The best thing about this hotel is the service. They are always very considerate, and usually come to the room on service calls within a few minutes. The people in the restaurant are also very pleasant.

Our new years eve stay started out way too stressful. Arriving around 5 pm, the line for valet was still down the street, even after I checked into our room my husband was still waiting to park and was told to stay in the car and wait for valet (the only parking option). Forty minutes later I had to go down to the parking lot and TELL the valet manager […] that we were taking an open slot we spotted. Period. It is a shame I had to be pushy just to get a parking spot. After all that we were told there was a public lot just a block away and that the parking fee would be refunded, and that they have the same problem every year.... A lot of people were angry because they were stuck in the lot, couldn't leave to find other parking, valet was not moving cars to the public lot (which after multiple years of the same issue seems like a very simple fix to negotiate parking overflow with the alternate lots owner.... I mean... Duh!!) and being told to sit and wait for open slots. Very poor managent on the valets part. The hotel was very nice, everything as expected, a little noisy from the street (even on 6th floor). The restaurant Dine was great for dinner and breakfast. Nice Greek Town location. Safe neighborhood and lots of parking and restaurants. Hotel even had 2 upscale looking places to eat. One seemed to be more of a lounge. I didn't get a chance to eat at either, but will definitely try next time. Also, hotel is right across the street from a Walgreens, which is super convenient.

The people at the desk are just incredible!! So professional and yet very understanding and personable. Never had a better experience at a hotel in this way. Truly.

It was great.nice atmosphere and the price is very affordable

I wish the coffee pot was heated and more outlets for computers and chargers. Less charge for parking because prices are so high, otherwise it was great.

Upon arriving at the hotel we were greeted by valet drivers who angrily told us to move out of the way. Once inside the front desk attendant was extremely rude and uninterested in us as guests, most likely because we are college students, but it shouldn't matter how old the guest is, just the fact that they are paying customers means they get equal […] treatment. The room had a nice view and was easily within walking distance, but other than that it's not worth the price considering Icpuld have stayed closer into the city for the same price. Also there was no mention that the parking was a forced valet charge. Be cautious of this hotel if you are staying here. Devamı

Handy for Union Station - about 15 mins walk. Supermarket and pharmacy opposite and good selection of restaurants and bars two blocks away on Randolph. Only downside - it's next to the expressway so there's constant sound of traffic.

The hotel was very efficient a big plus was they allowed us to check in two hours early.

Overall, the hotel was nice. I liked the balcony. We had a suite and it was REALLY small. Valet was very slow and the bell boy took forever. Not sure if I would return. We needed a cot and there was no room for a cot in a suite. Plus there was an additional charge for a cot and refrigerator.

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Crowne Plaza Chicago Metro while attended a music festival at Union Park. The location was great for us; a 20 minute walk past small shops and restaurants took us right to the festival. There's a grocery store right across from the hotel, which was also very convenient. The room was very clean and comfortable, and the […] balcony was also very much enjoyed! The rooms are stylish but still very homey. Although this hotel is not in the heart of downtown, the location is in a nice area and is a short cab or metro ride to anywhere you'd want to go! I recommend this hotel to travelers. My only complaints are the extra cost of having a refrigerator in the room and a $36 a night parking fee! Devamı

My stay at this hotel was a pleasant one...upon arriving the staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was reallly comfortable and I slept great, which is rare for me during a hotel stay. The restaurant was a little pricey, but the food was worth every penny...it was delicious.

Very nice building. Excellent staff. Good restaurant. Far from loop. fair price due to location.

Was staying in the city for a Britney Spears concert at the United Center. Close to tons of hip restaurants and bars in the West Loop and River North. Had an awesome corner room view with a spectacular balcony overlooking the Loop and River North. Hotel service was friendly and brought us up a bottle opener and straws for our pre-party cocktails. Linens […] were not luxurious but sufficient and clean. Nice spacious shower with a Rain shower-head. Decor was contemporary and modern. Fast WiFi. Only thing I disliked was finding parking, but thankfully with being used to parking in Chicago, we found a parking lot a few blocks south on Harrison and Des Planes for only $17 (24hrs) versus the $36 the hotel charges to park it a few feet in front of you. Also the coffee cups in the hotel were dirty... so double check those. If staying here, I recommend a corner room on a high floor. Eat at Beer Bistro (a block or two before Ashland on Madison) - great pizza and large microbrew draft choices! If going to United Center, walk it in 15 to 20 mins or cab it in 4 min! Dominicks is right across the street at the Skybridge is you run outta libations or just need a snack. Starbucks is a block away to help perk the morning up! Grant Park and Lake Michigan are about a 30 min walk so take a cab, bus, or enjoy the stroll through the Loop. UIC is close so lots of students and hipster. Pilsen is only a short cab away for some real Mexican culture. Can't find a better, centrally located hotel for the price in this area of Chicago! Devamı

What a wonderful place. great employees and great rooms at a reasonable rate!

