Hampton Inn Carlsbad-North San Diego County, CA - Carlsbad

i found it wonderful. At first, I was a little unsure about it being a business hotel because i had my family with me, but i founf it more enjoyable. We had great service and the pool area wasn't crowded.

Hotel was great. I couldn't believe how quiet it was there. I didn't hear a peep outta anyone , except a tv when I walked down the hall to get ice. I will definately stay here again and again. Price was reasonable and worth it. I even got free hot breakfast every morning and they never ran out of anything. 2 thumbs up for this hotel.

Definitely better than expected for the price level. Comfortable and fairly clean room (no pets allowed was a plus for us). Breakfast is fairly decent.

Hotel was clean and staff was friendly. Breakfast was ok but could be improved.

Took the family (8yo, 6yo and 6 mos.) and had a very pleasant stay. Checked in on a Monday and out on Friday. Loved the free breakfast and everything was always replenished. They offered waffles, eggs, sausage, fresh fruit, bagels, oatmeal, cereal etc... I was VERY impressed.Rooms were clean and staff was friendly. The only cons I would have is that parking spaces are a little tight and limited if you come back late at night. Another thing is that on the Friday morning we were leaving, the breakfast place became busy as the weekend families were coming in. Since it was a free for all, the rudeness of people came out. We took a vacation to Legoland and stayed two nights here. The staff was nice, the room was comfortable and the breakfast was very good. If we go to Legoland again we would stay there. It was a quick drive to many things down there.

All in all a pleasant place to stay. The only negative thing was that it was advertized as a room with two queen size beds. Trust me, there weren't. My wife and I sleep on a queen here at home and these were quite a bit smaller.

I always stay @ hapmton inn if at all possible. My only complaint was that the walls seemed thin at this location. We were in room 103 right. Next to the work out fitness room, and could hear the tread mill and tv... Way too early in the morning. ~SL, gilbert, az

We have stayed here twice, and both times the room was nice and clean. We did have some noisy kids upstairs the first time, so we booked the top floor in the back and had a nice quiet sleep. The breakfast is ok, I love the waffles, but don't eat the other stuff, except fruit. I always think the rates are too high in every hotel, since we usually only […] shower and sleep there and don't spend much time in the room, but what are ya going to do. You gotta pay, right? Excellent customer service from front desk. It was very nice that the manager offered me choc. cookie at check-in. Food from free breakfast were fresh and good quality, host(guy who prepared the breakfast) was friendly and patient. Room size were not too big, but it is clean and neat. Very quiet and comfortable.

Staff friendly, accommodations were comfortable, breakfast was a nice bonus. Very happy with accomodations, would definitely stay again.

We were very pleased with this hotel. The breakfast was awesome-waffles, eggs, potatoes, cereal, yogurt etc. The staff was very helpful and friendly, they gave us an excellent restaurant suggestion. The hot tub was nice too. Clean and well heated. No complaints. Modern, clean and near dining/shopping, but not too close to the noise. The breakfast had a variety of foods/beverages. Only complaint... water pressure, but what hotel has great water pressure? We enjoyed it and would definitely consider staying there again if in the area.

This is not my first time staying at a Hampton Inn, but my first time at the Carlsbad location. Overall, I am extremely happy with the ambiance, comfort, modern decor, cleanliness, and customer service. The complimentary breakfast is a huge plus and part of our reason to choose this hotel since we are a family of 5. We usually stay at Hampton Inn's when we go places because they are always affordable and nice. This one is no different, nice place to stay. The only negative is that the walls seem awful thin, but other than that the breakfast was great and hotel was clean and quiet.

The room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. The workout room had the basic equipment needed and was well maintained. The highlight was the breakfast buffet. We were pleasantly surprised with what was offered.

My impression of Hampton Inn is the hotel is very nice and clean! The staff are friendly. The breakfast really is HOT breakfast. Good coffee, breakfast sausage patties, Egg Benedict, waffle machine so you can make your own waffle. Plus the basic breakfast items such as toast, muffin, bagels, hot boil eggs, juice...etc. They have people cleaning the […] table for you too! My only complaint is the bed and the pillow are too soft. But it's just personal preferences. I didn't hear the helicopter or airplane noises. But my husband did. The place was really nice, we didn't get much sleep due to kids romping up above us, and then when they finally settled down, the next door room was so loud and partyed all night. but we still enjoyed the hotel, only i would not suggest it to anyone wanting a quiet stay.

We were very satisfied with Hamption Inn. Extremely clean and quite. Breakfast was awesome.

Great hotel for the price. Clean and comfortable room. Free breakfast is a $ saver. Definately recomend.

Clean, comfortable rooms with a friendly stafff. Hot breakfast buffet and the free parking is a plus. Definitely would stay here again.

like all Hamptons this one is clean and a good deal. The location was a little hidden but findable. The walls were a little thin however and I could hear conversations and televisions on until late in the night. But with the comfortable beds, one can go back to sleep easily enough. was very nice place. close to the beach, small air port, and resturants. people were very nice that work their. wish i could have stayed longer.

The staff bent over backwards to be welcoming from checking us in early, to giving special privaleges and meeting needs that made our short stay special. Breakfast and nice perk! We will be back! Just across the street from our destination B

Wonderful breakfast!

We had a king room and it was fine for sleeping. However, you really couldn't spend much time in the room unless you were alone and needed to do work at the desk.

The hotel was everthing I expected from the Hampton Inn. Very clean, great staff, nice breakfast and price. The only negative, the hotel was about 6 miles off the interstate. Wanted to stay outside of San Diego but never realize t he hotel was not convenient to the interstate.

We had a wonderful stay, room was very clean, the maid Angelina was awesome. Would like regular size pillows on the bed instead of four single bed size. If your retired and don't have children don't stay on the weekend. Legoland minures away and lots of kids during the weekend. Breakfast was excellent and they never ran out of food. My husband and I used to live in Carlsbad and this was one of our hotels we listed for our wedding. Since then we have moved to the East coast and decided to stay there while visiting friends. It is very clean, everything still looks brand new, and the pool was a plus (we forgot it had a pool.) The only issues we had: the handrail in the shower was […] too close to the shower head, I kept banging my elbow on it while washing my hair and the closet is a full length mirror, so the only door for hanging our hanger bag was the bathroom door. Otherwise, the beds were *really* comfy, the free wifi was a bonus, and the awesome breakfast (make your own waffles, egg & cheese omelettes, hasbrowns, sausage, fresh fruit, coffee, juice) included in the low rate made me feel good about staying a little further away from the water. We saved money and it only took about 5 minutes to get to the beach by car. (I think they have a free shuttle service within a 5 mile radius?) Devamı

This is a great hotel if you are visiting Legoland. Great comfortable room. Nice jacuzzi if you want to relax your legs. Very close to the park. Carlsbad is beautiful and the location is good. I have stayed at the Sheraton connecting to Legoland, but really, you pay extra for not using the venue if your trip there is to enjoy the park. This is the perfect hotel to stay in if you want to visit Legoland and there is so much going on in any direction. It is just less than 10 minutes from legoland which was perfect. There are resturants in all directions so you have so much choice of where to eat.The staff were absolutly perfect and the room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was good […] the only thing is you do need to go down early as it is always busy and yet the food just keeps on coming out. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. The check in was easy and so was the checkout. I would recomment this hotel in a heartbeat as the perfect family hotel. Devamı

New hotel, very friendly staff. Was able to checked in early with no problems. Free breakfast daily - good variety breakfast. The only thing is the Air conditioning is a little loud but everything else are awesome!! I cannot comment on the pool because I did not have time to use it.
