This hotel was across lake from Bellagio, but ferry takes you right there. It was a little worn, but that is Italy. We were getting into off season so it was quieter. Loved location--close to Mennaggio. Breakfast was more than just cold meats, etc. Hot items and all was very good. We were very satisfied with the room and the price.

Excellent view of Bellagio and lake Como from balcony. Convenient location; very close to everything including restaurants and fairy. Very helpful friendly front desk service. Very clean. Make sure to reserve a Lake –view room, the view worths every penny. I recommend this hotel and area for all ages .

After reading the previous reviews, we decided to take a chance and book the Hotel Bazzoni, considering the time of year (Spring) we would be there. We were pleasantly surprised that they have updated the rooms with double-glazed windows to help cut out street noise and installed room air-conditioners which we did not use. In fact, we left the window […] open for fresh air and were not bothered by the street noise. The bathrooms were clean with updated fixtures. We tried out 3 restaurants next to the hotel and they were all good. The Acacia had the nicest decor and ambiance for a romantic dinner by candlelight. The breakfasts at the hotel were great. The old-world charm of the furnishings were what you'd expect visiting Italy. Devamı

I wouldnt recommend this hotel to anyone unless you are a fan of brocoli smell and dark rooms. As soon as we arrived and walked into the entrance there was a distinct smell of some form of cooking. Went to the room was dark and dingy, there was a huge fly tryong to escape outside the balcony doors and the smell was in the room. Furniture etc old fashioned. […] We complained about the smell and was offered another room but we were already on the 3rd floor and the smell was there, so left and didnt stay. Wouldnt recommend to anyone. Plus no parking available you had to drive around trying to search for parking. Devamı

A hotel from the belle epoque - the service was great. We needed two cots and the hotel arranged for them to be in place before we arrived. The staff were all very helpful and pleasant and the location is great, on the waterfront and right next door to the ferry landing. The price we paid was amply justified.

Don't even think about staying there. Tiny and dark room looking into a concrete wall. No where to park and no positive assistance from staff.

Great room for the money. We had 4 twin beds. Very convenient location to restaurants, ferries, and boat rentals. Walking distance to Villa Carlotta. The room was comfortable but no AC. We were there in summer and with the windows open it was quite comfortable anyway. Would definitely recommend.

At the price I expected the hotel to have a few amities that any other 3 star would have. This hotel did not have air conditioning, no place to park your car or even internet access. The staff was not particularly friendly and although the hotel is right on the lake it was very inconvenient having a park (publicly) 600 meters from the hotel. Because […] there was no a/c we had to leave the window open all night. The result? we paid for an excellent view of the lake but got all the noise of passing traffic in front of the hotel. Wonderful clean and nice Hotel . But with the Hotel so close to the read its impossible to really get some hood sleep and with no aircondition...it becomes a low score.. The staff could also use some improvement they hardly understood english. But...a nice hote and they are putting in airconditions to next year :)

Nice, cozy, affordable hotel. Family room had limited lake view, but ok. When asked, hotel offered late checkout (5pm) for extra 30€ which was fine with us.

The Hotel was far better than I expected considering the price we paid. Very reasonable indeed. The location was excellent, the rooms clean and the lakeside view was stunning. The ferry port and bus stop are literally outside the hotel which is very convenient. The staff were very helpful in providing us with information also. Furthermore, the breakfasts […] which were provided had huge choice and were good quality. The only criticism which I would have is the heat in the bedroom. The air conditioning units did not work and the floor standing fan which was provided was ineffective in reducing the heat. In the evenings it was actually cooler outside than it was inside. This hotel had beautiful views! The staff was friendly. The only complaint we had was that the beds were old and uncomfortable, otherwise we would stay here again.

Excellent view of the Lake from this hotel. Helpful & friendly professional staff. Room is antique style decor. Felt like we were staying in a grand villa. Buffet breakfast excellent food & great choice. Very highly recommended.

