Courtyard by Marriott Hong Kong - Hong Kong

One thing you can count on, is that you know what you are going to get when you stay at the Courtyard. I have stayed there since it opened a few years ago. Was very excited to see that there is now a Starbucks across the street.

One does expect more based on this hotel's rating. It is modern and clean, but rooms are small (as often in HK), noisy (highway and bus stop just outside) and about 15 mins from nearest MTR Sheung Wan. A small incident did not help - my room turned out to be a smoking room, when asking for change they in effect downgraded me - "don't complain". Hotel is slightly out of the way (5mins by taxi - 20 minute walk) from Central Hong Kong and no convenient restaruants nearby that I could tell. However, price was good, rooms good. They also have shuttle bus to Central train station which you can use even if not going to the train.

I think the Courtyard was a little overpriced for the neighborhood and amenities offered. It was clean and nice, but a little bit pricey when considering the total package.

Totally enjoyed the hotel and staff, we had a great room and a great view of the harbor. The only thing I would change is the MoGo Cafe left a little to be desired, but still was good.

The hotel ticks all the boxes with regards to comfort, cleanliness and decent views if you face the river. Hotel staff were helpful at all times, polite and friendly.

My second stay at this hotel. Compact sized single room. Free wifi which a lot of other hotels don't offer! A/c for both winter and summer, hot & cold air. Good overall. My only complaint was on one night I believe there were a group of young kids in the next room who were quite noisy and the walls are not too thick to drown out any noise. No mtr but […] good tram & buses services. If your a light sleep then you might get woken up by the noise of the expanding curtain wall outside in the morning when the sun is up. The quality is as you would expect from a Marriott but the location is rather inconvenient, you basically require a taxi to get to the majority of places, the metro does not stop nearby, and although room size in Hong Kong can be challenging at times the fact that unless the desk chair was pushed under the desk I could not get around my bed. The hotel had wonderful staff and very nice rooms with "see-through" bathrooms and panoramic views. The breakfast in our rooms was delicious and inexpensive, served promptly and with a smile. It is a great alternative to much more expensive hotels such as Hyatt, which don't necessarily offer better service or value. I would stay there any time. Enjoyed the room and good location for taking the bus to the airport. Few amenities in the hotel but the hotel is clean and well appointed. Can easily catch a tram to more central locations and attractions.

front desk staff were a little vague (or dishonest). I booked a seaview room, with breakfast. Upon arrival hey said breakfast was not included, and i had booked a city view. It was probably a mistake but it was annoying, they should be trained better. They eventually upgraded me to executive floor which was nice. Hotel looks new, clean. Location is a bit far from central - and local neighborhood is not really for tourists - but is right next to trolley stop which is about 20 min ride to Central for $2HK (on main bus routes also which has A/C and faster - but cannot walk to metro) ... Staff helpful/friendly. Overall good value for money in HK if you don't mind […] short transit trip to main shopping/nightlife areas. Ramada is also right across the street. I used neighborhood laundry/dry cleaner - right around corner from hotel - fast and cheap service - open until 8pm. Go the other way on the trolley to Kennedy Town and there are a couple of good restaurants and nice neighborhood waterfront park etc. if you want a different HK flavor ... Devamı

This hotel is very brand new and everything was clean and comfortable. Harbor view was fantastic!! The surrounding area was a little bit dirty and away from the Central. Despite the subway(MTR) station was away from the hotel, it was very convenient to use tram and bus. You can go everywhere by tram and bus. I prefered bus and tram to subway. 센트럴에서 한 정거장 거리로, 주로 전차를 이용해서 많이 다녔습니다. 소호에서 택시를 이용해도 기본 요금 정도 거리이고, 매우 깨끗하며, 직원들도 모두 친절합니다. 조식은 포함되어 있지 않으나, 홍콩에는 아침 식사로 사 먹을 수 있는 것들이 워낙에 많으니 오히려 잘 되었다 싶기도 합니다. 다음에 홍콩에 가면 다시 머무를 예정이예요!

