Milwaukee Days Inn - Wauwatosa

This is the worst hotel i have ever stayed at. want my money back! my door handle was broke, th lamps were broken, the the alarm was set and on for 230 am and not caught by housekeeping, the phone was still upside down from the guest before me, and the overall look and smell was aweful! please dint take your kids there!

I stay 2Nights we had to change room in the 2ND night TV did not work, phone did not work and the 2nd room smell like a smoke room went i request no smoking room,

This hotel is so outdated and dirty it is shameful. The cost and location were great but it didn't outweigh the negatives...which included but are not limited to....two cop visits during our weekend stay, one fire department visit, the most digusting sink I have ever seen and a menagerie of smells in the hallway. The attached bar and restrauant were […] nice. But if you are thinking this is a find because of the pool you are wrong...not worth it. Devamı

The hotel could use some updating, but for the price, it was adequate. We really appreciated the extra service at the desk. We needed to fax several forms, plus we needed some copies of forms made. These were all done without any extra charge. The restaurant that goes with this hotel is fabulous. The food was excellent and the prices were so reasonable. […] Besides the low prices, an extra 10% was taken off the bill if you were staying at the hotel. Devamı

Bad curtains, rods broken so curtains unorganised .... light was coming from outside. But breakfast was awesome....

Very loud and not comfortable at all.

I liked this hotel, they had a free breakfast, a pool, and covered parking, as well as tunnels to keep you inside between your room and the pool. The room was older in style and the sinks, bed, shower, and toilets were all at a very low level, seemingly a child's height level. This was weird, but functional. Just needed an over night for a very early Dr appt. Clean, quiet and comfortable. Good heat control in room. Nice to walk inside to the restaurant and the food was good.

Everything was great except the walls were very thin. I had a room near the entrance I heard everything. Some people stood in the hall and had a half an hour conversation at 4am and it sounded like they were in my room with me. The door and walls don't keep sounds out very well. Also you can hear people outside the windows too. It was a very nice hotel […] besides that. I really liked that there was a restaurant/bar next door too so I did not have to drive to get dinner. The hotel was very convenient to where we were going to visit. The room was very clean and comfortable. The hotel was in the process of painting the outside. Also there is a restaurant connected with the hotel and the food was great. You also receive a 10% discount on all meals if you stay at the hotel. I would definitely stay there again!!!

The receptionist was vary nice. Location is good just a few minute drive to the Mayfair Mall. Pool was nice an warm. I would stay the again.

The best thing we have to say about this hotel is that the pool and hot tub were on par with much more expensive hotels we stayed at. Very clean and well maintained. The breakfast was nice and the breakfast area was very clean. The rooms? Yikes! We had to change rooms twice. The first time was because there was a leak in the ceiling and the second was […] because there was no security lock on the door on the inside of the room. I never write reviews but after my visit this week, I felt compelled to. Everything about this hotel is not as it appears. My room was simply filthy, dated, filled with burn holes, and generally terrible. I wish I could upload the photos I have from it for this review. The trim was half torn off near the TV, the wall plate cover for the wall AC unit […] was broken (thank God I did not bring kids who might have stuck their fingers in there), the wall under the bathroom sink, which is hard to not notice, was filthy and looked like I was living on a street curb, there were mold spores in the AC unit, cigarette burn holes in the chairs, quilt, carpet, etc. This place was probably out of date in 1990. I would never recommend this place to anyone I ever talked to and wish I would have stayed at the Super 8 just up the street like I did last time, which is WAY better than this place for the exact same price. This might have been a nice motel in it's day. However, it's day has passed. Cleanliness was not good. Access was nearly impossible with the road construction in the area. You get what you pay for. I would not feel right recommending this motel.

