Pretty pricy for what is there. The room was nice, but inadequate lobby, meeting rooms, etc.-no snacks, no breakfast-great if you like gee-dunk machines

We would not stay there again because they have no ice machines.

Nice place to stay.the chinese restaurant nextdoor was really good also.

This hotel was great. Lots of room, clean, convenient location. Makes you feel like home!

Very good hotel. New and clean and good service.

Very clean and well set up with nice touches such as popcorn in the microwave, and a free drink upon arrival. The staff was very helpful and came into my room to show me how to use the remote for the TV and DVD.Would recommend when in the Oak Harbour area. Restaurant next door (chinese) was also good.

The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. The exercise room was legit--had a bike, treadmill and weight machine, which is a lot more than the single treadmill that most hotels have! I was only there for one night, but if I'm ever in the area again I would stay here again.

Nothing opulent, but very functional. Cooktop, microwave and refrigerator makes this a great place for an extended stay. However, I was only there for one night. Coffee in the room, a comfortable bed, and decent pillows make for a comfy stay. I'll definitely stay he again. really nice facility and staff. brought my 17 year old dog on a vacation for just "her". she usually has to stay in a kennel, so i decided to give her a weekend away. the hotel was perfect. a dog walk in the back and a compact room w/kitchen. we explored the many surrounding trails during the day and at she slept like a puppy that night. i will be back, […] with or without my litte ginny. don't hesitate to stay at the candlewood. The Candlewood Suites Oak Harbor was a very pleasant surprise. The room was clean, spacious, and had a really pleasing layout and decor. Everything was in perfect working condition, the in-suite kitchen was really nice, and the bed was tremendously comfortable. We were only staying as a quick stop on the way to the Olympic Peninsula, but found ourselves […] wishing we could have taken this hotel with us for the rest of the trip. I think the only downside was lack of a continental breakfast, but at least that's clearly stated on the site listing and at checkin, and the front desk did have a mini convenience store if you're on the run and need a quick bite to eat. It was a comfortable stay. The staff was very helpful. My room was on the back of the hotel and i didn't hear any noise from the hwy. It was quiet and pleasant. I was on a bicycle trip and had a good rest.

I was quite happy with this newer suite hotel. I thought the staff and the room were just lovely. Be aware that there is only housekeeping once a week, so you may not have anyone attend to your room during your stay, but this was not an issue for me.
