I needed a single room for one night. Price was right, though room was small. What made is worse is that the twin bed is built into the wall with only one open side. And the mattress was awful. There is a big wardrobe which made no sense. For a tiny room like that, you'd never need that much space. Take out the wardrobe and put the bed on casters, please. […] Bathroom was efficient, though. The hotel itself is nice, the room was simple but confortable, and it was a convenient distance from the metro station just nearby. However the reception staff were particularly unhelpful when it comes to asking for directions. I mean really unhelpful. For that reason I do not recommend this place.

The hotel was cheap and good and close to centrum. The internet connection however costed 7,5Euro, which I guess is ok. But the connection was terrible I could not work online at all.

The hotel is ok, nothing impressive...the location is good..the staff were not helpful at all and should smile more..the bathroom was tiny and the shower always leaked water onto the floor..the pillows were square and flat..ordered extra pillows, it took a day to get them. The room was dark and gloomy...no internet at all and we had to go to the nearest […] starbucks to check emails etc. We ended up moving to the Mark Apart hotel just down the road, which was much cheaper and nicer. We booked this Hotel for an Event in September, though the location was very good for us for the few days we stayed at the hotel, the room itself was a little too basic. They did however allow us to check in early which was good, the downside was that the room was on the 5th floor, and the lift was a little scary! WiFi access was P.A.Y.G. which wasnt […] that expensive however on the floor we were staying on the signal strenght was minimal, so really was a waste of time. Room was basic, TV that had only 1 english channel. We also found that the heating had been switched off when we got into the room, so it was very cold. Staff were very nice though and very pleasent. There was no refrigirator in the room

Positiv: Hotel liegt in der Nähe von 2 U-Bahn Stationen (U3 und U9), ist preiswert und wirklich sauber. Selbst dem Wunsch von zwei extra Duschhandtüchern wurde entsprochen - freilich kostenlos. Top Service! Negativ: Die Zufahrt zu den Hotelparkplätzen war ziemlich schmal. Mit Mittelklassewagen da hineinzufahren wird schon schwer! Der Aufgang der Nebentreppen […] war leider nicht so sauber wie die Lobby. Laubblätter und Co. sorgten für einen schlechten Eindruck. Aber im Großen und Ganzen und das für den Preis: EIN SUPER HOTEL! Ich würde wieder einchecken! ENGLISH: Positive: This Hotel is very close to two subway stations with the lines U3 and U9. It is very inexpensive and pretty clean. Even our request for two extra towels had been fulfilled - for free. That's a good service! Negative: The drive to the hotel parking area is very narrow. It's very hard to go through by a medium-sized vehicle. The backdoor stairways wasn't clean like the lobby was. Leafs and other things gave us a bad impression. But after all! A standard hotel which gave good value for money. Rooms were kept well, a quiet neighborhood within reasonable walking distance of the Ku'damm.

Nice hotel with good standard for a 3-star hotel. Clean room and nice lobby. Location is within 5-10 minutes walking of Kurfurstendam shopping street,but if you want to go more down-town Berlin (example Alexanderplatz), you need to take the U-bahn for 2 stops and then swith to S-bahn for 5 stops so total traveltime is around 30 minutes "door to doo […] r". When booking the hotel, i was nervous on the quality, but upon arrival i was STUNNED by a road lined with tress and a freindly neighbourhood, and the staff was quick to get us to our room,, the high ceiling spacious room was great, the shower was big enough for 2, and the MASSIVE bed was comfy,, It was a 7 min walk to the best underground that takes […] u everywhere in the city... Panorama Hotel in Prague is the best hotel in town, superb, luxuous, the personal stuff (receptionists, housekeepers, barmen, people at the spa...) is so nice, they always take care that everythings ok. Our room wa amazing, and i'll return there next time i'll come to prague!!!

