Anderson Ocean Club and Spa by Oceana Resorts - Myrtle Beach

Our stay was wonderful!! The service at the hotel was excellent! Our bed was super comfortable - everythng was clean and the quality of the room was very nice. We had a very enjoyable romantic getaway. This was our first time here and we will be back again - soon!!

Enjoyed our stay

We stayed two nights at this hotel. Our room was very big with a bedroom for my husband and I, and then a sitting area with a pull out couch. Not only did they have a pull out couch, but a bed that came out of the wall. It was something you don't see everyday. My daughter loved it and thought it was cool how the bed came out of the wall. The view was […] amazing, with a view of the sunrise. The pools were very nice, with a heated one inside. The beach was also nice, but you had to pay to get a chair and space was limited. The gym was super nice, I wished I had used it, but from the looks of it, it was good with lots of equipment. The location was great because it wasn't really in the middle of Myrtle Beach. At night Myrtle Beach was loud and with lots of kids roaming around. The hotel was in a good spot, because there were not that many kids, but still good. Across the street there was mini golf, which you get a free round. The golf was great for a quick nightly activity to do. Overall it was a great place and I would return, because of how clean it was and how it was a great location. Devamı

The staff is very family focused, the annual Easter Egg hunt for the kids is great, housekeeping left Easter Eggs for my kids when they cleaned the room. He location is perfect to get to all the attractions without too much fuss and of course getting to the beach is a piece of cake.

It was great love the tub love the balcony view we was on the 21 floor get room service was good and they got there fast will return again for the summer

Stayed here several times. The parking is the only thing that can be a problem. Parking lot is across the street.You can have valet parking for $8 a night if you like.

Room service stops at 9pm and Valet parking stops at 11pm and if your car is already valeted and you need your car you have to WALK AND LOOK FOR IT!!! I didn't like the service of this hotel. If I was to travel to Myrtle Beach again I WOULD NOT STAY THERE or recommend to others.

I was not happy with this hotel at all. There was construction going on while we were there and it was loud and annoying. The room we were in was a 1 bedroom suite and it was a nice room, but the maids did not clean our room at all the first couple days until we called and had it taken care of. When I took a shower, it started to fill with water , it […] was a clogged drain and it was discusting and it filled up past me ankles. The remotes did not work for the t.v. and the water was cold several times when we got in the shower. Overall the hotel was not well maintained and we were not very happy, because it was not worth the amount we paid for it. I paid for a massage for my wife as a surprise; I later found out that she was given a massage by a guy who had a sinus problem and he kept breathin/groaning loud throughout the massage and this made her uncomfortable the entire time. She also said he gave a terrible massage that and she thought I could do a better job! If you know how bad my massages are, you would think it was terrible we had to pay for it. I would not rercommend this hotel! We stayed in the "off" season and the hotel was almost empty, that would seem to be a good thing.... but the staff did just the minimum to make sure we had what we needed. This was by far the nicest furnishing and room cut i have ever seen in a Hotel. The Magnolia (were breakfast is served) is actually right across the street, so no problem at all (i was worried at first, that it was farer and didn't like that breakfast was not served in House, but it is literaly across the street and no problem). Pefect two night stay. Hotel is beautiful, and rooms are perfect and clean. Will stay again!

Nice one bedroom condo on the beach. There seems to be a personality disconnect with the hotel/resort in that they have 5 Start pricing with only 3 Star staffing. The Valet service is a must, however and the Valet guys were by far the best part of the service of the hotel. Valet is only $8 (the only non-5 Star pricing surrounding this place) and I highly […] recommend it for the convenience. If you self-park you're going to have to park across the street about a block away. The hotel bar is over-priced. Canned beer is $3.50 a pop and the bartender wasn't friendly, unless you are a local. The workout facility is okay, but the hours are not. The living room was pretty nice, the kitchen was actually very serviceable, but the televisions need an upgrade. Stay here for the convenience to the beach, but don't look for more than that. If you are traveling and plan on eating in most meals, this is a great place. Devamı

This was a great hotel to stay at, great rooms and clean. The only issue was service, they continued to call our room asking us to pick up our welcome basket, which was going to be followed by a timeshare presentation of which we did not want to go through. This was our first time to Myrtle Beach and we randomly picked this hotel because of the other good reviews. We were on a last minute road trip for our honeymoon and ended up staying here 2 nights instead of one. The room was huge and gorgeous! It had a kitchen, washer/dryer, dining area and a pretty big balcony. The only thing that was weird with the […] rooms was the window in the bedroom that views into the hallway, but once you closed the curtains its like it was never there, still weird though! The view of the ocean was just awesome and the B bar downstairs was a good time too! Since we stayed 2 nights last minute, we couldn't get the same room for both nights and had to move our stay up a couple floors. But the staff was very accommodating, helpful and friendly! Decided to stay here based on reviews I read. Very nice place to stay. Employees were all friendly. We had a one bedroom beachfront which was nice if one of us went to bed before the other. Had a full kitchen so we only ate one meal out for supper. The washer & dryer was great to have. There was plenty of nice lounge chairs by the pool. We went to one […] of the "beach stores" & bought a couple of $16 chairs to sit by the ocean with (we drove so we could take them home to use in future). The "lazy river" was small but we didn't have children with so it didn't matter. The hot tub outside was nice & hot. The beach was very clean, walked every morning. Broadway at the Beach was only a couple miles away. Would stay here again in the future. Devamı

This hotel has all the amenities anyone would want in a beachfront property. The staff was extremely friendly and helpfull. The only negatives were the unloading area is small and can be very congested at busy times and the parking is a accross the street with Valet Service occupying the 1st two floors of the garage.