The hotel is a 1 hour bus ride from the Como train station and town of Lake Como. The hotel sits on the edge of the busy road that circles the lake, so a lake view room also means a room overlooking the roars of the highway. We had to change rooms in order to get some sleep. Overall decor is an Italian-style, ComfortInn. Regarding customer service, […] the staff didn't even clue us in that you could take a 30-minute, high-speed water taxi (located steps from the hotel) to get back to the station the next morning when we asked for directions about where to buy our return, 1-hour bus tickets. Before arriving in Lake Como, we had already been in Rome and Florence. This was the best hotel and best experience of the whole trip. The staff was friendly and very helpful. We had a room with a balcony and a beautiful view of the lake. We could not have asked for more for the price!!! We arrived at the train S. Giovanni train station in Como. From […] there, you either have to take a taxi or bus to Tremezzo on Lake Como. We took the bus. We paid only a few euros for the hour bus trip to our hotel. It is well worth the bus ride because the taxi would have been 8 times as much as the bus tickets. We had to take an extremely early bus back to the train station to make our next destination. The hotel staff helped us with the bus schedule and even printed it for us. We had dined at the Red and White Cafe/Ristorante the whole time we were in Tremezzo. It had really great food, affordable prices and the most friendly staff. I highly recommend this restaurant during your stay at this hotel. Devamı

Forvent ikke mere end 3 stjerner. Vi havde bestilt familieværelse til 4 pers. Ankom sent og fik formodentligt det absolutte sidste værelse ved siden af elevator og med en ramponeret dør - så forventningerne var allerede lave. Værelser er rene og egentlig ok indrettet, der trænger dog til en ny gang maling af alle vægge, som er slidte og beskidte. Fik […] andet værelse dag 2 - og var klart bedre med seperat delte værelse og stort badeværelse, balkon mod søen - helt fantastisk. Hôtel très bien situé face à l'office de tourisme et de l'embarcadère des lignes régulières. Belle terrasse de la chambre. Il n'y a rien à voir à Tremezzo mais les sites touristiques intérressants sont très proches en bateau ou en voiture. En plus piscine et fitness pour ceux que ça intéresse.

Prima hotel, schone kamers, mooie ligging, prijs/kwaliteitverhouding goed. Jammer dat de parkeerplaats een eind verderop is.

Un hôtel un peu désuet, qui mériterait un rafraichissement. La vue est par contre très belle. L'accueil sans grande chaleur mais un assez bon rapport qualité/prix.

La vue absolument superbe de la (grande) terrasse de la chambre, la qualité du buffet du petit déjeuner, la propreté de la chambre et un rapport qualité-prix correct font oublier l'aspect désuet et assez mal entretenu de l'hôtel. En particulier, la piscine et les jardins situés à l'arrière de l'hôtel sont peu engageants mais ont toutefois le mérite […] d'exister, ce qui n'est pas le cas de la plupart des hôtels de cette catégorie dans la région ! Das Hotel liegt an einer lauten stark befahrenen Strasse. Die Ausstattung ist sehr alt und heruntergekommen. Das Personal an der Rezeption ist sehr unfreundlich. Das Frühstück ist sehr einfallslos. God beliggenhed til bådture, køreture m.v. Dejlig morgenmad, og meget sødt personale. Poolen er dejligt placeret bag hotellet med små hyggelige grønne områder. Hotellet kan varmt anbefales.

typiskt 3stjärnigt hotell, har säkert varit ett fint hotell en gång i tiden men känns slitet nu,frukosten ok, utnyttjade inte poolen då det inte var så fint som det såg ut på bilden, kan vara lite svårt att ta sig dit från como, bussarna från den stationen vi anlände till kom inte så vi fick ta en taxi för 80 euro, själva tremezzo och vyerna däromkring […] är fantastiska Devamı

Nachdem die Bewertungen für dieses Hotel von ganz schlecht bis total super angegeben wurden, war ich sehr gespannt darauf es live zu erleben. Das Hotel liegt im günstigeren Varenna (Bellagio ist schon um einiges schöner, aber eben teurer). Alles in allem ok und gutes Preis/Leistungsverhältnis. Sehr kleiner TV (ca. 25 cm Durchmesser) und kein deutscher […] Kanal - aber man ist ja nicht zum fernsehen in der Ferne... Devamı

I do no recommend it. We wanted to change room immediately, the room was situated like a kitchen. No sound isolation at all! In the early morning, the cleaning staff made unbearable noise. Rooms are sad, no decoration, etc. One of our worst hotel experience!

Einziger nachteil am Hotel ist , das kein Autoparkplätze vorhanden sind. Man muss ca. 500m entfernt Parkieren.Ansonsten hat es vor dem Hotel Gebührenpflichtige Parkplätze.