This place is pretty good for the price. Clean, really comfortable beds, my room was pretty large, and had a balcony (as another reviewer mentioned, ask for this in your reservation). Reasonably convenient Downsides, they want something like 2 Euros and hour for wifi, and there's no AC to my knowledge. Normally in Berlin that's not too much of an issue, […] but the one day there it got somewhat uncomfortable. I'd definitely recommend this though if you don't want to blow a lot of money on a hotel. Very reasonably priced- only 10 mins from main shopping street and Bahnhof Zoo which connects to the airport. Would definitely stay there again. Very quite. Slept like a log.

Not the busiest neighboorhood nor the quietest, our hotel stay was pleasant. Would be nice for this hotel to have free Internet rather than paid.

Everything is great - loved the bed, clean and spacious, except the corridor door closed early in the morning and woke us up. So be aware light sleepers. I wonder if the management can do anything about this, as we are not the first one mention this.

Grat location, clean, quiet, efficient. Ask for room in back building with balcony. Don't waste your time on hotel wi-fi since a starbucks with free wi-fi is just sround the corner. The location of the hotel is superb. Pay for parking for car via a resudntial voucher you can get t front desk

Overall the experience is great, but we were woken up by the banging door early in the morning. We would say the management could add some padding on the door frame and easily fix this. So light sleeper be aware!

Quite neighborhood but close to major mall/galleria and park. Great breakfast buffet at reasonable cost.

I stayed in a standard single room, which was almost as big as the double rooms in some other hotels and had a large bathroom with a shower. The room was very clean (and cleaned nicely every day by the staff). The beds are decently comfortable. The room was a bit cold on cool spring nights, so bring warmer pajamas or ask for an extra blanket if you're […] cold. The hotel is in an old but renovated building, which means strange winding corridors, narrow doors, creaky floors, thin walls, etc. but overall it is not that hard to find your way around (some doors do not have signs, which can be confusing). The building itself is located in a quiet, green sidestreet, though it's only a few minutes walk to an U-Bahn station, 8 minutes to the bustling Ku'damm, and 15 minutes to Zoologischer Garten S-Bahn stop. So skip the overpriced breakfast and grab something from a grocery store or the station shops instead. The hotel staff was friendly, though upon check-out the young woman behind the counter refused to hang up the phone (she was clearly chatting with a friend about vacation plans, not anything business-related) and just took my room key without a word. I wasn't sure whether she was done or not, so after waiting a few more minutes I just left. Very strange, hence the lower rating for staff. staff were very friendly, and considerate, and helped us make the best our stay. Our room, over the square at the back, was very peaceful, spacious, and comfortable.

The hotel is an easy walk to Kudamn St and Zoo S + U bahn. The room was the comfort double and is a very generous size. The building has a slightly older charm about it. Room was clean and bathroom was nice.

However the internet did not work well in my room, or anywhere else in the hotel but the small lobby. I desperately needed to get some work done so I had to check out early and move to a different hotel.

This was in a quaint neighborhood, but not too far away from many of the fabulous shopping areas and sights of Berlin.

Really nice hotel. The people at reception were really helpful on how to get places and nice places to eat, good places to shop etc. Spoke really good english. Internet was pretty slow but it was reasonably cheap and convenient. Was about at 20min leisurely walk into town otherwise there was a subway stop about 1 min walk away. The hotel is very close to the metro station and the area is safe to walk at night. The room is small but very clean. Nice shower. Friendly receptions. Good value for money.

I stayed for 3 nights in the Metropolitan Hansa. The room was a single room which was small but very comfortable. The room was clean and new towels provided every day. There is no restaurantt in the Hotel. The Hotel is very close to two metro stations, less than 5 minutes walk. Very close to U-Bahn lines. Simple, clean rooms. Very helpful and friendly staff. The Hof got loud (when windows were open). I'll definitely return at this price (with 40% summer sale from hotels.com).

