La Mansion Inn - Quepos

We stayed for 4 nights. Our penthouse room was spacious, clean, and had sweeping views of the ocean and rainforest. The service was excellent. The staff booked excursions, got taxis for us in just minutes and even arranged for the rental car company to pickup the car from the hotel. Breakfast and lunch were delicious. The pool area was really beautiful […] with ocean views and a swim up bar. There was no wifi in the room, just in the lobby. The tub in the bathroom was big but water easily splashed out. Devamı

Could have been a great experience. Wonderful staff, beautiful view, must have been an amazing hotel in its day. Unfortunately the musty stench in the room did not allow me to sleep. The three meals we had in the restaurant were by far the worst we had in nearly three weeks in Costa Rica. With better meals and something done about the smell it would […] have been much better. The hotel was nice but I would not stay here again. They only have one restaurant and it is super fancy with very limited options. Breakfast was "included" but then there was an automatic service charge everytime. The staff were all very nice and helpful though. Although it had beautiful views, I did not like the location. It was so far from everything […] and you felt stuck there. We had a rental car but the driveway is so steep and you are on such a big hill that we were scared to drive there, especially at night with no lights. The hotel also said they were going to do something nice for us for our anniversary but they did not. Overall, not as great as I expected from all of the other reviews. Devamı

EXcellent hotel with lovely, attentive staff, wonderful views, good breakfasts and lunches. A perfect place to work (good broadband) and play. The slight distance from Manuel Antonio and Quepos was easily dealt with by taxis or a brisk walk to the bus stop - a small price to pay for a lovely hotel experience

My husband and I spent our honeymoon trip in Manuel Antonio thirty years ago, so we decided to return, but with better accommodations, for our second honeymoon. La Mansion had quite an impressive view, wonderful decor and ambiance, was very clean and well-maintained. The pacific views are unbelievable from this hotel!! I had a cute little garden patio out my room and an amazing view. The service from the front desk, to room service, to breakfast service, to the bar were ALL fantastic! A friend and I took a girls trip to CR and stayed at La Mansion...we could not have had a better time! The staff was extremely friendly and the swim up pool bar has the most magnificent view I have ever seen! The room was very clean and spacious. Very highly recommended!!!

This hotel is disappointing at best. We got stuck in the lowest level and had a view of only powerlines. The hotel is a maze of add ons so we had to go down several different flights of stairs which got extremely difficult. Others said they experienced the same problems. It is extremely hard to find, no signs, so good luck if you are driving.

La Mansion Inn was a brilliant find on Expedia's website. Perched high on a hill over looking Manuel Antonio National park and the Ocean made it a perfect location to stay. The staff were amazingly attentive, polite and informative; nothing was too much trouble. I would highly recommend the hotel.

My husband and I just enjoyed 3 nights at La Mansion. Everything was great. The staff is very friendly and helpful... The views are beautiful. The breakfast experience each morning was something to look forward to... We dined outside under a canopy overlooking the tree tops out to the water. The food was quite tasty and always came with fresh coffee […] and orange juice... (definitely try the pinto gallo dish- so yummy!) Manuel Antonio is a charming town, we will definitely look to return one day! I guess i should mention... If you are looking for a lot of pool use, this may not be the best spot for you... The pool is on the small side and the lounge chairs are limited (although there are additional chairs just not right near the pool) We didn't find this to be a problem though, we enjoyed the beach and the town and didn't stay primarily at the hotel, and when we did want to enjoy the pool area, it was not a problem in doing so. We stayed in the standard (deluxe) rooms. They were very clean and had nice decor. We had a view of the beach and Manuel Antonio Park, judging by looking at the position of the building, I do not think there are rooms without amazing views! The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The only thing I can think of to point out is that the parking […] is tight, the building is up on a hill with not much space to turn a car around. This boutique hotel is in nice condition. The staff is excellent. Then housekeeper took care to make the room look great each day. The restaurant staff, poolbar staff, front desk, and all personnel treated us just great and were so freindly everyday!

This was a beautiful small boutique hotel. I requested a deluxe room and they put us in the Penthouse with no additional charge. it was absolutely fabulous and the city and beaches were more beautiful than expected.

