Comfortable, clean. Serves only coffee and one kind of pastry in the morning-set up for long term stays with kitchenette facilities. Several breakfast places nearby. 20-25 minutes ride down I-80 to South Bend for the football season. Phones did not work. Front desk was no help with respect to phones. Hair dryer barely worked. No breakfast or amenities. Only one elevator. Rooms were clean but starting to show signs of wear and tear. Not a bad place if you only need to sleep there, but not one you would choose if you had other options.

The Candlewood Suites in Elkhart, Indiana provided me with great services at a great price. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. I would recommend this hotel to anyone passing through.

We are Canadian and come down from Welland/Ontario(my boyfriend and I) every year for the past 3 years in order to enjoy the charisma and excitement of the Notre Dame game weekends. The room is big and comfortable. Everything is designed to fit your needs. They have the biggest TV I've ever seen in an economic hotel, a dressing mirror and a full kitchen. My husband and I had a great experience there.

I arrived at the hotel very late but the staff was still pleasant and helpful. A light bulb went out in my room and the desk attendant had it replaced right away. Everything at the hotel was as advertised and I would not hesitate to stay there again.

The hotel met our expectations. Staff was very friendly and it is your typical modern, clean hotel room. The price also was very competitive.

We went down to see my brother going to school at Norte Dame and watch the football game. Only about a 10 - 15 min drive ffrom the school. Hotel was clean. Actually had more ammenities in the room than we needed. A very nice kitchen with everything you would need.
