Aspen Suites - Bangkok

Being a usual here now, i feel like at home and staff is so kind and always helpful . I' m hardly recommend it to everyone.

Location is optimal , Soi 2 were the action is !!! Staff is frienfdly and pool is great ! Truly recommend the place, in fact i'm comming back next week !

The hotel is very nicely located Sukhumvit soi 2 near Nana Plaza. They provide to you a Tuk Tuk service up to near BTS Station nearby. Rooms are clean, and they have a small kitchen which is handy. Pool is small but nice. Overal very nice value !!!

This is not a 4 star hotel. The star ratings on various websites for this hotel are misleading. This is one of the most lousy hotels I have ever stayed in. Bad smell, bad furniture , poor lighting are characterics of this hotel.

I stayed in 3 different hotels when I was in Thailand. 2 of them were a 5 star property and the 3rd was Aspen Suites however I enjoyed more in Aspen.. Some key features of Aspen suites - Friendly english speking staff - good location - Spcious Rooms - well equiped kitchen - very reasonable pricing Overall a great hotel to relax..

This hotel was good for the money. The rooms were spacious but a little worn, however everything worked well in the room. Kitchen is nice addition. Not recommended for business meetings but fine for a nights sleep

I enjoyed this hotel as overall its been the best hotel i have stayed in for a while. The position of the hotel is right in the middle of everything but on a quiet soi so you dont hear anything from the hotel. The room was clean and the staff was very happy and helpful. We had booked this hotel for the second time, after staying here in April 2012 as we started our nine month trip around the world. We were finishing our trip in Jan 2013 and wanted to stay here again. We were upgraded without asking from a standard room to the best executive suite which we were so pleased with. The room was amazing, huge. We had so […] much space and it was great. The staff were all so nice and happy, and we got one really well with all the resturant and kitchen staff. The pool is lovely and the patio area. Only downside was that the sun did not reach the pool area during this stay. It did in April, so obvioulsy down to time of year. We had a wonderful stay and it was alovely place to start and finish our trip. The hotel is a 5min walk to the main Bangkok street and the BTS train. We were very happy here. Devamı

The Aspen is a nice botique sized hotel in a good location on Soi to and walking distance to Nana area Soi 4 and BTS.I've stayed quite afew times at the Aspen before. The staff is very friendly and the roomsare decent sized. However, the hotel is starting to show some wear and tear. This is a conveniently located service apartment in Bangkok. The room is good for the rate and staff is helpful. But, water faucets (bathroom sink and kitchen sink), bathroom shower stand, etc. are old and were broken. Also, bathroom towels were very old with holes in it.

I have been traveling in and out of Bangkok for about 6 weeks and every time I stay at Aspen. The rooms are clean and the service is great. My only complaint is the breakfast is a bit pricy. (if not included in the price.) over all a good value.

The room was OK, a bit dark as our window looked onto an alley but it was OK for a 3 day stay . Breakfast was abundant and had a good selection. A bit hard to find for cab drivers, so it's best to mention the JW Mariott a few hundred meters away.

This is the second time I've used this hotel and it has worked out well for me both times. The hotel staff is friendly and helpful, the internet WiFi worked well in my room, and breakfast was great.

Incredible value for money (don't spend the extra for breakfast, it's not great), rooms were large and clean, and gym was OK but no aircon control to be able to turn it on! A short cut gets you to Soi 4 pretty easily (if overweight western men perving over thai girls if your thing) and a short BTS ride or taxi ride to Soi 11 and 14 which are very fun. It's a small hotel, it's first impression to me was a little disappointing. Room wasn't too bad but not too great. You get what you pay for. It is located in small street, they have toktok service during day time but felt little dangerous at night to walk. However all staff were excellent.

