The staff was not familiar with the area such as food recommendations and areas to visit. Also, in the rooms you can hear everything that goes on in the lobby as well the other rooms.

The staff who greeted us were great and professional as well as welcoming and helpful to get around Rome. Breakfast served in a basket hanging outside near the door of fresh pastries and rolls. Would definitely recommend. Only downside was that staff are there in daytime only so no one around at night. Free WiFi was so needed anyway!

The staff were unbelieveably helpful, wether it was advice on sites to visit, transport, dinning out. The room was charming and clean. Breakfast was simple, but fresh every morning. A perfect base for our time in Rome.

The hotel may seem a little off the beaten track but it was perfectly located only 10 minutes walk from the Colosseum & the Roman Forum. There are some great restaurants nearby & the people who run the hotel were very knowledgeable of the places that offered the best value for money. This is lovely, great value for money accommodation, in an excellent location for walking to all of the main areas of interest in Rome. We even walked to the Vatican and back (a long walk!), although it would have been easy via public transport as the hotel is very near to train and bus links. We got the Leonardo Express from the airport to Termini […] station and walked to the Aenea which was really easy. Make a note of the street number for Aenea as the entrance is easy to miss! The staff at the Aenea were very friendly and offered advice on where to go, marking good routes to walk on a complimentary map. The rooms are not huge, but perfect as a base for exploring, with efficient air-con.The bed was nice and firm and the shower was good.The breakfast basket is delicious and even in the cheapest room we found that there was space to sit at the table to eat and relax. The only negative thing that I would say is that some of the rooms are right off the lobby (ours was) and it was sometimes a little noisy in the mornings. It didn't matter for us, but worth bearing in mind if you are a late night party animal who might like to lay in! Devamı

Excellent location for train arrival from Fiumicino airport. Walk several blocks only. Same close proximity for "hop on off" buses and metro. Many nice restaurants surround the area too. We found it to be a great location. Very quiet at night. Staff spoke English and were friendly.

The hotel was run by a really friendly staff and it was a great value. It was our honeymoon so they gave us complimentary wine and glasses to keep. The free breakfast was delivered to our door early each morning and it was more than the two of us could eat. Then they gave us more cookies and snacks in the afternoon. I can not praise highly enough the management and staff at this hotel for their kindness, helpfulness and professional attitude. The airline (Alitalia) lost my luggage and could not have been less helpful if they tried, however the staff immediately jumped to the rescue nothing was too much for them. They insisted I continued with my holiday whist they […] spent the week trying to sort out the return of my lost luggage. They were superb and all done with a smile and sense of humour. The complimentary sparkling wine on arrival was a lovely touch and very much needed in my case, (recover from the shock of having no clothes) I could write hundreds of words about all the little touches and lengths that this hotel goes too to make your stay fabulous. Fantastic stay at the Aenea Superoir Inn. Great location, ten mins from main train station, ten mins walk to Colosseum. Tucked off the main road along a cobbled street. Perfectly clean rooms, modern facilities with a traditional Roman feel. Great addition to have a fridge and a safe in the room. My experienced of this hotel was during the heavy snow fall in Feb 2012. The heating was full on so the room was warm when you arrived and there was additional heating / air conditioning via an individual unit on the room wall. It was very convenient for the tourist attractions we walked everywhere, except for the vatican, however, as stated, the Main […] Rail, Bus and Metro station was only a short walk away even in 6 inches of snow. There was an assistant in the office who was most helpful providing information on what to see and how best how to get there The facilities are excellent for the type of guest who likes to get out and about, the room was fairly basic, the shower was excellent, the bed was comfortable and I loved the way the continental breakfast was served in a egg basket hung on your door. There was plenty of it and no disturbance when it was delivered. There were also plenty of tea, coffee and snacks provided. If you like to lounge around the hotel, then this is not the place for you, but if you want to spend your time doing the tourist thing then it is ideal. Due to the weather my wife and I weren't able to do a lot of the things we wanted to so we will be visiting Rome again and I know exactly where we will be staying. Here again Devamı

