Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Chester - Chester

Sat in the dark most of the day; which is not conducive to my work . iI need light to transfer and sketch. IT WAS A SPECIFIC REQUEST SEVRAL TIMES. During reservations,( There was only one clerk at 5pm, she couldnt help) at check in ;and, for three days---more requests. Great location, just 15 minutes from Woodbury Common and the MTA Port Jervis Line train that can take you into Penn Station. Breakfast was included and had a good variety of items, including bacon and eggs. We chose the hotel as a stop-over because it is close to a large Outlet Mall. Service is what to be expected and breakfast included. Good enough for 1 or 2 days without becoming boring. The pool & hot tub were great and the breakfast buffet plentiful. Very kid friendly hotel!

We picked the hotel because its proximity to Woodbury Common Outlet Mall and its reasonable rates. It turned out to be a very nice hotel and the staff were very accommodating. My only complaint was the cleaning/draining of the hot tub on Sunday morning. Something that could have definitely been done on a weekday. need new mattress............for sure.

It's over 10minutes driving from this hotel to Woodbury Common Premium Outlets. It's clean,comfortable,and the most satisfactory hotel in our journey.

Close enough to Woodbury commons to justify the price difference vs. immediate surrounding area. Not well sound proofed. Horrible pillows, heater smells like burning when on.

I spent two nights with my husband at this hotel for its proximity to Woodbury Common. We did not have much expectations and we got a pleasant surprise. The room was generously proportioned and impeccably clean. They provide free wireless internet in the rooms. The rate included breakfast buffet which was good but did not have too many options.

When we stayed there we wondered why everyone seemed to be on a first-name basis with the staff. As we later learned, most of the hotel guests were local people who had been forced out of their homes for the second time in two weeks due to local flooding. Very comfortable rooms. Nice and clean with a very friendly staff. Breakfast is included. I would highly recommend this hotel to others.

Hotel is what you expect for the price. Would have scored higher except... When we checked in we asked that a room for our travel companions be booked close to our or at least on the same floor. Front desk said sure no problem. When they arrive 1 hour later the room have been taken and they could not get another room on same floor. Pleasantly surprised with the hotel. Very clean and friendly staff. The swimming pool was nice for small children. Grounds were well kept and surrounding area has many beautiful sights and good shopping close by.

Staff very friendly and helpful, assisting us with advice about nearby eating spots and keeping the breakfast room clean and well stocked. Location was good for a traveller, neat the highway to NYC and also not far from Premier Outlet shopping. The Holiday Inn Express of Chester is very clean quiet, modern and all that good stuff. Heres the problem: WORST BED EVER. Very uncomfortable, I wouldnt even recomend it for a quick romp. King size bed with all the comfort of a cardboardbox on the sidewalk. Otherwise, its a nice hotel

Nice hotel. Room could use some updates on the wall paper and the dust hanging from ceiling should be removed. Overall was just fine for us. Close to Mount Peter for skiing and had a great Friendly's restaurant a few minutes away for the kids. Would definitely book again in future.

Nice hotel and close to outlets

Cute hotel. Rooms are nice but they don't offer a minifridge which is only setback. Great location for area and to outlets. I would reccommend.

The staff at the hotel was extremely helpful. The lady who worked at the breakfast area was wonderful. She was so caring and great at making sure all of the food and beverages were perfect,

The hotel is in a nice location. The surrounding neighborhood is beautiful. There is access to whatever you need all around. The staff was very polite and helpful. The rooms are clean but not stocked. For example I had a King Bed and only had 3 pillows for 2 people. Also only two towels so your constantly calling room service for one or the other. Also […] I just went on 6/5/09 and the pool and spa were out of order so we couldn't enjoy either one. Also, no discount given for the inconvience. Also, you can't check out from your room either of your one that wants to check out quickly. Boa relação custo/benefício. Ponto alto: hotel bem conservado, conformtável e quarto muito limpo. Pode melhorar: café da manhã, inclusive com substituição dos talheres de plástico por talheres normais.

Internet grátis funcionava muito bem.
