This hotel is not in great repair. The wireless is very slow and only a marginal connection. If you stay do not stay on the freeway side as it is very load and the walls are thin.

This place is discusting! The people are rude and don't aim to please their customers at all! I have been here a few times because it is close to Oakland Children's Hospital but it always bad! I do not reccomend coming here - ever!

Had to stay here during an emergency visit. would never stay again. The staff was pleasant and helpful, however, they are stuck in a pit of a hotel. rooms dirty, outdated, and beds are awful. the clientele are pretty scary also. Left to stay at the Washington Inn downtown Oakland after the first night of a 6 night stay.

It was just right for the price no more or less than the price. I was trying to extend staying a couple more nights but the lady at the front desk who was being beyond rude, I changed my mind. Well hotels.com booked me the better place to stay that night so no harsh feelings anymore. But the front desk lady gotta change her attitude though.

We had reserved a non-smoking room, but when we checked in the only rooms available were smoking. We were disappointed and the room had a distinct smell of smoke our entire stay. Other than that, the accommodations were adequate.

Basic room, good for the price. Near Highway 580, so a bit noisy on that side of the hotel. I turned on the fan in my room and that solved the freeway noise problem.

When I arrived the outside of the hotel looked great. When I got onto my floor it smelled like nothing other than ciggarette smoke & when I booked the room I asked for a non-smoking room. When I called down and told the woman at the front desk she quickly told me there were no non-smoking rooms available without even looking! But when I spoke to a manager […] he took the time out to actually look to see if there was one & then he switched me over to a different room. Both the manager and the woman told me that when you book through hotels.com it does not specify the type of room that is requested when they book the room. I'm not sure if there is any truth to that but the time I spent trying to get a different room was a big inconvenience. The room quality was simalar to a run down motel. There were big stains on the floor, the lounge chair was broken and so was one of the drawers. When I opened the freezer it smelled like something died in it. It was just a bad experience. Devamı

It was ok except for the fact there was an armed hostage situation in a business next door to the hotel. Police had the place surrounded with snipers located the area and we could see them thru our hotel window. The stay was nice, but that was a little disconcerting.

The only addition would be to have cable access to Comcast Bay Area for Giants and A's games.

The rate was economical, rooms were clean, and there was plenty of space. The single downfall to this hotel was the beds- very, very firm, to the point of discomfort. In fact I usually like firm mattresses, but these were just too hard.

Check in was simple. The quality of the rooms look dated and old. All the smoking rooms are on the 4th floor. As soon as you exit the elevator on the 4th floor there is a slight stench. I guess all the smoking that's going on. My room had the windows open when I arrived. I guess to 'air it out" I suppose. Tv was 16 inches. Very small. Limited cable […] channels. They claim free wifi, but you have to ask for a code which I called the front desk for. Onscreen they say its a 4.95 charge but the clerk says that I'm giving the code so it must be free with out she saying it is The location is nice with alot of nice stores around there. The bathroom in the room had mold. The shower did no drain so you eneded up showering in a puddle of water. The carpet smelled like it had been wet and not cleaned properly. The bed is what really made things bad. The matress is not something you would want to sleep on for more than a night. Wonderful hotel itself, but surrounding area is not a comfortable place to get lost in. Friendly staff & satisfactory rooms we're a good benefit for the price.

It was clean, there are kitchenettes, and the staff was nice. My only complaint is that they needed a second staffer at the front desk during the busy afternoon hours. I had an awful time locating the place, but I am awful with directions so it was probably just me. They have extra thick dual pane windows that dampen the freeway noise to acceptable […] levels. Another reviewer mentioned homeless - so what, they were under the overpasses behind the hotel. Noone bothered us and they would have had to climb over a tall fence to do so. too expensive and not good

The room was horrible for the price. The tv was in poor condition and the bed was very uncomfortable.

The first room offered to us had food on the counter, a pile of dirty towels on the bathroom floor, and the bed was turned down. A new room was offered but when I requested Wi-Fi I found that we were still assigned to the first room, questioning the security of my stay. On the last day while moving the foot stool back into place, a crack pipe rolled […] out from inside of the stool. The elevator smelled of cigarette smoke with butts frequently left on the floor and graffiti reminiscent of a public rest room. On the bright side they take pets and the staff was - professional. . As soon as I walked into the door the atmosphere was nice and the desk attendance was very friendly and house keeping provided extra towels and soap when I ask for it. My overall say was wonderful.

Pretty scary place...on one nights return to the hotel, I found a letter slipped under the door stating that "Although I may have a medical condition, the use of marijuana is prohibited and I may be removed from the property without refund" The smell of pot, the prostitutes, and the dogs running in the halls left a lot of room for improvement. However, if going to San Francisco, beware of the traffic congestion and expect it to take 1+ hours to the city. Hotel located on the fringe of a neighborhood to stay away from after dark. No hair dryer provided in the room, so be prepared! Hotel has seen better days - hallway and room carpet buckled and dirty. A/C unit very loud. I was extremely disappointed with Extended Stay America. I wanted a hotel located in Emeryville that was in walking distance to many of the town’s conveniences and attractions, such as the shopping area, restaurants and movie theater. Several hotels are, but not this one. I had to drive to everything. There was no room service at all. The front desk […] CLOSED every night at about 10 p.m. In order to get another towel I was expected to give them a towel. The television was small and about 15-years-old. There wasn’t even complimentary lotion, shampoo and conditioner in the bathroom. And this was the worst aspect of the hotel: I was expected to pay a fee to access the internet. This was one of my most unpleasant hotel experiences. This “hotel” should not be available through Hotels.com because it is NOT a hotel. Devamı

Convienent to San Francisco at a reasonable price.

I was forced to stay here because I booked late and needed a place to sleep for a few hours between obligations. When I checked in, the very first thing I noticed was that the lobby smelled terrible. It wasn't just a bad smell, but a particular one- the smell of burning marijuana. That smell persisted all the way down the hall to my room. In my room, […] the TV was very very small, and was broken. Although I had signed to accept the fee for internet access, I could not connect. I went back and talked to the people at the front desk, but they weren't at all helpful. I had to talk to 'tech support' (a woman somewhere in India) to get it to work. Once I did, the connection was very slow. When I got back to the hotel from my first obligation, at around 2:40 am, there were people loitering and wandering around in the parking lot. I got the sense that many of the people there were using the hotel less like a hotel, and more like a residence, maybe abusing the extended part of the stay. I say this without exaggeration, the last Motel 6 I stayed in was about 5 times nicer than this Extended Stay. Find somewhere else if you can. Devamı

No dishwashing soap was available - one day we were given only decaf coffee, but the very helpful staff rummaged around until they found the real thing

Even for construction guys this place was rough. Shower did not work right, noisy room, just a bad experience. Moved the crew after two miserable nights.

Too many LOOOOONG Term guest. It basically appeared to be permanent housing for some of the residents. Some definately took advantage of the "Extended" part..

The hotel was great. Low cost, kitchen and most of all I was able to bring my Dog!!

apesar da surpresa de vc mesmo fazer o serviço de limpeza do quarto, o pessoal é ótimo, todos sorridentes e prestativos. Localização para compras, a melhor, tudo até a pé. voltarei sim e recomendo.
