The Forest Queen Hotel - Crested Butte

We were looking forward to a simple 1 night getaway to do some Cross Country skiing. This hotel is located close to the Nordic Center in Crested Butte and in close proximity to several good restaurants. We weren't expecting anything fancy, but we were looking forward to a warm room and a hot shower after skiing. When we returned at 4:00 PM to take a […] hot shower and go out for the evening, the water was not only cold it was FREEZING, but the room was warm at that point. We left for the evening, returning around 10:00, and looking forward to a comfortaable, warm room we found a cold room with No Heat! The heat was not on all night or the next morning. The sign in the hallway said the manager was in room 8, but no manager was ever to be found. With such an ideal location, it is a shame that we will not be staying there again. Devamı

Had a lovely time at the Forest Queen! Dutch and his wife are lovely. So friendly, they gave us great recommendations and their restaurant is very yummy! Really great people who know the area very well and really take pride in ensuring their guests get a great custom stay in Crested Butte. Highly recommend this hotel. Great location. Right in the center […] of town. Next to amazing restaurants and a great rum bar! Cozy. The rooms are small, but its enough room to put your luggage and sleep. It can be loud since there is a club next door that can get loud on weekend nights, but otherwise this place is a gem. Devamı

We followed the USA Pro Cycling Challenge and stayed in 5 different towns on 5 consecutive days and must say the Forest Queen topped our list. It wasn't the nicest/newest hotel on our tour but it was definitely the best experience. The owner and staff are really cool and very helpful. We had dinner at the restaurant and it was delicious. And the location […] is great for exploring and enjoying the remote town of Crested Butte. Devamı

Incredibly loud musuc in bar below and from bar next door. If yoy want to sleep before 12.30 forget it

"Historic" for sure. You have to be ready for an old fashioned adventure, tiny rooms, and be sure to get one that has its own bath! A little overpriced for what you get, but the bed was great, the location in the center of historic C B, and friendly staff make it fun. Nice to have a little cafe/bar right downstairs.

The place is a former brother, maybe six rooms, right in the heart of the action and with a roaring bit of river just below. Oh, and it's purportedly haunted. We didn't see the woman who is said to roam the halls, but she's there. She's. There. (We're told).
