Lodge at Mountaineer Square - Crested Butte

Fantastic hotel, have been skiing at CB 12 years and love it! you can pop your ski's off, store them , and go right up to the room! jacuzzi, sauna, pools are wonderful ! just steps away from the free buses to the cutest snowglobe-like town in the USA !! love this town, it's people, and it's family friendly slopes; although it is not for 1st time skiers […] and not for families with little kids in my opinion:) This place is brilliant ! The Lodge is very quiet this time of year - which is great. Very few people to compete with in the very nice outdoor hot tub and pool. Make sure you ask for a room facing Crested Butte - otherwise you have the road (pretty busy) or the Square (no view). Also make sure you take a drive up Gothic Road to the trailhead for Judd Falls. This is the most […] spectacular scenery I have every seen in Colorado- and the wildflowers were unbelievably beautiful. Crested Butte is on the other side of the Maroon Bells from Aspen and it couldn't be more different in a very positive way. Better than expected! Personnel very helpful. Excellent location for mountain hikes and town. Definitely a place to plan a return to in the future.

Our two day stay at the Moutaineer was too short! We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves in Crested Butte and the main reason for this was the outstanding accomodations at the Mountaineer. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by the front desk and when we checked in, our room was upgraded at no charge - what a surprise! The employees at the Moutaineer are […] first class - very customer oriented and very willing to assist you in any of your needs. The room was beyond belief - two balconies, with one overlooking the mountains, full kitchen, fireplace, dining area, two T.V.'s, and a gorgeous master. Both my husband and I could have lived there comfortably for months! Close to the hotel were restaurants, the ski lifts, activities and the bus that took us to Crested Butte free of charge. Rather than spending time in Telluride next year, we're going to spend our entire vacation in Crested Butte and at the Lodge at Moutaineer Square. Devamı

Crested Butte is one of the prettiest places I've been. The wild flowers are incredible. When we go back, we will stay definitely stay here again. The room was large and very,very nice.

Very comfortable, friendly, helpful in all ways..... Would have loved to stay longer.....

The hotel was great and the room was lovely. There was a nice little sundeck by the pool with beautiful views. There's a free shuttle to take you to/from the town which is useful.

The Lodge at Mountaineer Square was great! Notably comfortable bed!

I really liked the lodge, but my one complaint is that it was only booked to 20% capacity and they gave us the worst room. Every other level had a private balcony and we were stuck on the top floor, no balcony and had the manager's office across the hall from us, all the house keeping storage areas, etc. If a hotel isn't booked to even 50% capacity, […] they should try to appeal to you more by putting you in a nicer room. That is my one and only complaint. Oh, and there was used dental floss in our shower, that grossed me out. Devamı

The Hotel itself was nice, I was told at check in to park underground and take a white ticket coming in and was given coupons to leave parking. I assumed the coupons were for the guests (why else would they give you coupons) upon check out I had a $60.00 parking fee for two nights. Had I been told up front at checkend I would not have stayed there. […] But there was no disclosure at all. I am still angry. Devamı

The Lodge at Mountaineer Square is an exceptional hotel in service, cleanliness and convenience. The Lodge sits at the foot of the mountain and skiing is literally a few steps away. It also has restaurants, coffee shops, gift shops, ski rental shops, and activities for little ones so you never need to leave the area. But if you want to there is a free […] shuttle that takes you to the quaint town of Crested Butte 2 miles away with lots of shopping and restaurants. The skiing was great with tons of powdery snow and the resort has wonderful instructors (snowboarding too). Probably one of my family's best vacations ever. Devamı

Very nice in all aspects. Great location to the lifts and Crested Butte is a fantastic place to visit and ski.

Wow!!! What a wonderful hotel. It is beautiful hotel in a beautiful location. The room was immaculate. You would have never guessed anyone had ever stayed there. There are buses that take you only a few minutes to Crested Butte. We are already planning our next trip.

This is a beautiful hotel on the base of Mt.Crested Butte, right in the middle of it all. Beautifully decorated Nice balcony, big comfortable bed. Really nice bathroom. Loved the pool and hot tub. We hiked Mt Crested Butte. Whitewater rafting, more hiking. The shuttle bus leaves every 15 mins to bring into the town of Crested Butte. We went in the summer […] and it was so awesome! Great staff; great venue; and great views. Parking is expensive ($20.00 @ night) and inconvienent (needs to be validated at the front desk on EACH entry/exit).

We stayed two nights at the Lodge at Mountaineer Square in Crested Butte during the off season, in May. The rooms are very comfortable and the staff was friendly and helpful. Our stay was a little strange because there were only 10 other guests in the hotel. We only ran into 2 other people in the entire ski village, but we enjoyed the quiet and the […] beauty of the landscape. The lack of people made it very easy to get around. We were told that the exciting times are during June and July when the town is bustling with visitors. We enjoyed Crested Butte very much. The town is beautiful and the people are quite friendly. The weather at this time of year was a very pleasant 71F. The Lodge at Mountaineer Square is very nice however we were dissappointed that they charged us $20 per night for parking. The fee is not mentioned in the reservation and seems excessive. Devamı

Visited late August. Hotel in great condition and rooms were large and well equiped, clean, well decorated, modern. Great, large bathroom with huge deep tub. Highly recommended
