The room & building needed repairs. Our room location was noisy. Our door rattled every time other doors in the hotel opened & closed.

The room I was assigned has plumbing problems, the toilet leaked, the shower did not drain all the way, and if anyone on the second floor turned on any water my sink made noises and water would back fill the sink. When I said something to the night clerk she was not surprised not offered to change my room...when I said something to the day manager he […] simply said that room was suppose to be blocked and no one assigned to it, yes they knew of the plumbing problem, he apologized but offered no compensation for a mix up! The bathroom in our assigned room (101) was not cleaned, in fact the toilet was still full and NOT FLUSHED. Toilet set was filthy!Hotel is old and run down and the room smelled.

When we arrived to find the pool was closed til Feb!! That was THE only reason we chose that hotel and since our room was already paid for I feel someone should have e-mailed us. Also the hotel had no sound proof structure and you could hear inside peoples room, kids running up and down stairs.

Okay. Pretty bad choices for restaurants in the area. PhotoL ooks bigger than it is. Breakfast very spare. Lamp between bed not plugged in and couldn't find a plug for it. Comfortable chairs. Front desk person hard to find. Mixed bag.

A favorite of folks with dogs -- it seemed that everyone but us had one. Mom-and-pop family diner was next door -- total for supper, two people, was less than $15, but don't look for a glass of wine or salad. Beds were more comfortable than most, and room appeared clean but was uninspired. Breakfast included yogurt, cereal, sausage, egg patties to make […] into egg biscuits, waffles: there was space in the breakfast fridge for boiled eggs but none provided, and not quite enough places for everyone to sit. Overall, hotel was adequate but overpriced at about one hundred dollars, and your hotel points plan won't work if booked via this third party. The harried-looking clerk said we should had called the hotel directly for a better rate. Hotel was several miles from downtown, where there was a wider selection of resturants. Devamı

It was adequate for short term stays, clean, breakfast was good. Not many places to stay in this area. Hotel was convenient to interstate. Staff were very nice.

If you must stop in wytheville, which I did, then this experience was decent value. The hotel seems older, and running down a tad. Compared to other comfort brands, this was a little below average, but not by much. It was what I expected, sans the tub drain not working well. This hotel is on the south side of whytheville, so if you want to go to diner […] in town, that's back about 5 miles. The stucco in the bathroom on the walls was falling off everywhere. We got a roll a way bed and it was awful. You might as well have been sleeping on the springs. Replace the mattresses for crying out loud.

I stopped here for an overnight en route from DC to Nashville. The hotel is very close to the highway and I thought it would be noisy, however, this is the quietest place I have stayed outside of a tent on a mountain. The hotel was quaint and nicely decorated. Overall, we had a decent stay, except the fact that the floors were all wood floors, so you could hear alot of noise from the rooms above and around you.

Stayed here on a trip to VA. This hotel is beat up and has seen better days. They have tried to fix it up and put some new paint on the walls. The gym was a wreck, nothing worked. Room was small and the remote did not match the new TV they had put in the room.

Hotel was great overall. A little difficult to find (call for directions... don't trust your GPS) but worth staying. Having staying in 4-5 hotels in the Wytheville area, I will definitely recommend this one, and plan on staying again.

Directions to this hotel from Google maps was inaccurate and at 11:30 PM was not welcome. Staff pleasant, rooms clean, quiet, breakfast was welcome but you need to be choosy for it to be healthy.

I have stayed in a lot of comfort inns, but this one did not stand up to the rest. The first non-smoking room was smokey. After switching, the second room smelled of dog pee. We found the spot on the rug..yuk. Could not change a second time aso we just covered the spot with a towel. Breakfast was not great. I was extremely satisfied with my hotel stay at the Comfort Inn Max Meadows. The hotel was clean and decorated very nicely. There was a pay washer/dryer on my floor which was convenient. We stopped here overnight, and had a comfortable stay. Everything was clean and well kept. Appreciated the fridge in the room, where we were able to store a few things from our cooler! The complimentary breakfast was fine. Would stay here again.

Very nice hotel with all amenities. Reasonable location, but be sure to eat before you come unless Denny's or McDonald's is your thing. Good breakfast, clean room, plenty of hot water (3 women showering), free wifi. Overall good experience. Would stay again.

We stopped here on a trip to DC. The room was great, service was great, breakfast was great -- the only negative thing at all was that the walls were a little thin. We were distrubed by the people upstairs who walked and walked and walked until well after midnight and it sounded like elephants overhead.

Room was clean, service was friendly. My fault that we got to complimentary breakfast late, it was packed. Not enough seating for breakfast. That is my only negative. Everything else was great.

The location was right on the highway but there was nothing really to do or see close by. Highly recommend the "Log House" in the nearby town for a unique dining experience. Food was very good and reasonably priced.

Good enough for a night's sleep but nothing special; extra clean, no view, not in great area. Had a pet and discovered that the smallest rooms close to elevator were reserved for "pet" occupants. Room seemed stripped of all but basics. Bed comfortable. In morning housekeeper knocks despite "do not disturb" sign on the door at 9am, saying that computers […] are down.
