It was awesome had an amazing time was clean and friendly.

This hotel is wonderful! The casino is located on the lower level with many penny machines. The room is modern and clean. I was most impressed by the comfort of the mattress, the completely tiled shower, and extra large bathroom. There is a flat screen TV with cable. We were on top floor right under Ac/Heating unit an the rumbling from the unit made it hard to stay asleep I thought a little pricey.

Clean rooms. Service staff was really fast. Extra pillows and towels. Lower level is a casino so you might walk back to your room smelling like smoke.

While the hotel itself was ok we were extremely disappointed with dinner at otis and henrys. We also did not receive fair treatment at the casino as a friend was kicked out for being intoxicated. He was not in the slightest. We had a lot of people there and were spending a lot of money. We will not go back.

I was in Waterloo on business from Colorado. Nice hotel and casino, although certainly not a destination resort, but fine if you have to be in Waterloo or live in the region. Only complaint: even though the facilities are of recent construction, I was surprised how 'thin' were the walls between hotel rooms. You can easily hear conversations from rooms […] on either side. Great rooms at a great price through hotels.com. Everything about the hotel was nice. There were 2 things about the entire place I did not like: 1) Smoking is allowed in the casino. 2) Valet service takes forever and the setup while waiting on your car isn't good. Other than those 2 things, the place is great!

We are not gamblers, but stay here for the comfort, price and also enjoy the restaurant upstairs.

We stayed after seeing Kathy Griffin. We had never stayed at a casino before, but this hotel had the highest number of stars for the area, so we tried it. I would give it another half star. Very clean, tastefully decorated, new decor. This was the best pick with limited options, but even without that limitation, I would recommend.

We had a very nice one night stay here. Lots to do besides gamble. Nice atmosphere.

the room was great. we had two rooms and it took 2 and a half hours to get the second room. that was the only problem

Awesome place to stay. The beds are amazingly comforting. We stayed for a family outing to the water park and had a wonderful time.

Hotel room was spacious and the bathroom was luxurious. Beds were comfortable. I only had breakfast at their buffet and it was very good. Quiet location but easy to get to several area attractions.

The room is nice and spacious. It is vey clean and quiet. I would definitely recommend this place, especially for the price.

We enjoyed our stay here. The room was very nice and the bathroom was beautiful. Ceramic tiled walk in shower. The only thing I was disappointed in was there was NOT non-smoking table games. There is a section of the casino that is non-smoking slots but there are table games in the middle where they still allow smoking. What is the point???

Quick and courteous efficient and pleasant care. I would love to stay there again.

This hotel was amazing!! It was a beautiful place with a great casino and wonderful restaurant and bar options. I am already making plans to return to a personal trip so I am able to spend more time there andtake advantage of everything the hotel has to offer!

Was not expecting the rooms to be as nice as they were! Very large room, suite type feel.

We always love staying here. I was a little upset this time because they had a problem in the next room and maintenance was in there at 11:30 at night moving stuff around, but other then that the stay was as awesome as always! A beautiful room, and we love the shower!

Great location to family waterpark and shopping mall and movie theatre. Casino enviornment did not interfere with the non-gamblers stay and there are so many restaurant options within the hotel including fast food, pizza,sahdwich shop, coffees, ice creams a buffet AND a setakhouse! The Isle Casino Hotel was a great value at the price I paid, and is likely the cleanest hotel in Waterloo (due to its age). The room was large, clean, and very well appointed for the price. The location of the hotel is easy to find and travel by car, but is clearly not within walking distance to anything of interest. The breakfast buffet was of reasonable […] quality and was an excellent value as well. The biggest down side is the smoke filled lobby. I am not surprised by the smoke filled Casino itself, but just checking in and out is unpleasant if you are not a smoker. Despite being in the casino (and most everything having a residue smell of smoke) this was not a bad place at all to stay with kids. The pool was small but safe (not deep), the buffet was perfect for picky eaters, and the staff was very pleasant and accomodating for children. Hotel is part of the casino. Which in Iowa, where you can't smoke in public places like restaurants - you can still smoke inside casinos. Luckly we were on the 5th floor and couldn't smell the smoke. Room was very nice. Bathroom was huge - big shower! Pool area ws very nice. Whirlpool was great, pool water was cold - Brrr! My room was roomy and very clean. Surprised that there was no frig and microwave.Pool was comfortable where many are cold.I would definely go there again but only on Thur the price for the weekend doubled. Plenty of eating spots a little ways down on San Martan.Easy to reach by freeway. Just a short way from the expressway.

The room was huge! About twice the size that we were expecting. Very clean, comfy bed.

My wife and I had a very positive experience staying at The Isle in Waterloo for one night on our way from St. Louis to Minneapolis. The room was large, bed comfortable, very clean. No complaints. We will stay there again if in the area.

This hotel was plush. I would have been satified at twice the price. Staff could use 5 star training to go with such a beautiful hotel.
