Hotel Le Jolie - New York

The smallest hotel room I have ever stayed in. queen size bed with 2/12 feet either and couldn't pull out desk chair to sit at end of bed one person in bathroom

hated the location; disliked the typically tiny NYC-size (large closet) room; liked the working computer; hated the price; hated the tiny bathtub and broken plumbing in shower

I stay here because it is a good value and a ten minute walk to see my son, daughter-in-law and new baby. The rooms are very small, but quite pleasant. The free breakfast is more than adequate. Since it's located right next to the BQE (major expressway) the street itself is not very attractive, but I have never been bothered by the noise. Walk a few […] blocks and you will find the funky stores and restaurants Williamsburg is known for, as well as the L train, which gets you into Manhattan in minutes. It's a short cab ride to La Guardia and offers free parking (we've paid as much as $50 a day at other NY hotels). Devamı

I travel a lot to NYC for work and recently have had to stay in the Brooklyn/Bronx area. It's hard to find a good hotel in this area but I'll be coming back here. They have limited parking in a lot which is excellent and are within walking distance to a few restaurants and a great park. The rooms were comfortable. Free wifi with no frustrating passwords […] and breakfast was simple but had some good choices. I'll be back. Devamı

I stayed two nights at the Hotel Jolie's attractively designed rooms. Some highlights:although small, the room was well laid out, with attention to details like usability, TV position, storage. Towels were plentiful and were nicely arranged. Continental Breakfast was served downstairs in an efficiently designed dining area. The staff was friendly and […] helpful. We have been staying at this hotel for the past couple of years in March, catching Soulive at Brooklyn Bowl. Its a great place to crash after a full day of friends and drinks in town. Its walkable to everything in Williamsburg, and the staff was very nice.

This is a great find. Rooms are "city" size a bit small BUT everything you need including a HD flat screen is in the room. The breakfast and coffee are perfect. Priced well and overall a perfect place to stay.

I was very disappointed with this hotel. The room was very small. It seems like they had a billion channels on the directv setup and about ten of them they actually paid for (and wanted you to buy movies and whatnot). The hotel staff was very awkward and not too friendly. The place looked like a remodeled mini hospital or something. It was clean and […] the bed was nice. But the vibe of the place was weird... cold, unfriendly... Also expensive for what you get. Also I swear that they vaccummed the hallways... in the morning and the night. Least favorite stay of the nyc/philly trip. The travelodge in philly was much nicer (and cheaper). I would recommend upgrading for better quality or downgrading for cheap rates. Great hotel for what I was looking for: a cheap place to stay a couple nights in a convenient Brooklyn location. It's close to a lot of the places that I wanted to visit and traffic noise from the BQE didn't enter my room. This place is a delight in the heart of Williamsburg. It is extremely comfortable and the service is outstanding. The prices are also quite reasonable for the location. If you plan to be in Brooklyn and like Williamsburg, this is a real find. I highly recommend it! Peter from East hampton and Fort Lauderdale

Exceeded our expectations. Friendly and helpful staff. Non- smoking. Comfortable bed, clean and quiet. The breakfast was plenty of food. We will definitely return.

We were very happy with our stay at Hotel Le Jolie in Brooklyn, NY. The location was perfect since our son lives only a few blocks away. At check in I specifically inquired about the Wifi and was told it was fine. I was then told, when internet was available, that they had tech service coming and our floor was a problem. I asked to be moved and they said it was no problem but the service should be running within hours. It never did and by the time we were told we could move our trip […] was almost over. They should not advertise Wifi if they don't have it. I had to sit on the floor of another floor to get internet. Not happy. Devamı

we were very pleased with the hotel -- stayed there a week and referred to going "home" at the end of our busy days there. would highly recommend it.

Stayed at the Hotel Le Jolie for a few nights and we were impressed with the quality and size of the room, the staff were so friendly and helpfull and the subway was just a short walk away. As I have said the staff could not do enough to help going as far as to print out a map for directions to a local resteraunt. The area dosen't look the greatest […] but I can assure you that it was very quiet and we walked back at 1am after the Halloween Parade. This is a great place to stay and I would highly recommend it. We planned to stay at the HLJ for two nights. It is conveniently located to get to from the airport, well lcoated in BK and easy to get into manhatten from. The rooms are clean, well appointed although quite small as are the beds albeit comfortable. Bathrooms slightly dated. Limited lobby / breakout area. staff are very good, particularly Urszula who […] went out of her way to accomodate us and help us change our plans at the last minute. Great service from her and we were very grateful. Very close to freeway but this is reflected in the price. Would recommend if you looking for some just to get your head down but not pay manhatten prices. Devamı

