Thought we were Staying In Town at the San Sophia Luxury Condominiums Turns out they put us at the FAR end of Town NOT in the San Sophia at all

good location, great views, design, big kitchen, just irritated that they charged and additional $56 for cleaning charges that were never mentioned

We booked this over the phone...trusting the hotels.com operator...she assured us it was very nice...and it was great!!!

The accommodations were NOT as pictured. I should have known better, but lister/property management company should have to show photos from actual property. Location to Telluride ski lifts is great and very close. Location to town is a bit farther. The condo was nice but for the price,I think we should not be staying in an employee housing project. Our neihbors returned home from their jobs at the local bar/restaurant and began partying from 2-3:30am. There was vomit on the landing outside our hallway. For the price we should get what's advertised in the website!!

They put us in a different condo complex than quoted, and charged an additional $25 not listed on our confirmed prepaid reservation. Some windows didn't have screens, so bugs came in during the night. Checkout was at 10:00, and the owner came to escort us from the room when my handicapped sister-in-law wasn't ready by 10:30. We won't go back.

Practically everything was perfect -great 2-bedroom 2-bathroom condo with balcony as a part of second entry into master bedroom, well equipped kitchen and big livingroom with dining area, garage for 1 car, beatiful view, great surrounding, 5 minutes walk from downtown. Small minuses: not clear directions to get in (especially from office to condo), […] big bump into garage, no second attempt to clean in one of days after unseccussful first one (we were still in condo). Big minus (or plus) - No internet connection and no way to get it even for extra pay in the contrary to advertized complimentary Internet connection. Devamı

Other than the surprise $25 cleaning fee at time of check in this place was great. It is located in Mountain Village, right next to the free gondola that takes you into downtown Telluride. Room was nice and clean, full kitchen!

Beautiful window views of the trees and mountains. Nicely furnished 1 bedroom condo with secured underground parking and elevator. Great locations with nearby restaurants and shops. Free gondola rides and very quiet condo. Would definitely recommend for a couple and plan to return. Friendly staff.

The pictures on the web site for Hotels.com do not match the condo that we stayed in so we were somewhat surprised by our final destination. That being said, the condo was clean and comfortable. The kitchen had all the implements necessary to cook a meal (I've stayed in other "fully" functional kitchens to find that they only had one or two pots with […] one or two spoons). Someone had turned off the gas fireplace prior to our visit and per the note attached, it was "very" difficult to get it relit, as in, we never were successful. There were no instructions for connecting to the wireless network included in the information booklet. Luckily I am an IT guy and eventually figured it out - others may not be so lucky. This property is located near downtown Telluride so, like just about everything in town, was within easy walking distance. This property included a steam bath in the shower as well as a hot tub outside, both of which were enjoyed immensely by my daughters. Devamı

Great Condo overall! The condo was very nice and decorated well. It has a gas fire with the flip of a switch as well as good heating. The kitchen was completed loaded with everything you could need (pots pans can opener utensils etc). Our only problem with the condo was the comforter and bed had a few weird looking stains so we tossed the sheets off […] the bed when we slept. Devamı

I think we may have gotten a lemon! The condo looked nice on the surface but we had so many issues that it pretty much ruined our vacation. First of all, if you advertise a "full kitchen" you should walk into a kitchen with all the necessary equipment and full-size appliances. The dorm room fridge wasn't big enough to hold all of the food we brought […] and it didn't have any temperature control settings on it so it froze everything in it. The oven didn't work, which made cooking impossible and there was only 1 small frying pan to try to cook in on the stove top. Try making pancakes and sausage for breakfast in 1 tiny pan that has grooves on the bottom of it! The bed was extremely uncomfortable and so were the pillows. Our kids slept on the pull-out couch and I am glad they are still young and small or they would be crippled by the horrible mattress that was on that thing! There was only 1 tiny fan in the place which we let our kids have in the living room so it was extremely warm in the bedroom and impossible to sleep! Forget a nice shower....the water was either scalding hot or freezing cold with no in-between and there was no water pressure so it barely trickled out of the shower head! Then there was the issue of the carbon monoxide detectors that needed new batteries and decided to start "chirping" in the middle of the night! This place had great potential but ended up being a big disappointment! We loved Telluride and still managed to have a good time despite the condo issues so we will go there again. Next time we will either get a hotel or camp as we would have been more comfortable in a tent! If you advertise yourself as a "luxury" condo you had better be able to deliver....this condo did not! Staff was very friendly and helpful. Ballard House condo was nicely located, but carpeting was extremely soiled, with food and bleached spots. Condo is very tired, furniture is rough, dated. Bed was very comfortable. I expected more for the money.