My first time in Myrtle beach and really liked and enjoyed staying at the Anderson. Close to every thing you can think of. Smack in the middle of all the action. And to my surprise our studio was equipped with every possible appliance you can think of. Loved it.

While the location is great, the check-in area and parking when busy is very tiny and extremely crowded and it was off season. Really enjoyed the comfortable bed, and overall experience of the room. Only drawback was the messed up reservation (stayed 2 nights) and they moved us from 1 room to another (same room) while I was told it would be "ocean front" […] is was not, and the size and room style was not as they promised. After meeting with the front desk on several occasions they did move me into what I paid for which was an extremely nice room facing the ocean. It had 2 qn beds, a murphy pulldown bed , full kitchen, a nice sofa, chairs, etc. and big enough for entertaining if needed. This situation could have been avoided by just doing the right thing to begin with, however, the front desk and overall managemnet made it difficult. Not sure if I would stay here again, looks to me they would promise one thing and deliver another if they could. Devamı

My husband and I have stayed at the Anderson for our anniversary for the past three years and love it. Its very clean, the staff are very accommodating and the location is perfect. We wont stay anywhere else in Myrtle Beach.

i stayed here last year and really enjoyed my stay that is y i chose it again. the only issue i have is the same one i wrote last year,that the internet does not work in the bedroom u have to sit in the living room area to go online and it was still not addressed other than that great hotel great amenities and great service.highly recommend it.

We were in a two-bedroom condo and the amenities were fantastic -- Full Kitchen w/dishes and flatware, toaster, coffee maker, etc. View of the ocean from two balconies, lots of space, comfortable beds with really good linen. I travel all the time for business. This hotel was PERFECT! I had a great view and more than I could ask for , a kitchen, a wahser and dryer, and everything I would need on a family trip. :)

Great rates, super clean, kitchen was a plus, helpful staff and convenient location. I will stay there again.

Outstanding

Amaizing vacation! We had an partial ocean view 1 bdrm suite. Room was very comfortable. Everything was new and clean. We had a great time and would certainly stay there again.

I really liked this hotel. I had a hard time to find this hotel when I arrived at Myrtle Beach because there is no "Anderson" sign, instead the building at the 2600 street # has "Hilton" name. It was confusing. When I checked in the hotel, the front lady was not so friendly. She didn't give us any introduction or even smile but just register my CC in […] the case of damage. So I was disappointed at this point. But when I entered the room, it was great. I went there with my three-year-old daughter, so I just bought the least expensive room because I know we would spend most of the time on the beach or at the pool. Even this standard room had nice small kitchen, big bath room and nice ocean view. The flat screen TV had DVD player too, so my baby girl does not have to use small portable DVD player to watch her favorite shows in the evening. The best part of this hotel is that they provide free access to Wild Water & Wheels water park. My daughter loved this place so we went there twice during our week stay. If we purchased fees it should have costed more than $30 for two of us, so I am really pleased. The kitchen was small but equipped fully, so I could cook since my daughter got too tired to go out to eat at dinner time. The only recommendation to the hotel would be that if the hotel staffs have an attitude to think how to make customers stay more pleasant, this hotel would become an excellent one. I hear the staffs say "It is hotel policy" a lot of times and shut down the questions or requests. I respect hotel policies but there would be some way to work with customers and find out a practical solution keeping hotel policy. Lovely facility, lovely people, however, it would be nice to have an ice machine that works. They only have 2 ice machines in the entire facility and neither provided any ice the entire stay. With only 2 machines it would have been nice to have the ice maker in the room on and providing ice to make up for the lack of equipment.

Having never been to Myrtle Beach, I was nervous about whether or not I'd chosen the right hotel/right location. But it was perfect!! There was a quick cab ride from the airport, it was right on the beach and just as gorgeous as it was in the online pictures. I loved the full kitchen that came stocked with dishes. My only complaint is about the pillows. […] They were too fluffly. They were so fluffy, it hurt your neck to use them. But I'm splitting hairs with that complaint. I would recommend the Anderson Ocean Club to anyone going to Myrtle Beach!!! Devamı

i enjoyed my stay at the anderson hotel. the valet parking is good but sometimes they are slow with getting your car but they are busy alot and also the front desk can get a little busy at times. but i overall enjoyed my stay. the rooms are comfortable and so are the beds the pillows are very thick i would suggest one from home.

This hotel was nice, but the amenities were not up to standard.

Once again the Anderson was the best choice for the price. I recommend they do abit better cleaning of rooms such as behind the furniture and removal trash from couch and chairs. Overall very satisfied and look forward to next stay.

My husband and I stay at the Anderson every time we visit Myrtle Beach, which is about every two months. We love the Anderson because the rooms are good size, they have a full kitchen, in case we want to save some money and prefer to dine-in, and it is right on the beach.
