The hotel itself was nice, we stayed over a saturday night however the first floor rooms are probably the worst place to be.... #1 the amount of people coming off the elevator / talking while going by your door is extremely annoying and interrupted my sleep a couple of times. Room was nice and clean, what we look for in a motel, and the decor was pleasant. Unfortunately the bed was extremely hard and we had a terrible night sleep. Had a better sleep in the chair. Now that was comfortable. Unfortunately, we didn't reserve the chairs... we were very disappointed in the "ultra firmness" of the bed. I was pleased with impeccable service. The place was so clean and comfy. Reception desk was so much willing to provide info that I needed. They were well educated, and well trained. They knew what to say, and how to respond to questions from a guest. It was less than one minute walking distance to the Tower, and Coco restaurant within the holiday inn […] was awesome. I've stayed here about 6 times over the last 20 years or so, as well as a lot of other hotels in the Falls (I go there every year). Still the best, mostly due to the location. My only complaint is the selection of TV channels is poor (not much to watch) but I'm usually too busy to watch too much TV anyway. The Hotel is showing its age but overall it was very comfortable. The location was good, only a 20 minute walk to Clifton Hill. One issue is parking, the hotel shares the parking lot with public parking and when we arrived at 3:00 PM to check in, there was no parking spaces available but it did empty out soon enough toward the end of the day. the location was great right across form the casino. Excellent pool,whirlpool and sauna. Excellent chek-in people. Good Breakfast and not at a rip off price.

First visit to Niagara, and this hotel was clean comfortable and in a good location. Staff were very helpful and I would stay here again..

Room was big enough for our family of 5. Short walk to the falls and to restaurants. We were very happy with our stay. Not expensive. Especially happy to see plenty of towels for all 5 of us in the room.

I was very happy with the size and cleanliness of the rooms. The breakfast buffet was average.

See my previous review. This time the shower was great!

Rooms were spotless and comfortable. One elevator did not work but stairs were just as easy. Called the front desk on 3 occasions and never got an answer.

First time in this hotel but was really amazed with the service. More so, at the price that we paid, the rooms are excellent! We will definitely recommend this to our friends & relatives. Thanks very much!:)

Our room was on the first floor and very near the entrance lobby. It was very noisy for most of the evening and at night there was a lot of arguing and comotion from people running up and down the stairs. There must have been a party going on. Holiday Inn Niagara Falls was priced right for a weekend getaway with the family,with no surprise charges and free parking( Don't we all resent the extra fees the big hotels charge?) This hotel is in an excellent location and very close to all the amenities in Niagara such as restaurants, the casino (across the road) and of course the falls and parks a minute or two walk away. It was also great to have free parking facilities available at the hotel. The rooms were quite nice and at least at this time of year (December) which is […] their off season were very quiet. The hotel is what you can expect for a Holiday Inn - nice bonus that the parking was free. HOWEVER for a business traveller the wireless high speed internet was wireless almost no speed internet - no real improvement after several complaints to the front desk each day 8 Minutes per email....not much use to someone who needs the service, so this will […] be my one and only stay here Devamı

If you dont need a hotel room with a view of the falls then this hotel is the place to stay. Compared to a lot of the other big name hotels right near the falls, this was definitely the best bang for the buck. The falls are about a 5 minute walk down the hill. We were there on a Friday night and were able to see the fireworks they do on Friday nights […] and made for a nice romantic time with my wife as it was her birthday that day. Parking is free which is also a huge plus as it seems like parking can be a pain in the downtown Falls area. A lot of the other hotels besides being more expensive, also charged for parking as well which definitely made this hotel a winner for me. The only complaint I have about this place and its a very miniscule complaint is that it was an older style tv - boob tube style. I was hoping for an HD tv that I could have hooked my laptop into. Nice place small compared to all the big ones in the area. I liked the free parking and food near by.

We got a room on the first floor near the elevator and back door to the hotel. We were unable to sleep all night due to foot traffic in and out of the hotel and up and down the elevator. The back hotel door slams really hard everytime someone enters or leaves the hotel. Very unhappy with our stay. However, the location is great. Walls in rooms are paper thin. We heard everything going on in the room next to ours. Got a room with a view of the parking lot. We had to keep our drapes shut at all times to avoid people looking into our room. Old hotel with very outdated features.

