Even with 2x adults and 2x children in one room there was plenty of space and comfortable. The room was clean, modern and perfect for our needs. The breakfast was an added bonus, buffet style and the children loved it.

A good hotel, basic but served our needs. Decent breakfast. Free parking was a definite advantage. Perhaps upgrade the mattress's as woke up with a stiff back. Clean and efficient.

Nice clean quite hotel bed was lumpy and room was to hot and couldn't alter temp. Breakfast seemed to be a hit or miss had to wait 15 mins for a clean mug and self device area is very small. Prices for meals are expensive we went over the road to the paper mill that had fab meals at reasonable prices location was good for us as we was going to WB studio […] tours which was only a 10 min drive. Excellent location, just 5 min walk to Apsley Train Station with easy access to central London. Free parking at Hotel, rooms are nice and clean.

The room was very clean and the hotel location is excellent for the Harry Potter Studio Tour. The sofa bed was not comfortable for the children. It would probably be fine for young and small children! The staff were helpful, but the breakfast food and service was very disappointment.

Hotel was, nice and clean as you would expect, lovely large TV. When got to room had a faulty kettle went to reception twice to swap but was based so never got a working one (I would have thought staff would have checked ok or come to help). Booked 2 rooms. Very good value for money, with breakfast included. Ideal location for catching the train to London with a good pub +food adjacent.. Only a couple of suggestions the sheets and mattress protectors were too small for the beds which was a bit annoying and not enough towels were supplied for the no. of people staying per room, .

Helpful, friendly staff. Clean. 6 hours internet available without melting a credit card. Big carpark. Breakfast fine unless you like bacon. Would get an army marching at least some distance, though it might need a break later.

The hotel was fine and excellently placed for Apsley railway station, just 30 minutes into London Euston. Only problem was with the booking - we booked via Expedia for a double, single and cot and were not contacted before arrival by either Expedia or the hotel. We called the hotel on the day of our arrival to find that although the hotel had confirmed […] the booking, they did not have rooms which could accommodate us. (No way to get double, single and cot in the same room) In the end we had to pay for a second ajoining room - which worked out fine, although obviously cost more than we had planned. Nice new building, friendly service, does what it says on the tin. Don't take room 514, it's noisy probably due to some kit on the roof.

This hotel met our needs really well, we stayed 2 ngts in July 2011 with our children. The staff were friendly, the room was clean, the breakfast was more than adequet for us. Feee parking facilitiy was great, with the train station a few minutes walking distance away. The only slight downside was the sofa bed was rather uncomfortable but the actual […] bed was fine. They could possibly do with more staff during the breakfast service has it was very busy on the 2nd morning we stayed. Would recommend this hotel if you are looking for somewhere to drop your bags, sleep have breakfast and then off to explore London. Would use this hotel again. Devamı

While not in a central location, this hotel was perfect for may needs with several restaurants within a few minutes walk (I highly recommend Woodies Cafe). The hotel is very clean and the breakfast is good with plenty of variety and useful for me the Apsley Train station just across the road.

clean but basic - the room provided all that was required for a one night stay but would be limited for much longer - not much clothes storage space and only one chair for two occupants. Parking outside was a problem - not enough spaces for all the occupants of the hotel, and even the disabled badge spaces were occupied wrongly by non-badge holders, […] though the hotel was unwilling to do anything about this. it would not be my first choice if another hotel was available. I stayed at the Express by Holiday Inn Hemel Hempstead at the weekend, and enjoyed a discount from the normal rate. Apart from having limited parking (which had to be paid for), the hotel was as I expected for this chain, being both comfortable and well maintained.

Wonderful base for business and overnight - close to London as a base for sights (but not too close) Close to local supermarkets to stay in the room and eat/drink yourself or pop to local pub, good food. Lovely Indian just down the road with great food, The Raja Would stay again

This Hotel is good for short stay visits. The Hotel staff are friendly and the rooms are a reasonable size. The shower was warm and there was soap available in the shower. There was a choice of pillow to use which was nice. Breakfast was a buffet of cereals, croissants, and egg on toast. Fruit and yoghurt and a variety of hot and cold drinks. Dejligt ophold i en lille hyggelig by. Med et tætliggende centrum, hvor der var rigtige gode shopping muligheder. Meget let at komme til London, hvilket var perfekt, da det egentlig var London vi gerne ville se.. Alt i alt rigtig godt ophold.