INITIALLY I WAS PUT UP ON A FLOOR WHICH HAD ONLY ONE ROOM WITH OTHER TWO ROOMS BEING FOR STAFF. ROOM WAS NOT PREPARED AS LIGHTS WERE NOT FULLY FUNCTIONAL NOR ANY BATHROOM SLIPPERS PROVIDED DURING THE STAY , I WAS TOLD MY ROOM DID NOT CATER FOR THEM , IT WAS NOT PLEASANT. We really enjoyed the Aspen Suites due to the huge room and comfortable space. The location was good, at the end of Soi 2 meaning it was quiet and yet easy to get to everything else that Sukhumvit offers. They even have a fee shuttle to get you to the top of the road but the walk is easy. Is average. The only plus point I would say are the beds which are comfortable. The door locks are not in good working condition though and had problems entering the room on several occasions My friends also had problems with the toilet and they also did not open the safe in their room even though they had no problems on the first few days. Staff were fantastic. They really were there to ensure your stay was to be enjoyed. If I had a request it was either dealt with immediately or within minutes. They even have their own Tuk Tuk service to take you to the Sukhumvit main road which is about a 8 minute walk and not fun in stifling heat. For a little contribution the Tuk Tuk man would take […] you direct to a destination in the local. Wireless internet from my room a bit hit and miss but they had wired internet also in the room so not an issue. The rooms were comfortable. I made use of the small gym and small swimming pool. If I had any criticism it would be the open area by the pool and gym, which was mosquitoe city and the Hotel should think about doing something to alleviate the pests. The staff were also very unobtrusive, they hardly ever seem to be around you when you were in the vicinity of the hotel but once you moved out of your room, dining area, pool area, they were hard at work again cleaning the area. I probably wouldn't agree with the 4 star rating of the premises but maybe for Bangkok it is a fair rating. Devamı

The rooms are modern and well furnished and good size. Unfortunately, the upkeep on the rooms is low and thus there are chips and scratches on everything. The bathroom, esp the tub, needs to be redone. But . I the rooms are the best quality of the hotel. The entire hotel smells like an ashtray. I got moved to a non-smoking room and it still smelled […] of stale smoke. The "lobby" and common areas are a dark and dated. The service for the most part was fine-not great, but not so bad. The free shuttle did not work,but there was still a sign up advertising it. Room service did not exist, I was told to come pick up my own food, but there was a room service menu in the room. The hotel had no taxi stand or shuttle of its own, so it used the one across the street whom overcharge greatly. I was told at the hotel that they are aware of this overcharging, but.... The one person whom was must disagreeable and unhelpful was the female manager. Most unpleasant-a lot of smiling and nodding, but really no help at all. did not recieve any help with luggage, no one showed me to my room, air conditioning did not work well, lack of towels and toilet paper and towels changed every other day, the room could of been cleaned better, the elevator broke down for a day. very dissapointed with the hotel, next time i will spend more money for a better hotel.

Outstanding hotel. Everything I needed was provided. Fantastic and freindly staff, hot showers, great food, kitchenette, parking, shuttle to the main road. Great value. The room was a good size. The hotel inlcuded use of the pool and fitness room. There was free wifi and and internet cord connection. I have two computers and connected both online. When I visit Bangkok, I never stay in the same hotel for over 5 days. My visits are usually 3 weeks long. On this trip my first reservation was at the Citadine 8. The bed was rock hard, powere kept shutting off in the room every hour, the room layout was not funtional. Needless to say I check out brite and early the next day. That's when I found Aspen […] Suites. Seeing that I just left a very uncomfortable night, I was in no mood for a repeat situation. Aspen Suites did not disappoint me at all. The room was beautiful. Nice open floorplan. Wonderful full kitch space with a full size refridgerator. Housekeeper Thiffny, was there to keep my room clean and supply me with any thing I ever needed. She is a wonderful person as well as very professional. When ever I order room service, Mhai was always there for me with everything I asked for.Again, Mhai was very professional. Yuth, my Tuk Tuk driver & maintance man, was also very helpful & resourceful. Yuth, also went grocery shopping with me to help me find all the groceries I was in knew of. The entire staff atAspen Suites are professional & friendly. Due to the great time & stay I was having at Aspen Suites, I decided to cancle ll of my other reservations and stay my entire trip with them. I highly reccommend Aspen Suites to everyone. The hotel is located within close proximity of the city center, perfect access to historical sites within Bangkok. The staff speaks English very well and taxi service available 24 hours, 7 days a week outside the hotel main entrance.