I wasn't sure about where to stay in Chicago because this was my first trip there. I saw the reasonable price and great location of the Crowne Plaza Metro on hotels.com and decided to take my chances. I was not let down. The staff was friendly and helpful. The neighborhood around the hotel was clean and pretty, and we had a beutiful view of downtown […] Chicago. I will definitely return to the Crowne Plaza Metro on my next trip to Chicago. Devamı

The location was excellent. Especially liked having a grocery store across the street and a Walgreens behind. Seems when you travel you always forget something. There are a number of restaurants near by, along with one in the hotel. Your only about 8 blocks from Willsi (Sears) Tower and just a couple further is the L train. This was a good hotel-once agian chosen because it is close to the Amtrak stations. The gym is a bit of a downer but I did not spend much time there. The bar and restaurant attached are good-I spent too much time there.

I waws there only a short time but enjoyed the hotel and surrounding things to do. It was a business trip so could not enjoy all things that were in Chicago.

We asked prior to arriving about a car from the amtrak, we were told you do not have one so we took a cab. Upon arrival we saw the hotel shuttle in the parking lot????? The wi-fi signal did not work. Staff answering phones we not polite or helpful The staff who helped us with out bags and getting us a cab in the morning were most excellent, in fact […] they made up for the lack of service in other areas. This was the only hotel in the Chicago city limits that had any availability for a last minute business trip. For the price I paid a night, I was very disappointed. I got a corner room right next to the highway, so close that I was able to wave to commuters. It was very small, very little space to move around. The wireless internet didn't work and when […] I called the front desk about it, they said that the corner rooms usually do not get good signals. When I asked to move, they said that there was nothing available. The ethernet cord for the wired internet was broken. Bathroom was very small, little to no counterspace for all of the 'necessities' that are needed to travel with. Room amenities are limited. Honestly I would have moved hotels, and tried to, but there was no availability in the city due to many other conventions and festivals during that time. LIke I said, it served its purpose as a place to lay my head down for the night but I'm thankful by trip was only 3 nights. Devamı

Nice place. Restaurant was a bit pricey with a short menu. Staff was polite and helpful.

Great location, not far from public transport. Frequent service to shopping and major attractions. Excellent restaurants in the surrounding area.

I was only in Chicago for one night and needed a hotel with a convenient location. The Metro was suggested to me, and I am glad I followed my client's recommendation. Though not a boutique hotel, and while perhaps lacking in the unique personality of more expensive concept hotel, the Crowne Plaza Metro was impeccable, comfortable, conveniently located […] and rather enjoyable. The staff was professional and friendly, the room was comfortable and relaxing, and I have no complaints. Anyone looking for a well-priced, pleasant hotel right on the edge of Greektown will enjoy staying there. Bonus: If you have a car, the outside parking is as convenient as the hotel's location right next to a main artery. Devamı

I was very pleased with the hotel. It was centrally located for what I needed and in a nice neighbor hood with several restaraunts to choose from within walking distance. It had valet only parking which I didn't know until we got there. This added an expense I wasn't planning. He parked my car about 20 ft from where we were standing. There wasn't a […] huge demand for parking there either, so I was kind of dissappointed in this. Across the street there is a pay lot, which I didn't see until later. Devamı

Like the free internet. Very good gym. Decent location. I was able to walk to the train station. Excellent location to Greek Town. Not to close to downtown but close enough to walk it if given sufficient time.

Room was very small, not what I expected. Bathroom was not kept up very well and was extremely small. Sink was facing a corner with no mirror straight on, just to both sides, with a very dim light on just one side, so shaving and getting ready was next to impossible. We had a corner room that overlooked the highway and it was very noisy all night long. Not all the plugs in the room worked, and there was very little room to move around. On the plus side the location was very convenient and the neighborhood was delightful.

The rooms are very small for 4 adults. Hotel is overall old and looks run down, especially the hallways. Beds are quite uncomfortable. Tub did not drain but when I complained the front desk took my parking off the bill ($36), so the service was great! We stayed here because of the proximity to the United center (quick cab ride away). There is a grocery […] store (Dominick's) across the street which is open 24 hours and that is very convenient. For this purpose it was fine but I don't play on staying here again. Devamı