看海房间不错。在西环，来的时候座地铁转电车有点麻烦。后来发现酒店对面马路有973巴士能到尖沙咀，不错，挺方便的。

Modern en goed uitgerust hotel op 5 taxi minuten van Convention centre. Kamers zij zeer comfortabel en ruim opgezet. Restaurant en voorzieningen van de executive lounge zijn voldoende, ontbijtbuffet in restaurant goed en in lounge beperkt. Avond buffet in restaurant is geen aanrader qua aanbod en sfeer, een restaurantje in Soho geeft meer plezier.

Insgesamt ein gutes, sauberes Hotel mit guter Anbindung zum Zenrum von Hongkong Island durch öffentliche Verkehrsmittel. Es ist zwar nicht sonderlich günstig aber welches Hotel mit gutem Komfort ist wirklich günstig auf Hongkong Island? Positiv ist auch die Anbindung zum Flughafen. Der Airport Bus A12 hält direkt gegenüber des Hotels.

Wir waren begeistert von diesem Hotel. Die Zimmer sind sehr modern und trotzdem gemuetlich eingerichtet. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und aufmerksam, ohne aufdringlich zu sein. Besonders empfehlen können wir, die Executive Etage zu Buchen. Gegen einen Aufpreis bekommt man Zimmer in den obersten Etagen und hat damit einen absoluten Traumausblick! […] Außerdem ist dann das Frühstücksbüffet sowie Snacks und Getränke von 18Uhr bis 20Uhr in der Executive Lounge inbegriffen. Das Hotel liegt einige Autominuten von den Kowloon-Fähren und Haupteinkaufsstraßen entfernt, doch dafür bietet das Hotel einen Shuttlebus zu verschiedenen Zielen an. MTRの駅は遠いため移動は原則タクシーとなる。 目の前がタクシー専用のガスステーションのため、比較的タクシーは通るため、予約なしでもすぐにつかまるし、タクシーの運転手もこのホテルを知っているのでその点は安心。無料シャトルバスもあるので適宜利用できる。タクシーはコーズウエイベイまで50ドルとそれほど高くない。ホテルの周りにはローカルの潮州海鮮料理店やホットポットの店が夜1時まで空いている。数件のバーもある。中華楼等の飲茶の安い店も数件あり便利である。 部屋からはハーバービューが素晴らしい。風が真正面からくると、窓枠がきしむ音がするのがやや気になるが問題ないレベル。バスタブがないのでシャワーのみ。長期の滞在には適さない。 慣れればなかなかいいホテルだ。特にローカル料理等が好きな人にはいいかもしれ […] なし。 Devamı

ホテルのスタッフの方々がとてもしっかりして、いてちょっとしたリクエストでもすぐ対応してくださいました。お部屋もこじんまりとしておりましたが、十分なスペースです。バスルームやシャワーもとても綺麗で使いやすかった。ただ、隣のお部屋の物音が結構聞こえてくるのだけは夜寝る前だけですが気になりました。それ以外ではとても満足です。

ﾎﾃﾙの部屋は狭かったですが、清掃がゆきとどいでおり、大変清潔でした。 ﾋﾞｸﾄﾘｱﾊｰﾊﾞｰを臨む部屋で、九龍ｻｲﾄﾞの景色を楽しむこともできました。 ｱﾀﾞﾌﾟﾀｰ、ﾄﾞﾗｲﾔｰ、着心地の良いﾊﾞｽﾛｰﾌﾞや湯沸かしﾎﾟｯﾄ等等、お部屋の備品が充実しており、大変助かりました。　また、ｺｰｽｳｴｲﾍﾞｲ方面への、無料ｼｬﾄﾙﾊﾞｽのｻｰﾋﾞｽも良かったです。ｽﾀｯﾌは親切で、英語でのｺﾐｭﾆｹｰｼｮﾝは、まったく問題ありません。（日本語は無理ですが・・・） 小さいながらも、とても満足度の高いﾎﾃﾙです。