We went to La Mansion for our honeymoon and it was the most romantic atmosphere. It is a bit of a walk to the closest town of Quepos but if you are an adventurer it only adds to the experience. The hotel offers a shuttle service from the hotel just a few blocks away from the entrance to Manuel Antonio National Park. If you are in the area the national […] park is a must see place. It's only $10 to get in but you get a full day of beautiful less crowded beaches, wildlife and adventure. The only cons that I could think of is that there is no ice machine in the hotel and no fridge in the room. The heat makes ice a must have and a fridge would be nice if you would like to have your own groceries in the room. The prices for food are steep so if you are on a budget I suggest that you hit a local grocery store to pick up some can foods or anything that won't spoil or go into town for more affordable food. My Wife and I just got back from staying at the La Mansion Inn. Let me start off by saying the view doesn't get any better. We stayed at another place for 4 days and at the La Mansion for 3. Our room had it's own little lawn that had a cliff view of the coastline and rainforest. The Hotel was very unique and the staff were friendly. We actually saw […] monkeys on two different days by the pool/bar area. The only things that aren't great about the place is it's off the main road and about a 15 minute walk to the bus stop and if you have a car parking is bad, however you can leave our keys with the front desk. Again though, worth the views. Also, they have awesome free breakfast in the morning made to order. I would highly recommend staying here. Devamı

This hotel is one of the best-run hotels I've ever stayed at. It is in a beautiful location with fantastic views from any room in the place. The outdoor space is amazing and the staff and food was fantastic. If you want a perfect location to visit the Manuel Antonio area and relax in paradise, this is your spot. I can't wait to go back!

The location is off the main road on a windy road which ends at the Prador Hotel. Sign for the Hotel can be initially missed from road as it over 10 feet above the road...but sign for the Jacques Costeau restaurant (in the hotel) are in your face as you drive on the road). Short and steep driveway to hotel entrance...very limited parking spaces for […] car (8 cars maximum). Staff is very personable and professional. The location provides a quiet and relaxing atmosphere with fantastic views of the NP and Pacific coastline with incredible views from the Pool area. The rooms are decorated with white tile and white walls; which can get annoying. All rooms have a great view of the coast. The fridge in my room frooze a bottle of water and three cans of beer in under 4 hours (be forewarned). The Bat Cave is interesting to visit. Good selection variey at Breakfast and the food presentaion is impressive with very good service from the wait staff; but the quality of cooking is between average and above average. The pool bar is on the pricey side for drinks (but all alcohol, specifically liquor in Costa Rica in Tourist areas is pricey). The ceviche is good and recommended; but other guests complained about the quality of thier sandwiches. I did not eat dinner at the restaurant; but talking to several guests who did the comments ranged from OK to average. Devamı

I highly recomend this hotel. It has a wonderful ocean view, rooms are confortable, clean and nicely decorated, and people are extremely nice. Perhaps the only negative aspect during our visit was that the breakfast was set in a small area, far from the kitchen, so the food was not always warm and it did not have the best view. Hotel is very nice and the staff was excellent. Everyone spoke English very well. The pool is very nice, the rooms are large and have great balconies. We went fishing and the chef even prepared our catch for dinner. We had a great time and would definately return to La Mansion

El hotel posee una vista espectacular a la bahía de Manuel Antonio, así como al parque. Si bien no está cerca de la playa principal posee transfers a la misma y una playita a 300 mts. Camino a allí vimos perezosos y monos. Es una playa hermosa, imperdible! El desayuno no es bufet, sino a la carta, lo que asegura que asegura que todo esté recién hecho! […] La atención es muy buena, y desde el principio nos sentimos muy cómodos. Las habitaciones son amplias y con una linda decoración, todo con un estilo propio. El hotel posee un bar temático, en una caverna interna, muy divertido pra unos tragos antes de cenar. Buenas opciones para almorzar, o tomar un trago en el bar de la pileta. La cena en el restaurante (que es muy lindo) es buena, pero con pocas opciones. Mycket fint hotell och nära till nationalpark och stränder. Gångavstånd till en liten strand annars kan man ta en shuttle som avgår från hotellet ner till stora stranden. De flesta djuren som finns i parken kommer också på besök på balkongen.

Wij hebben in oktober 2011 vier nachten in hotel La Mansion Inn geslapen en genoten van de fantastische omgeving. Een uitzicht vanuit de kamer op zee en nationaal park Manuel Antonio om nooit te vergeten. Prima service en heerlijk eten. Fijn zwembad en mooi interieur van de algemene ruimten en de hotelkamer. het hotel mag zo hier en daar wel weer wat opgeknapt worden. Het is duidelijk een fantastisch boetiek hotel geweest in de 80 en 90er jaren, maar zo hier en daar heeft het wel een opfris beurt nodig.