I had heard generally bad things about Roman hotels and I don't have much to compare this place to, but it was very much a B&B style where we had a nice but small room with a little table and chairs, minifridge, plates and cutlery, cookies and juice that they would restock everyday. For breakfast they delivered in a basket outside our door some fresh […] bread and pastries, and we had coffee and tea in our room. The ensuite bathroom had the the tiniest shower but had everything we needed overall. Importantly, great location (5-10min walk from termini max), nice, quite little b&b, and very clean with free but basic breakfast. They were attentive and friendly, but often the front desk wasn't staffed, though they gave us their mobile number if we needed it. Free wi-fi, which is unheard of in Italy. We received a very warm welcome to the Aenea Superior Inn and were immediately impressed by the staff and room. There are good local restaurants within a few minutes walk of the hotel, and a few smaller stores to buy fresh fruit, drinks, etc. The breakfast was fresh, and nice to be able to have it in our room with fresh coffee, rather than in a communal […] dining room. The small bar fridge provided was great, so that we could keep a supply of cold drinks on hand. The room was modern, comfortable and spotless! the bed was comfortable and had air conditioning, which was a blessing. The hotel is 10 minutes walk from Termini (for easy access to teh airport and Metro from the Vatican), about 15 from the Coloseum. Big thank you to the staff for such a great stay! The Aenea exceeded our expectations. We loved everything about it. The room was immaculate and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was spotless and the shower was hot and powerful. No charge for the safe. Lots of clean towels. The trip was to celebrate my 40th birthday and we were given a complimentary bottle of chianti with 2 glasses! very nice […] touch. Breakfast was nice - selection of croissants, pastries and bread rolls with plenty of preserves. Left in a basket outside the room so we could have breakfast in bed! We saw 3 different members of staff who were all very helpful. They even recommended a restaurant and made a reservation for us. What we particularly liked was how quiet it was - we felt that we were the only people in the block. Colloseum was approx 8 mins walk away, Trevi fountain and spanish steps approx 15 mins walk. Piazza Navona 20 mins walk. Loads of stuff to see on the way too. We would recommend visiting Trastevere and Campo de Fiori in the evenings for a wider range of places to eat and a better atmosphere. The bus terminal is only a 5 min walk away and costs 1 euro! then get a taxi back which will cost approx 8 euros. We hope to return to Rome sometime and would book the aenea again. We chose this hotel based on the great reviews, location and amenities-it was exactly what we hoped for and more. The hotel is situated on a quiet side-street with trendy shops and restaurants. Well what can I say the Aenea is the best hotel I have ever stayed in. The service was absolutely first class the staff cannot do enough for you. It is set in a condominium and you feel as if you are going home to your own apartment as the hotel is surrounded by private homes. It is not a regular hotel where you have a buffet breakfast and there is […] no bar, but for myself and my husband this made the hotel unique. You are given your own set of keys one to get you into the building, one for the front door of the hotel and one for your room, this is one of the reasons you feel like you are going home every night! Every morning you are left a basket on a hook outside your door with pastries and rolls in it. In the room there is a basket with a full range of teas and coffees. Bottles of juice, jams and biscuits, this is restocked daily. There is also an expresso machine, kettle and fridge. So there are plenty of supplies. As the hotel is off of the main roads it is very quiet, you are guaranteed and great nights sleep. The bed was very comfortable and made every day with crisp white sheets. Our room had a tv, the only english channels were world news and MTV but this was not an important thing for us as we were there to see Rome not watch tv! The hotel was very clean and lovely fluffy white towels in the bathrooms. If we return to Rome then I would not stay anywhere else. If you want to feel part of Rome then this is the hotel for you. Really pleased with Aenea. Bright, clean room. No problems at all and was able to leave bags and keep a set of keys on the last day before an evening flight. Good location and distance to main sights & termini station, was able to walk everywhere (except using metro for vatican city). We enjoyed having an espresso machine.

This hotel was really perfect for our stay in Rome: although it was a walk into the Centro Storico part of the city, the walk itself was very picturesque, and the location of the hotel meant that it was quiet and peaceful when we got back at night. The breakfast was VERY carb-heavy, and by mid-week we were a little desperate for something that wasn't a sticky pastry, but it was novel to be able to eat in our rooms. Having air conditioning was a complete God-send as the temperatures in Rome were crazy hot, and the rooms stayed cool throughout the days too. Dette er ikke eegtlig et hotell, men mer et hostell, noe som passet oss fint. det ligger kjempenært termini og et koselig nabolag Monti med mange gode men billige restauranter og fine cafeer rett nedi gata. Hotellet låg i ett gammalt gediget hyreshus. Högt i tak och fräscha rum och badrum. Trevlig och mycket hjälpsam personal. Lyhört genom dörrarna, men inte mycket liv och spring på obekväma tider. Brödkorg på dörren varje morgon, så vi kunde äta frukost när det passade oss. Köpte till yoghurt mm i ett närliggande supermarket. Centralt läge!

Perfekter, freundlicher und sehr hilfsbereiter Service. Lage des Hauses optimal, sehr ruhig,kein Straßenlärm. Sehr angenehm: Frühstück im Zimmer,mitmehrals ausreichender Verpflegung.