I always try to balance a good price with good quality. I won't pay for top of the line hotels but I won't stay at the bargain basement either. Having said that, I have never been more pleased with my choice than I was with my stay at Holiday Inn Niagara Falls (Canada)! I rated everything a 5 except for maintenance. (A screw had fallen out of the door […] strike plate.) Otherwise the room was great and the pools were fantastik. Breakfast was only average but the convenience was very nice. This was a lovely hotel, that was in a great location. Our rooms were nice, clean and we did enjoy the balcony, that you don't find in many hotels any more. The decor was a little odd, very eclectic in an unusual way, but really what does that matter. The price for the middle of summer was reasonable and included parking and on site. The staff were […] great at check in and out and were very helpful when they helped prebook our Whirlpool Jetboat Tour ( A MUST DO) on line. A very good hotel, good location near to all atractions and falls. Nice people at the reception (we could check -in at noon instead of 3 pm). Free parking lot . The room was clean. We enjoyed the swimming pools, sauna and spa. Family from Montreal:-)

Stayed at this hotel with our 5 yr- old. perfectly met all our requirements - balcony, great location, king bed, 4-star'ish hotel, pool (indoor and outdoor). can get better 'deals' aka 'with breakfast incl'd', etc, for maybe $50 less as other members of our party did, but they ended up at our hotel as it was better and had better amenities. Room good, […] could be updated a little, but pretty good. 2 blocks downhill to Falls. (close as you'll get if not at the $300-$400 rate hotels). Wouldn't recommend Coco Restaurant for dinner, (high priced, not a lot of variety), but breakfast buffet was good. Front desk could use more staff, but generally good. Rooms do not contain fridges which was surprising, but ice bucket and/or sink (w/ ice) did the trick for drinks. Was happy with my choice and would recommend to others. Not right in the Clifton Hill district, which lots of 'cheaper' hotels are, but was glad for this - was quiet, no problem w/ 'drunks' etc, although our stay was Tues-Thurs, not the weekend. Try to get the side facing the Falls for your view, although you do not see the falls, you'll see the river, and generally nice view, nicer than the parking lot side. try for 6th floor (top floor). Well located, convenient, and accessible. The Holiday In on Murray St in Niagara Falls has it all. Kids we more than pleased with the pool, beds were comfortable, and all the ammenities were right there if you needed them. Steps away from just about everything, you simply cannot go wrong. Highly recommended.

It was the cheapest option we found for the next day to visit the Falls, and it was GREAT. We love Holiday Inn. We were 4 in one room. Beds were big and comfortable. Room was extremely nice. Walking distance from the Falls (just on top of the street that leads to it. Maybe 3 minutes walking). Close to the main street with all restaurants and entertainment […] (8 min. walk)... Close to the Falls - 5 min or less walk down to the falls - 10 to 15 minutes uphill back. Nice hotel for the money. Breakfast Buffet was so-so. Just a general heads up for any one traveling in Canada the taxes are crazy!!!! Plan an extra couple of hundred just for taxes. That is why they advertise everything with the $price not including tax. ($11.00 […] plus tax) The motel overall had a nice pool area and exercise room and had great customer service folks at the front desk - eager to help. Room was clean and comfortable. A nice touch of having a choice of soft or firm pillows. It did appear that there was only one washer and dryer for the entire hotel. The hotel is aging but is well taken care of at this time. The layout overall of the room was good, our view was not the best (dumpsters) but we were able to see the Skylon and the fireworks from our room. A suitcase holder would have been nice, but we did have plenty of bureau room. The bathroom was kept nice and clean and you had a lovely assortment of hair products. Things we would like to see, more then one washer and dryer. Kleenex in the room. Our room was down two light bulbs. Wi-Fi was hit or miss depending on where you sat in the room. Fridge without charging for it. We used alot of ice because of this. TV was older which wasn't a viewing issue, but we enjoy viewing our digital pictures at the end of the day and we did not have a hook up on the TV for this.
