Spend the weekend and for the money it was above expectations. Clean, Wonderful Bed and Friendly Staff.

The hotel staff was great. The room was nice..only small critque would be crack in shower lining. Other than that it was great

After we had checked in two other people came into our room which they were given a key. There was much confusion. This should have been a clue that we should have checked out, but we didn't we were very tired after driving 10 hours. The frig was so noisy that we had to shut off even though we wanted to store some things in it. We were told nothing […] could be done until Monday. The fan in bathroom was making a noise all night we had to keep bathroom door closed because of noise, then the last straw we discovered that our door did not need to have a key to open If you just pushed the handle down it would open, since there was no one to help with maintence until monday we did not tell desk person. The young man was very polite. We would never again stay in this hotel and will pass the word on. Jo Ann Devamı

My husband & i enjoyed our stay., for 3 nights. comfortable , and good value. We have stayed there before , approx 3 times.

Very nice hotel beds were on the firm side ok with me but made the wife uncomfortable

This hotel was very nice. The staff was friendly, courteous and extremely helpful.

This hotel was very reasonable, clean and friendly . We were very pleased with the service and stayed for a few days the week after our cruise. A+++++

Than you might expect. Certainly clean and has all the comforts, (pool, computer, lobby breakfast) that you would hope for. The maintainance of the breakfast counter was not very consciencious. Other than that a real value for the money.

The nicest place with the nicest staff!

This place is nice, but if you book thru hotels.com, be prepared to put down a 100 cash deposit. they will hold it on another card, but that could take them up to 10 days to put back onto your card.... we had a mishap with some makeup, and were told we would be charged 10 dollars for soiling the handtowel that was grey from my makeup (which is all natural […] and comes out with a good detergent and water). The front desk people were nice save the night girl/woman who seemed to be annoyed she has to work there. the morning staff are fabulous, and much more helpful!~ Devamı

We have stayed at several places here, but this hotel really cares. The all employees are great and the rooms perfect! The breakfast is top quality and the beds and pillows soft and comfortable. Marlene, Katy, Angel, Bobbi, and Ryan will do everything to make you happy! And Kurt is BEST! Stay here, NOT Days Inn!!!!

Three problems - Toilet ran all night in 120 - No hangers in 118 - TV in lobby (right outside 118) was on LOUD until about 3AM. Would reccomend with reservations.

All was just fine. Nice & Clean & comfortable for the price. I would have Preferred to have a table lamp on the night stand vs light on the wall over t bed.

Price fairly for quality. Friendly staff and very clean . The single room that I had was a bit small everything else was ok

Awesome place to stay and a super value! Highly recommend. Several places to eat at near by. Cold a/c, free wifi, flat panel TV with lots of channels are some of the amenities.....oh yeah and breakfast!

Very nice staff, clean rooms and lobby. Weak wi-fi signal. Central location on Tamiami Tr. made it easy to get to surrounding areas.

I really was pleased with how pleasant the front desk staff was. The property was well maintained and the room was immaculant. I plan on staying at Microtel when I return to Florida.

Room was small but I wasnt there to hang in the room. Its was a nice place to stay for a great price. I will be back in a month and will chose this hotel again. Wish I would have chosen this hotel when i first arrived. Only talked with 2 employees and both were very nice i would recommend this place to anyone.

this was my first time to Port charlotte fl and my first stay at a microtek. upon my arrival i notice how beautiful the parking lot looked, followed by the friendliness of the front desk clerk. the room was very comfortable, clean and accommodating. i called back home and told my relatives that the hotel was a pleasant surprise and i can;t wait for […] the next stay. This was fairly new and therefore everything was working, places were clean and such. Surrounding neighborhood was roads and the close by shop we ended did have only few articles at shelves. We had to go to another shop for supper. So for overnight stay this is fairly good place, but without doubt there are cheaper places, but they are most likely […] also older. Over all it was a lovely place to stay in. Guest and Management were very friendly. Place was nice and clean. Only have two complaints, the internet wasn't strong enough to keep a connection and the Computer in the lobby wouldn't connect to the internet either. Management was very courteous to print my plane ticket for my flight the day before I was […] to leave. I really enjoyed that the air condition controls were on the wall rather the unit itself. Flat screen television on placed on the wall instead of placed on top of a cabinet. I had a great stay and will use them again. Devamı

good location to beaches,shops and restaurants.Adequate breakfast,great staff,good pool area.If 2 adults travelling together suggest you book larger room or suite.A great stay for the price paid

walked in to a very very dirty lobby!! Smelling like cigarettes, dirty laundry on the front desk floor! We asked for a non smoking room and the room and hallways smelled like cigarettes! Bathtub cloged! I had no choice but to stay since we checked in late! Left very early the next morning! Never again!! :{{

This hotel was close enough to the airport for us to stop and get a good night's sleep, a free basic breakfast in the morning and get on our way. Rooms are small, but they have everything you need. It was nice and clean. Bob Evan's is right across the street among other mid-range restaurants. I would stay here again.

My family and I had a wonderful stay here. Very clean hotel and comfortable beds. Lots of nearby restaurants and about 10 minutes away from Charlotte Sports Park. Very nice staff as well. My mom almost started a fire in the continental breakfast microwave and the staff was very kind regarding the incident.

It was a very nice motel. We had no problems at all. The staff were very friendly. They had a great complimentary breakfast in the morning. I only had to stay one night but would definitely stay there again.

Microtels are based on a European concept of efficient room use, and these rooms are like that, which is fine for a night or two, as that's what they're designed for. This room was also reasonably well-appointed, with a coffee maker, iron/board and decent-sized flat-screen tv. The downrating is because the chair in the room was in desperate need or […] cleaning (or better, replacing), and the surface of the desk had something like glue stuck on the surface that created bubbles. None of it was terrible, and for the one night I was there, I was willing to live with it, but it wasn't great--if you're a picky hotel guest, this is not the place for you. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, and had I not been checking in late with a lot to do, I'm sure they would have worked with me to find another room without those drawbacks, but for me the basic suitability of the room and its furnishings as-is at check-in is a sign of how seriously the hotel takes the mission of hospitality. I would stay there again because it was relatively inexpensive, but they need to do a bit of work to get an unqualified endorsement, even at that price. Devamı

not looking for anything fancy, just a place to sleep along the trip from tampa to fort lauderdale. A little off the main drag, but once you get there it's clean and comfortable.

My son and I drove to Port Charlotte from Cleveland, OH to visit my grandsons. Frankly, we chose Microtel because of its affordable rates, but we were not sure what to expect. Imagine our surprise when we arrived after a full day of driving to receive a warm reception and find a truly inviting and comfortable room. The beds had soft pillows and pillowtop […] matress pads. Nothing fancy, but clean and small room. Perfect place to stay when visting Port Charlotte for Tampa Rays Spring Training games. Walls were a bit thin and hallways noisy when traffic in the halls. I would stay here again.

The hotel was easy to find, clearly fairly newly built and well maintained, Of the three hotels we stayed in for our trip this was the best and the beds were the most comfortable. Don't choose the hotel for the free breakfast though - it was nothing special. Great value overall. Great little local bar "Gatorz" within walking distance.