The hotel is an older one but they are doing repairs. The pool, whirlpool was nice, clean and large. Restaurant was attached and offered delivery to rooms. Close to downtown attractions. Staff was friendly.

besides the road construction issues this is an ok place to tsay most things are in need of repair,but other than that it was good, they are renovating so it is a work in progress so I know they are working to make it better

The only problem I had was my keys did not work when we checked in, then after we got back from Brewer game they did not work again. Hotel is in GREAT location for couple blocks to Zoo and couple miles to Miller Park. Parking lot very narrow but was nice to be able to park under shelter. Rooms are nice for what you pay. 4 pillows on each bed was great. […] Pool was nice and Big. Under ground tunnel was nice to get to the pool. Very nice hotel for the price you pay.. Would stay again. The hotel staff was friendly and responsive. The physical plant needs some attention, but the room was clean and comfortable. Good value at a fair price for us.

it smelled like mold in the room and hallways.the hot tub was not to hot , it was like a warm /cold shower

an older building but kept up nicely. very convenient for state fair & everyone working there was wonderful.

It is in a very good location, close to the zoo. The resturant attached to the hotel was very good. Hotel was old and in need of upgrades. The bed was very uncomfortable. The room had an odd set up. The bathroom was in between the 2 double beds. I suppose this provides a little bit of privacy but with only one TV it means anyone in the other bed could […] not see it. This is an older motel, and could definitely use some exterior updating. The room was clean, but there was mold on the walls, older carpeting in the halls. Very nice restaurant, reasonable prices attached to motel. Very close to zoo, easy access to I-94.

There are 2 things I can say positive about this place: the pillows were fantastic and it was quiet! Otherwise, I was NOT impressed. I appreciate the low rate I received, but I don't think it was even worth that! I could have dried my hair faster by having my husband blow on it himself than with the hair dryer provided.

Upon arriving to the hotel, we were greeted by signs with letters falling off in the lobby, dirty floors in the hallways, and chipped paint and wallpaper everywhere. When we got to our room, we were overcome by the smell of mold and mildew, complete with holes in the ceiling and spiderwebs in the corners. The room had clearly not been cleaned properly; […] there were cigarette burns in our linens. The walls were so thin, we could hear everything going on outside the hotel, as well as inside other rooms. There were no vending machines or microwaves; we had to exit the building and walk to the main lobby (not attached to the rest of the hotel) to use them. Overall, I would only stay here again if it were my last option...and I would absolutely bring my own linens and plenty of disinfectant. Devamı

The hotel is undergoing renovations and may be nice when finished. 1st room smelled moldy and had a leak in bathroom ceiling that showered you if you were near the toilet. Moved to a different room. Inconsistent amenities (no kleenex or hair dryer in 2nd room). Attached restaurant was a pleasant surprise, modern and good food at good prices. Pool size […] and area was good. internet did not work room smelled a little funky over all its not worth the price payed for it but what do u expect on a july 4th weekend everywhere else was booked and or expensive

I called the day before we arrived and asked if we can check in a couple hours early. A gentlemen told me it would be no problem. Upon our arrival a women at the front desk said nothing was available for the room type I purchased but we would be able to upgrade for $15 to something that was available. I said I was told our room would be avail to which […] she replied, "we don't even have to check you in until 3pm!" So I had to pay $15 extra even tho I called ahead to be sure this would no be a problem. Their corporate office will be getting a phone call. Devamı

As everyone else has reviewed this place definitely needed renovating. The pool felt filthy dirty. The pool was right by the front office yet no one in there said anything to the people drinking alcohol in the hot tub. The rules clearly said no glass bottles and no food or drinks in the pool area. It also claims to be smoke free & the girl in the room […] across from the office was smoking her butt off in the doorway w/o anyone asking her not to & the hallways smelled of cigarettes too. The rug in the room was so dirty it needed shampooing desperately. & the room scents were horrible. We had to run to the dollar store down the road to get air freshner because it was so bad. The cost was great & it was located perfectly for our weekend at Miller Park & the Zoo. The office worker the evening of the 4th of July was kind enough to help my husband find local fireworks for our kids to get to see and he selected a great place. Overall we were happy with the stay but the hotel is in need of major updating. The parking lot is small and difficult to manuver around in. Our room was set up funny...one double bed on each side with the bathroom in the middle, which is nice for privacy but you could only see the TV from one side of the room. Its not is a bad location but the construction […] made it frustrating to get in and out easily. It was nice having the resturant and bar so close. We would probably stay there again if necessary but we weren't overly impressed. Devamı
