Crowne Plaza Chicago Metro - Chicago

I waws there only a short time but enjoyed the hotel and surrounding things to do. It was a business trip so could not enjoy all things that were in Chicago.

We asked prior to arriving about a car from the amtrak, we were told you do not have one so we took a cab. Upon arrival we saw the hotel shuttle in the parking lot????? The wi-fi signal did not work. Staff answering phones we not polite or helpful The staff who helped us with out bags and getting us a cab in the morning were most excellent, in fact […] they made up for the lack of service in other areas. Restaurant is not on the same wavelength as the bar it is attached to. We would probably not stay here again. Devamı

This was the only hotel in the Chicago city limits that had any availability for a last minute business trip. For the price I paid a night, I was very disappointed. I got a corner room right next to the highway, so close that I was able to wave to commuters. It was very small, very little space to move around. The wireless internet didn't work and when […] I called the front desk about it, they said that the corner rooms usually do not get good signals. When I asked to move, they said that there was nothing available. The ethernet cord for the wired internet was broken. Bathroom was very small, little to no counterspace for all of the 'necessities' that are needed to travel with. Room amenities are limited. Honestly I would have moved hotels, and tried to, but there was no availability in the city due to many other conventions and festivals during that time. LIke I said, it served its purpose as a place to lay my head down for the night but I'm thankful by trip was only 3 nights. Devamı

Nice place. Restaurant was a bit pricey with a short menu. Staff was polite and helpful.

Great location, not far from public transport. Frequent service to shopping and major attractions. Excellent restaurants in the surrounding area.

I was only in Chicago for one night and needed a hotel with a convenient location. The Metro was suggested to me, and I am glad I followed my client's recommendation. Though not a boutique hotel, and while perhaps lacking in the unique personality of more expensive concept hotel, the Crowne Plaza Metro was impeccable, comfortable, conveniently located […] and rather enjoyable. The staff was professional and friendly, the room was comfortable and relaxing, and I have no complaints. Anyone looking for a well-priced, pleasant hotel right on the edge of Greektown will enjoy staying there. Bonus: If you have a car, the outside parking is as convenient as the hotel's location right next to a main artery. Devamı

I was very pleased with the hotel. It was centrally located for what I needed and in a nice neighbor hood with several restaraunts to choose from within walking distance. It had valet only parking which I didn't know until we got there. This added an expense I wasn't planning. He parked my car about 20 ft from where we were standing. There wasn't a […] huge demand for parking there either, so I was kind of dissappointed in this. Across the street there is a pay lot, which I didn't see until later. Devamı

Like the free internet. Very good gym. Decent location. I was able to walk to the train station. Excellent location to Greek Town. Not to close to downtown but close enough to walk it if given sufficient time.

Room was very small, not what I expected. Bathroom was not kept up very well and was extremely small. Sink was facing a corner with no mirror straight on, just to both sides, with a very dim light on just one side, so shaving and getting ready was next to impossible. We had a corner room that overlooked the highway and it was very noisy all night long. Not all the plugs in the room worked, and there was very little room to move around. On the plus side the location was very convenient and the neighborhood was delightful.

The rooms are very small for 4 adults. Hotel is overall old and looks run down, especially the hallways. Beds are quite uncomfortable. Tub did not drain but when I complained the front desk took my parking off the bill ($36), so the service was great! We stayed here because of the proximity to the United center (quick cab ride away). There is a grocery […] store (Dominick's) across the street which is open 24 hours and that is very convenient. Very interesting to learn that PlayBoy was shooting a film upon our arrival on Friday afternoon and I thought that was the coolest thing ever. Very coveniently located as it was close to all of our sight-seeing adventures. The only bad thing about the stay is the room was cold and you could not adjust the temperature. When I got there everything was great. My only issue is that the mandatory valet that was $40 a night. As i parked my car to check in the valet attendant kept hassling me about my car and how long I would be. I went outside and moved my car to the lot next door for $20 a night and didn't deal with them for the rest of the trip. I would highly encourage this hotel! Great location and super quiet.

Very nice hotel, close to everything we needed to go to and convenient to downtown. The employees made you feel at home and that was a plus.

We booked this hotel for 2 nights while we saw Bon Jovi at the United Center. It is the closest hotel and a straight shot down the road from the United Center. All staff were very polite. They even kept the restaurant open an hour later due to the concert. Room was comfortable and has everything you need. Having a balcony view was great. Walgreens right […] around the corner and so is Dominick's. It is only $5-$8 cab fare to get anywhere from this hotel. Will stay here again! Devamı

Late check out appreciated. Not much to do at night

everything was great except the bar manager. we were told the bar served food until 11pm and closed at midnight. we put our order in with the bar tender at 10:47, only to find out that the kitchen was already closed. the bar tender was very sorry, but the manager was rude and obnoxious. instead of coming to us and informing us that there was no food […] order, he started ranting and raving outloud in front of everyone at the bar, then called the front desk to complain to him for telling us it stays open until 11pm (which the sign clearly stated). he had terrible customer service skills, i have no idea how he keeps his job. Overall the hotel was nice for what I needed it for which was a place close to the office. The tv didn't have cable and the menu for roomservice was extremely limited.There was no mini fridge or mini bar. The hotel exceeded my expectations.I will likely stay again.

The lobby smelled amazing in preparation for the holiday season! It was nice that it was in Greektown, the hotel restaurant did not offer a wide variety of dining selections.

This is the second visit we have had there and we are very happy with the experience. Will for sure stay there again when visiting Chicago.

They let us check in early, which was great since we had a cub game at noon. They were very helpful at the desk, and very good location, right across the street is a grocery store, and it is right off the interstate. It was very nice inside the rooms, very clean and updated. We did have a problem with the air conditioning in one of the rooms, but the […] maintenance person took care of it within 30 minutes. And we never got a rollaway bed that was requested, although it didn't matter all that much. Parking was a bit excessive at $36 a night, but it was nice to have the car right there. Devamı

We had a nice stay. The only thing that we were not please with was housekeeping knocking on our door starting at 8 a.m. on Saturday morning and continuing to come back every 1/2 hour

Be prepared to pay an extremely high price for parking your car in the hotel parking lot. I think my car got a better nights sleep than I did.

Got our hotel room and they gave us our keys for the room. We walk in and there is a guy in our hotel room....SLEEPING! they had double booked the room. We were upset. We went back down and got another hotel room. did we get upgraded or anything? HA! we got 2 drink tickets for the mix up. I am under 21 and my fiance' doesn't drink. Thanks a ton!

We chose this hotel because it is very close to the nightlife attractions. I couldn't be more pleased! The price was very affordable and was extremely nice inside. The beds were very comfortable!! The staff was very kind to us during our stay.

the staff was great with helping find restaurants and with getting directions. I was however charged for local calls that I assumed were free, but when I went to the desk and told them they removed the charges.

ROOM WAS SMALL BUT CLEAN AND NICELY DECORATED. BEDDING WAS COMFORTABLE. WE WOULD STAY AGAIN.

The first room had an odor and I was moved to a different room. The coffee maker had crumbs in the water tank and the hotel never fixed it. Also, I could smell smoke on the non-smoking floor. Location of the hotel was good and the surrounding neighborhood was good.

Hotel on MAJOR expressway. There is highway noise. Rooms Great. Staff Great. Lobby Great. $36 parking? In Greektown? Many lots available if u have a car.
