Very pleasant. The staff was extremely friendly. While I am not a fan of National Harbor as a destination (would prefer to be in DC), the hotel location within National Harbor was outstanding (just a few steps to where meetings were held).

This was my second time at the Hampton Inn and I am always satisfied with my stay. The location is perfect for the conference(s) i attend across the street from the Gaylord. The staff is always a pleasure..I typically stay at "posh" hotels and have to say the staff has never come close to how polite and helpful the folks at the Hampton Inn are.

Very affordable, good location, and excellent service during my entire 7 day stay. Located about 20 minutes by car from downtown Washington D.C. My family would definitely return.

The area was a little slow, which was good and bad. It was relaxing and quiet, but would of been nice to have some more things to do in area with traveling into the city.

The hotel offers comfortable, somewhat elegant rooms but I suppose I was more impressed with the personnel and the warmth you get interacting with them. But for my phone call bills which seemed a bit high, my stay overall was great.

My overall stay was good. The shower pressure was low and we had to call maintenance to fix the temperature of the water because it was not hot. We had to call maintenance at least two times. There is no elevator to the hotel. The parking is across the street from the hotel so if you have a lot of luggage you have to drop it off in front of the hotel. […] We reserved a 2 bedroom queen studio room. The room was very huge. It came with a sofabed. It had plenty of room. I will reserve this hotel again. I'm coming back to the Natioanl Harbor. Devamı

Our second stay at the Hampton Inn and the place is nice. The rooms are nice & clean with comfortable bed, good size bathroom with large shower, flat screen tv, desk, etc. We saw but didn't use the indoor pool which is on the small side but at least they have one. There's an included, continental breakfast, the staff is very friendly and all-in-all […] a good place to hang and stay if you go to the National Harbor. Parking is $11, no matter where you stay but is right across the street. Devamı

This was my first time staying here. In years past we've stayed at the Gaylord located across the street. This hotel was conveniently situated for all our needs. Friendly hotel staff, lifeguard on duty at pool, although he wasn't necessary as the deepest depth is 4 feet. Only bad side to this hotel was the complimentary breakfast. Nice hotel in a beautiful surrounding as far as National Harbor and the water. Very clean hotel and friendly employees.

The hotel was very nice and the staff extremely helpful. It is located directly across the street from the Gaylord Conference Center but the rooms were much more affordable and came with a very nice breakfast. It was a pleasure to stay there!

We lucked out and had the beautiful weather right after Thanksgiving, so that certainly didn't hurt. The Hampton Inn as other hotels in the Harbor complex is basically new. It's clean, looks good and the rate was reasonable. The folks behind the desk were friendly and helpful. The hotel sits back within the complex, which means if you want or need to […] be closeer to the water, you can be...but really no biggy. The room was nice, clean w a very comfortable bed, nice bathroom. Nothing to complain about. To sum it up, I'd stay there agin. Parking is $11.00, no mater which hotel you stay at. This was a great hotel and an excellent alternative to the way overpriced Gaylord Center Hotel at National Harbor in DC. Staff was great, room was enormous, and the complimentary breakfast was great! I was there 5 days and the breakfast was different every day.

Our experience with the hotel itself was wonderful. We got a suite for a great price, the staff was friendly and helpful, the room was comfy, the complimentary breakfast was wonderful. However, I didn't like the engineered feel of the National Harbor area, nor the overpriced restaurants. We were staying there for a conference my husband had at the […] Gaylord resort. Hotel was across the street from the conference. Very convenient to shopping and eating, as well. Large room easily accomodated three women.

The hotel is conveniently located across the street from the Convention Center, in a quiet, clean area. This new building has all facilities needed for a pleasant stay. I found the beds particularly comfortable. The personnel was helpful and efficient.

We just stayed one night as we were driving to see family in Virgina. I was pleasantly happy that it was in walking distance to most of the attractions and right next to the Glaylord Resort.

while the hotel provided us with a place to sleep and a good hot/cold breakfast, the information passed between it and hotels.com is scarce at best. None of our requests transfered to the hotel, Ie: two rooms next to each other, a port-a-crib/pack-n-play. The front desk told us none of the rooms connected but each room has a door that leads into the […] one next to it! Also hotels.com states that it is hanicapped friendly but that is only a ramp into the hotels and not amenities in the room. It took two requests during the day and finally a trip down to the front desk to get the p-n-p for our daughter. We were told that sheets would be provided in the closet yet none were in there (in either room). Yes they have a pool but it is small and only open in the evenings during the week (time of our stay). Also parking is not free ($11/day for guests) and in a public garage located across the street. This would have been nice to know considering we had 3 children with us all under 8 years old. We liked the area of National Harbor as we had our own vehicle to travel into DC with but next time we will choose another hotel in the area. Devamı

Everything about our welcome and stay was exceptional - front desk staff informed us of all amenities and parking upon arrival; rooms were comfortable and the lobby afforded our family reunion group to meet and greet (play cards too) with relative ease. The room was really big and clean. The staff was great. The hotel offers free breakfast that was really good ( not the usual crappy free breakfast) The only thing I didn't like about the room was that the air conditioner was regulated a motion sensor. We happened to be staying here on one of the hottest days of the year. The unit only stays on if the […] motion censor registers a person being in the room. Upon arriving the room was hot. It took about 20 mins for it to cool off. Also the AC cut off during the night when we fell asleep (No movement). I woke up in a pool of sweat and had to get up a walk around periodically to keep the AC going. That really sucked.. Devamı

We stayed here for a festival at the Harbor. The hotel is a great location and our stay was very enjoyable. My only issue was at check-in and check-out. We got to our room and it was not what we had reserved. So, we had to change rooms. You also have to pay for parking at this hotel and we had it added to our bill. But, after we had checked out and […] went to leave the parking lot, we were charged again, plus some. Had to go back to the hotel and they said they had returned the money to my credit card. So, we will see. This hotel was not cheap, but it was cheap on convience for the customer. Devamı

The hotel is in a great location, you can park your car and walk everywhere. The staff were very friendly and efficient, the decor and cleanliness of the hotel were also terrific. Only complaint was noise. Both nights of our stay we were awakened by noise from other rooms. One night there was a group partying (sounded like it was in the hall) at 3am […] and the next night there was screaming and crying next door from a mother and daughter who were apparently fighting. The hotel was comfortable but I did not get the microwave that was promised because they "ran out". I had to go to the general area downstairs to warm our meals and I did not quite appreciate that.

The hotel was very nice, in a great location, and staff was more then helpful. I had booked two rooms for a Saturday night visit and requested that the rooms be conjoining, When we first checked in and made it to the rooms we found that they were not conjoining. However, when we went back to the front desk, Denise was more then helpful with accommodating […] our request, even walking us up to the rooms to make sure it would be sufficient, love that! She was very nice and pleasant and made the visit that much more enjoyable! The rooms were clean and bed bug free! The continental breakfast was great too, not just the basic bagels, cereal, and coffee breakfast, they had an array of options including a waffel station, which you do not see to often. we had a nice stay bf was great all staff was helpful and great rm was clean one complaint filter in heating unit was gross other than that every thing was fine will recommend to others and will come back btw it is a smoke free hotel i thought smoking was aloud

The hotel is convenient for the convention center (across the street), and breakfast is good. The upstairs halls where the rooms are not heated (the roooms are heated) so walking through the hotel is like walking outdoors on a cold day.

Had a meeting at Gaylord resort, but hotel could not give me 5 nights in a row. I found the Hampton Inn very convenient, affordable, and comfortable. I was glad I was able to leave the frenetic environment of the Gaylord Resort.