We booked this hotel the end of July, for a stay of 7 nights in August for an unbeatable price. I already read the mixed comments regarding this hotel and knew what we were up to. We're a young couple that would like to get the most of our vacation, so our intention was to stay in the hotel mainly for sleeping, breakfast and some occasional lingering. […] For this purpose, the hotel is perfect: very competitive rates, friendly and helpful staff, a (small) swimming pool, pretty central location. From the hotel it's easy to reach the beautiful villages Bellagio and Varenna via the ferry and Menaggio via bus or tourist train. Villa Carlotta with its beautiful garden is only a 5 minutes walk. It also has a lot of restaurants nearby, so there's plenty of choice to have dinner or lunch. The downside though ... Our room was located at the backside of the hotel and was very poorly isolated: we could hear every guest walking in the hall and our side and upper/lower neighbors. It was also frustrating that at around 8am the staff was driving a towel trolley at the backside, it woke us up every time ... There's no free parking right in front of the building, you'll need to walk a few minutes to Villa Carlotta for the free parking. The swimming pool is only 1.2m deep. We had a very nice holiday at Lake Como and for the price we paid, the stay was more than worth it, but in the future we would book a more up to date hotel that is not that prone to surrounding noises. Hotellet har ingen egen parkering och närmaste parkering ligger 600 meter därifrån. Hotellet behöver en rejäl renovering, sängarna är hårda och "utliggna" (åtminstone i mitt rum). Har tre dagar efter vistelsen fortfarande nackspärr. Frukosten är som i övriga hotell i Italien sparsam. Poolområdet skulle kunna vara fantastiskt bra samt solterrassen, tyvärr […] är det mycket slitet. Badstolarna har inga madrasser och ingen bar finns. Det positiva är egentligen bara utsikten och läget vid Comosjön. I Sverige skulle hotellet kanske nätt och jämt fått 2 stjärnor. Devamı

Nach unserer späten Anreise haben wir ein Zimmer erhalten was eine bessere Besenkammer war! Es war klein, hat extrem modrig gerochen, da die Möbel und das Bad sehr alt waren. Dazu hatte unser Laken einen Blutfleck! Auf dem Laken darunter war an exakt der gleichen Stelle exakt der gleiche Blutfleck. Wurden die Betten überhaupt frisch bezogen? Als wir […] uns darüber beschwerten wurde uns ein neues Laken in die Hände gedrückt und wir durften unser Bett selber beziehen. Der Boden war dreckig, der Safe nicht abschliessbar, also quasi unbenutzbar, und das Bett war klapprig. Unser Zimmer war nach hinten raus und leider nur mit einem Blick auf eine Mauer, soweit man das durch das Milchglasfenster überhaupt erkennen konnte. Pool und Liegewiese sahen nicht gerade einladend aus und es waren kaum genug Liegestühle für alle Gäste vorhanden. Bei unserer Abreise wurden wir noch gefragt ob wir etwas aus der Minibar hatten. Bonjour, nous avons passé un séjour très agréable dans cet hôtel. Les prestations sont super (chambre sympa, petit déjeuner buffet très bien servi, vue sur le lac, piscine pour la fin de journée...). Le personnel est vraiment très gentil. L'hôtel est situé en face d'un arrêt navette (bateau pour Bellagio en 7mn). A recommander.

Hotellet er ok og poolen er fin. Hotellet ligger flot ud til vandet. Men hold jeg langt væk fra dette hotel hvis I ikke ønsker en nat uden søvn pga. bilstøj og varme. Morgenmaden var dog fin. helt ulidelig varmt om natten!!!

My advice is: reconsider accommodation in this hotel! I was so stupid that I booked & paid my stay in there in advance. I was travelling along so first I got a tiny little room where wasn't even enough place for my shoes...Then I got "the last available room" but that was in the cellar without windows u could see through! Sure there was a breakfast […] buffet - well, it was rather okay but staff's main responsibility was to make sure u won't be ably to enjoy it! By that I mean that u were not allowed to take even your cafe outside to the balcony, so near but so faraway :( Tremezzo and the surrounding it self was basically just few shops and 4-5 different restaurants. bon rapport qualité prix trés bien au printemp proche de la trés belle maison Carlota à ne pas manquer et à 2 pas de l'arret des bateaux qui vous font faire le tour des principaux villages voisin avec un ticket unique pour la journée

Large,comfortable hotel, although air condition would have been nice as it was humid Nice view from the roof patio. Parking was public, although free it was at least 1km away. Large choice for breakfast.

Vi besøgte hotellet i juli måned i 28-30 graders varme, hvilket betød at værelserne var stort set ubeboelige pga. manglende aircondition.