Super agréable... Londres est une ville très cherre, pour les petits budget il vaut mieux prendre un hôtel a l’extérieur de la ville sinon c'est la paye du mois qui y passe :)

Hôtel très agréable, calme et très bien situé, près d'une marina. Longer les berges après la visite de Londres (1/2 h en train) était très agréable. Chambre petite mais suffisante pour 2 adultes et deux enfants. Propre, claire. Un plus pour la bouilloire à disposition avec sticks café/thé ! Petits-déjeuners gratuits bien fournis et relativement bons. […] Personnel accueillant, parking gratuit. Que demander de plus ? La gare est vraiment juste à côté. Nous retournerons sans problème dans cet hôtel. En été, des tarifs intéressants sur les visites touristiques avec la carte travelcard qui combine train (de la gare de Apsley)et métro à volonté. Helt ok hotell. Bra förbindelse till London för oss som ville bo lite utanför centrala London. Hotellet ligger inte i Hemel Hempstead som det står utan i Apsley. Tågstationen på andra sidan av vägen. Hemel Hempstead på promenad avstånd ca 20 min . Nära hotellet ligger en stor Sainsbury, bra för oss barnfamiljer. Vi är en familj på 2 vuxna o 3 barn (3,9,11 […] år). Vi hade bokad ett rum för 4, tänkte att våran 3-åring får sova med oss vuxna i samma säng som i alla andra hotell som vi bott i, men vi var tvungna att boka ett till rum för brandsäkerhetens skull, jätte trevligt...Vi satt ju ändå på kvällarna i samma rum som familjer gör, inte var det nån som kollade. Semesterkassan blev ju lite mindre med ett till rum. Efter första natten hade städerskan varit o städat våra rum. Hon hade slängt iväg min mans rakgrejer, schampoo o kalsonger, hon trodde att de som bodde där hade checkat ut. Lite dålig kommunikation mellan städpersonalen o receptionisterna när städerskorna inte vet när folk har checkat ut. Vi använde ju det ena rummet till att bara sova i och i det andra rummet hade vi alla grejer o även sov i. Frukosten är ju inget att hurra för oss svenskar det enda salta var äggröra o engelska korvar, resten av frukosten bestod av söta saker. Man skulle väl kunnat ha lite ost o skinka iallafall. Devamı

Na een voorspoedige vliegreis ( 35 minuten ), Amsterdam Schiphol-Londen Luton,per trein afgereisd naar station Apsley , dat inderdaad 300 meter naast ons hotel lag. Het hotel ligt naast een woonwijk. Ondanks de kleine afstand tussen de spoorbaan en het hotel geen overlast van langsrazende treinen . Ook de vlak voor het hotel lopende doorgaande weg […] geeft geen hinder , dit ondanks het het feit dat wij een kamer aan de voorzijde van het hotel hadden. Het personeel is dienstbaar, met soms een ietwat stugge houding. Maar uiteindelijk toch de dienstbaarheid hoog in het vaandel. Onze hotelkamer was zeer netjes , na melding van een defecte waterkoker was deze direct gerepareerd. Sanitair was netjes en voldoende handdoeken aanwezig. Bij de receptie kosteloos een kluisje kunnen gebruiken. Onze eerste dag met de trein vanaf Apsley station richting Londen Euston vertrokken. Per trein met een half uurtje op station Londen Euston en vandaar uit de stad per bus of lopend bezocht. Wij hadden een tweedaagse combi kaart op station Apsley gekocht . De dame bij het loket was erg behulpzaam en vriendelijk. De combi kaart was geldig op de trein-bus en metro in Londen ( zes zones)... Aanrader !!!! Min punt tijdens ons verblijf in het hotel; tijdens het ontbijt weing keus c.q variatie in brood beleg. Wij misten vlees/kaasbeleg Devamı