Hotel is at a great location, blocks from the subway and easy to access for arriving cars. It was amazingly quiet for being by the highway - I was on the highway side and did not hear it at all in my room. Also wonderful customer service from the front desk. The staff helped me figure out how to get around with the L train not running, and all worked […] perfectly. Also really great when they reserved a car for me. We booked Le Jolie on the recommendation of a friend and were very happy with the choice. Our only concern was the few reviews that mentioned noise from the expressway. We had a room on the front and could hardly hear the traffic now that the hotel has installed quadruple glazing. The air conditioning was noisy but we were very glad of it after a hot […] day in New York and we weren't disturbed by the noise. The bed was wonderful and we slept very well. The water pressure was excellent. The area looks a bit scruffy, but feels very safe, particularly in the evening when there are lots of people around. There is an excellent choice of places to eat including along Union Avenue. For a good beer and a cheap meal on a Tuesday, try the nearby pizzeria that does any beer for $2. A 12" pizza is plenty for two to share. The Metro L line has frequent trains and links to several other lines on 14th Street. We found the staff very friendly and enjoyed the breakfasts. With hard-boiled eggs, yogurt, fruit, cereal, bagels and cream cheese and a good choice of pastries as well as a choice of coffee, tea and fruit juice we were very satisfied. there are only six tables, but even when the hotel was free we didn't have to wait for a table. The wifi signal in the room wasn't strong enough for our netbook (which is very low spec.), but there is a computer in the lobby with a printer which is free for guests to use. The hotel deserves its good rating and we shall pass on the recommendation. Devamı

Loved the hotel and the neighborhood! It is very clean and very comfortable. This hotel will be my new home away from home when I visit NY.

Although the hotel is very close to some sort of elevated highway, it was very quiet. Rooms were very clean, staff were both friendly and helpful. Good location easy to get to subway, and near lots of happening stuff in Brooklyn. The bed was very firm (I prefer a softer mattress myself). Light buffet breakfast was available which we used sometimes (Bagel, […] OJ, coffee, cereal etc). I would recommend this hotel. Devamı

When staying at the hotel you get the feel for "locals". Eating at close by restaurants a real plus and a quick walk to the subway is really convenient for getting into NY. Friendly staff, good internet access that was always available. Downside was that even when towels were hung up, to not be replaced, towels were all replaced, consistently. Additionally, […] when requested to have the room refreshed early, when arriving six hours later, the room still hadn't been touched. This is a great, clean, reasonably priced hotel very convenient to the hipster Mecca of Williamsburg. The staff is nice and accommodating. Breakfast (cereal, pastries, juice and Starbucks coffee) is included. If you want to be convenient to Williamsburg and Greenpoint, this is a great location, but the 2-3 blocks immediately around the hotel are nasty. […] Its safe, but it looks questionable. There is a body shop on one side, a derelict gas station on the other, and the BQExpressway directly across. Under the highway is a parking lot where skateboarders and homeless people hangout. But walk a bit in any direction and there is great stuff: restaurants, bars, shopping, flea markets, etc. I'd stay there again. Devamı

The room and hotel were very clean well kept. The staff were friendly and helpful.The rooms are quite small but overall it is a very good hotel

No big complaints. The hotel is simple, clean and affordable. Although I had a very small room, my bed was comfortable and it had a nice HD TV. It's close enough to Bedford Street that you don't mind that the hotel actually right under a freeway and on the outskirts of Williamsburg.

Very comfortable and pleasant boutique hotel in Brooklyn. Fantastic staff and service. Friendly amenities for the traveler! Have stayed several times, never a disappointment.

The staff was friendly and enjoyable to talk with and the rooms for comfortable in a nice part of Brooklyn. We will definitely be using this hotel on our next visit to Brooklyn.

Knowing nothing about Brooklyn and choosing this hotel because it was close to my work location I could not have been more pleased. Everything about my room and the staff could not be better. This was generally a nice hotel for the price. The room was very small but clean and comfortable, the staff were all friendly and helpful, and the continental breakfast was great. But if I were to stay here again I would be certain that I was not put in one of the rooms on the first floor. Unfortunately, unless your room is at the back and not on the first floor beside reception, it can be impossibly noisy.However, my room was changed as soon as a quiet one became vacant. The breakfast was very good, lots of choice and what a luxury to have it extend to 11AM . This hotel is the only one close to the Bedfor4d area. I walked back late at […] night, and although the area is very shabby and run-diwn, it felt safe and was well lighted. Umbrellas were available to guests also...very considerate. Very friendly staff, clean rooms, and a nice included breakfast make this hotel a good choice for a lower cost than any Manhattan hotel option. It's right next to the BQE (Major elevated roadway), but my room was facing road, and I was not bothered by any noise. L train to downtown manhattan is about a 5 minute walk.