This hotel was reasonably priced and only a 5 minute walk to two subway lines, and only 2 stops from the main metro hub of the Zooligischer Garten, so it was very convenient to access and also get to the train station and airport using public transit. Our room was very clean and bigger than expected, with really high ceilings and huge windows. We had […] a little trouble finding the hotel because we didn't get directions and street numbering is a little odd, so I would recommend getting directions before you go. Really nice modern small hotel. Location is excellent as it's walking distance to one of the busy shops/bars areas etc and the Irish bar at the europer centre. It is also really close to a u bahn stn so u can get around Berlin easyily. Hotel was lovely and clean, perfect 4 a city break. Good shower and good plasma tv with a few eng channels. Hotel has obviously been renovated from some other use. The bathroom is spacious and modern. The bedroom is a little cramped. There is very little space between the foot of the bed and the wall, and a wardrobe takes up a lot of space. The neighborhood is very quiet. There are a few pubs and restaurants nearby, as well as a grocery store. And, a few […] Metro stops are several minutes away, getting you everywhere you want to go. The elevator is probably the slowest I have ever encountered, which is really just humorous, and has no impact on the quality of the stay. Except it should be noted that the elevator stops at mid-points on the stairwell, so even if you take the elevator, you will need to go up or down a half-flight of stairs. Devamı

A rather spartan hotel set in pleasant leafy surroundings. Metro about 100 metres away so easy for getting to the centre. Ku'damm also comfortably walkable. Staff were pleasant, polite and helpful. Room at the back of the hotel was very quiet. Both room and en suite spotlessly clean. Toiletries supplied - soap above the hand basin, squeezy conbined […] shampoo and shower gel in the shower - were meagre but adequate. Fine as a base for a few days if you are spending most of the time out and about, but a longer stay might prove to be a bit gloomy. No English language TV channel. My understanding of German is not bad so I wasn't too bothered but others might find this frustrating. Beware - Channel 1 goes soft-porno after midnight! Devamı

We stopped in this hotel for two nights on our way to Leipzig. The room was an impressive size, with a nice double bed and a balcony. The street outside was leafy and clean, and the shower room was small but adequate for two nights stay. The staff were friendly and helpful and reception always seemed to have someone available. The downsides were that […] this hotel was quite far from some of the attractions we wanted to see, and so we had to spend a lot of time travelling on the underground and train system. However, this hotel is good value for money and public transport there is also pretty cheap, so financially it was a good deal. Other downside was that there was no kettle or other refreshment faciltiies in the room so remember to take a travel one or bring in your own refreshments. On balance though I would say that we had a pleasant stay in this hotel, and would recommend it to a traveller who is looking for a few nights stay in Berlin and doesn't mind travelling to the City's many attractions. Recommended. Nice simple hotel with friendly English speaking staff in a quiet part of Berlin which is nevertheless 2 minutes from a U-bahn or 5 from Zoologischer Garten (which gets you anywhere). Not very handy to the Haupt Bahnhof but there are plenty of Metro stations nearby. The hotel was very clean and comfortable. No breakfast and we couldn't find a cafe nearby, so we were quite hungry by the time we made it to the centre of the city. It might be easier to find something in the summer.

This is a fairly basic hotel with a few "boutique" design additions (primarily in the lobby). Experienced budget travellers will be fine, but it is not definitely for those who want a lot of amenities or need a lot of service. My single room would have been a bit more comfortable had the hotel not placed the too-large-for-the-room armoir right in the […] middle. The hotel is located right by a U-bahn station, making it easy to get around. It was well furnished and you can't beat the price.

This hotel is in a great location, the 100 bus is just down the road and takes you to the centre of alexanderplatz. Nice little bars around the area and a lovely friendly italian resturant just over the road, and is VERY cheaply priced. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpfull. Vi havde et fint ophold, og var især glade for beliggenheden, som var vores første prioritet.

Relativ guenstig und zentral gelegen, aber fuer wenig mehr findetn man in Berlin bessere Unterkuenfte. Das Zimmer war sehr klein und spartanisch eingerichtet.

Har nu bott på detta hotell tre gånger i olika typer av rum, Comfort, Normalt och Mini. Alla typer är OK men generellt är sängarna inte så bekväma som man hade önskat. I övrigt ett trevligt hotell med bra läge. Fortfarande svagt att inte WIFI är gratis.
