Roganstown Golf and Country Club Hotel - Swords

It was totaly wonderful. The price was really reasonable and we were not expecting that much quality and good service. The staff were all kind and they were all very welcome. The hotel was very clean and comfortable. When I go back to Dublin I will definetly stay there again. It was more than what we were expecting.

Spacious golf and spa hotel about 15 mins from airport. Friendly and helpful staff in reception, restaurant and spa. Great gym and swimming pool. Roomy accommodation with the usual refinements. Could do with a map on website showing route/roundabouts etc from airport although reception very helpful in providing directions during our stay. Lovely stay close to airport but not close enough to hear planes. Free access to pool, gym,sauna,steam room and jacussi. Had a very nice meal in restaurant, although a bit on the expensive side. Hotel provided complimentary shuttle service to airport and reasonable parking fee. lovely rural setting, well maintained gardens and golf course, but within minutes of local town, shops and restaurants. friendly helpful staff, nice food, good pool ans spa facilities

I would suggest would be travellers to avoid this hotel.We were disappointed with the response and attitude of management and staff when some valuables went missing from our room during our stay. What was meant to be an enjoyable mid week break to attend a wedding was overshadowed by this incident.It is not a four star hotel by any standard. Food The […] breakfast was very poor ,a continental for €10, consisted of cereal ,cold toast, mini pastries ,some cheese slices and two unappetising ham slices which looked like sundays leftovers ,plus the milk was sour on two occasions. We chose the full Irish the next day which was inedible as it was lukewarm ,the bacon and sausages were tastless (perhaps the 5% pork variety) , warm orange juice from a carton not fresh. The staff at the bar were rude and unhelpful ,i was asked if i was going to finish my drink in a very abrupt manner when i went out for a ciggarette on my first day there.The drinks were completely overpriced €6.90 for a gin and tonic when i asked the barman how this broke down he simply stated its the same price everywhere ,i was shocked .We only ate their once and the food was very basic far from what you would expect in a four star hotel. Rooms The bedrooms were not cleaned everyday only the bed was made up and clean towels left in. I moved the bed to find it had not been hoovered underneath or cleaned ever! The TV was old and remote was wonky ,there was only 6-7 tv channels ,with no satellite or foreign channels or movies to watch. The bathroom and shower were very basic with old style shower curtains and low lighting.Everything about this hotel from check in to check out was poor. Staff and service Dismal ,uncordinated ,no Irish hospitality or charm that i have experienced in many Irish hotels. A very poor hotel ,service ,and dissapointing experience all around. Devamı

We were very impressed with this hotel and country club. It exceeded our expectations. The area was very beautiful and everything was clean and well-maintained. Our room had a beautiful view of the country club. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The leisure center had a nice pool, and the gym was filled with new equipment and a nice variety. […] We also loved that they provided free transportation to the airport... which is VERY hard to find in Ireland, but it was one of the main reasons we chose the hotel... and are SO glad we did! We wish we could have stayed longer, but will definitely stay there again! I would recommend it to anyone, especially if you are traveling with a car, want to stay close to the airport, or simply just want a relaxing weekend away. Devamı

This hotel is situated 5-10minutes drive from Swords, its a lovely, well kept building with gym and swimming pool facilities. I truly would recommend it for weekend breaks. i would have a concern for people going for longer as it is a trek to everywhere really. overall i found my stay to be pleasant and the cleaning staff to be most courteous (makes […] a change from other places) I personally only have one gripe with the hotel and thats its reception/bar staff. i bought a take away down the road and brought it back with me, i simply asked at reception for a plate (which I do in nearly every hotel I've stayed in)but i was looked at like i have two heads. to make it even more awkward the concierge told me "to try" in the bar. i went in there and was greeted with the same look. i actually felt so awkward, the bar man said "we've stopped serving food" which clearly showed he had missed the point so i asked again, he asked me to go to reception which was just going to start a cycle. i eventually got my plate but only after a bit of humiliation. which, i have to say has put me off what is an otherwise lovely hotel. my last thought for you is if your looking for a four start hotel, with four star staff/service you may be at a struggle here. Great location, everything about this hotel is lovely. So clean and well maintained. I honestly cannot mark this hotel down on a single thing. Our first time staying there and we will be back for sure.

Lovely hotel in a gorgeous setting. Room was spacious and comfortable with a wonderful big bed! Only thing that let the whole experience down was the restaurant. Limited choice - some options not available, and very casual approach to service. A poor aspect to what is a lovely hotel

We were disappointed after the hotel's website had really made this out to be a great hotel. There was no a/c, the room was old, the curtains shabby and the bathroom dirty. We would not recommend this to anyone. It made for a rather dismal end to a great honeymoon in Ireland.

Enten du er golfer eller ønsker å se større deler av Irland pr. bil er Roganstown et ypperlig valg. Enten du er inne og nyter godt av god mat og spa-opplegg eller nyter utelivet i naturskjønne omgivelser, blir du fyllt med gode opplevelser.
