We really enjoy staying at this hotel... This was our second time staying there. The only problem was that the pool was out of service for 4 days & had to be drained because the chemicals weren't right... That was a little difficult with kids, but we could still use the pool at the athletic club.

This hotel is so dark; the only good places in the hotel were out by the pool

The rooms are paper thin walls, all the noise is heard.

Was only able to use the fitness center for 1 day, but was able to get in two classes. It is a really nice facility if you liket o work out when on vacation or on buisness. The room was also very nice. The bed was comfy and the bathroom was updated. The continental breakfast is nothing to write home about, unless you are not into healthy eating, than […] it is okay. We were disappointed in the quality of this Hotel. We stayed in a room which faced north - which, for January in Scottsdale - was cold. The room was not comfortable. It was dark. The walls were painted a dark tan, which is ok - except there needed to be more lights - or, the light bulbs should be a higher wattage. The #1 complaint we had was the mattress […] protector. It was a polyester material that was very slick and moved around while sleeping. Overall, we will NEVER stay at this hotel again!! Devamı

Beautiful surroundings, quiet neighborhood, overall the place was great. The athletic club was amazing, I got to use all the pilates equipments they have in a pretty large room with mirrors on one side. My only concern would be the breakfast they serve. not so much variety, I ended up having breakfast at a Starbucks nearby.

The resort was very nice big rooms and great bed close to everything food grocery and the major highway the staff was so helpful I was amazed we were there for the Barrett Jackson car event and even though it was very crowded we seemed alone there they olny thing sortof wrong was the continental breakfast could have been a little better but it was continental […] and it did have fresh fruit so it was just as it stated overall 5 rating Devamı

Unassuming entrance, very large comfortable rooms great for couples seeking privacy. Pool was heated and clean. We were met at midnight by a very friendly. Front desk person, and we're impressed by the positive helpful attitude. The hotel is off the beaten path but still close to everywhere we wanted to go. The price was half the larger hotels through […] hotels.com and we used the savings to eat out at the nice restraunts in the area. Why pay resort fees if you don't need to. Not necessarily that great for kids, but that just made it nicer for us. Devamı

Very comfy beds, nice pool (was a little chilly to spend too much time there, but not the hotel's fault). Service was really good, front desk was very friendly and responsive.

It's a great idea to have a hotel/athletic club combination -- although it turned out I didn't have time to use the fitness center. (My problem, not theirs). The room was very nice, stylish, comfortable and well equipped with microwave, fridge, coffee etc...but the big drawback was no Internet availability despite the description that free wi-fi was […] available in all rooms (that was one of the main reasons I booked there). The wi-fi didn't work at all, despite the desk clerk re-setting the server. They gave me an ethernet cord, but there was no outlet in the room to connect it to! I complained about this at check-out, and they said yeah, they were going to change their Internet company and upgrade the system (no real appreciation for the problem, and no offer of anything to compensate, not even an apology). Many people like myself depend heavily on Internet connectivity to do business when they travel, so this was a huge disappointment. Other minor problems: no hairdryer supplied (I had to ask and to wait until the next morning to get one), and the light outside the room's window was very bright (fortunately I travel with eye patches to use in the airplane, so that didn't bother me much). I could handle the minor issues, but I would only stay there again AFTER they upgrade their Internet. Devamı

We were very impressed with the hotel and all of the amemities. We spent a lot of time at the gym and pool. Very quiet and off the street. This was the first time we stayed in Scottsdale ,Az. I would recomend this hotel ! Close to Shopping and resturants. Wish they had more to offer for breakfast .

Definitely not the worst place I've stayed but no where near the quality I expected from a Scottsdale hotel. This place was furnished in the 1980s and is in major need of repair and maintenance work. The bed was alright for just one night but the pillows were really lacking.

Don't expect good internet service, but overall the service was very good and staff helpfull. I left behind my suitcase and had to rush back to the hotel with little time to chase my plane. The person at the front desk personally went back to my room and retrieved my belongings and had them ready for me at the front desk for me to grab and go (and made […] my flight). no sitting area small room therefore too costly

great athletic club on site with classes all included, length swimming and resort pools, quiet, close to highway for quick access to surrounding area, phone didn't work my entire stay - so they waived the upgrade charge to a suite (thank you!) which included a full kitchen and balcony, friendly helpful staff, continental breakfast included, hotels.com […] honoured their lowest rate guarantee by giving me a refund for the difference (30% refund), safe location (I am a single female). The hotel lobby has a nice fire place. And coming back to the lobby in the afternoon and sitting in front of the fire place felt very comfortable.

The hotel was very quiet and convenient. Our stay was quite enjoyable.

I found this place on Hotels.com sight unseen. Was just looking for a getaway with my husband for the night and the price was reasonable. When I arrived to check in I thought it was at best average at sight. When I went into the room I was utterly in shock at how absolutely gorgeous it was. It is definitely one of the nicest places we have ever stayed […] at. The Villa was so beautifully decorated and had anything and everything we needed, I could have stayed there for at least a week easy. I will most defintely be returning. Amazing place!! In transit from Flagstaff to San Diego so loaction and other attributes don't really apply. Wonderful tennis courts and other facilities. Very good value.

We enjoyed our 2 night stay. Hotel was clean and spacious and the staff was friendly and helpful. Good location. Very quiet location back from the street. Would recommend to others.

hotel in off location...looks to be struggling....avg at best

This hotel seems a bit secluded despite it being in Scottsdale, but we enjoyed our stay. The staff was very friendly and our one issue was dealt with properly by the management (so I won't mention it!). We upgraded to a suite which was just ok. We felt the layout was strange but we did enjoy the extra room. The bed was extremely comfortable, the room […] was clean and our balcony was very nice. The adjacent gym was fantastic. The spa was nice too but the hours were only 10am to 4pm. I couldn't get a massage the first day because we arrived at 530pm. I did find a nice spa nearby in a Mall called Dolce and they were able to accommodate a later appt. I used the hotel's spa on our last day and it was very nice, a bit overpriced, but nice. All in all, very nice place. We'd definately stay again. Devamı

The people and the staff were friendly. I'm definitley going back the next time I'm in the Phoenix area!

OMG, this was the best hotel stay my husband and I have had in a very long time. The pictures on line actually did the hotel a total injustice. It was somewhat homey and beautiful at the same time. It had all the conveniences of home. I had a facial at the spa and I was totally impressed with Dawn and her skills. We ate at the restaurant first night […] there and again the hostess Don made our dining experience pleasurable. Gabrielle was one of the front desk receptionist and she was so bubbly and charming. We plan on making this our resort of choice when we visit the Phoenix/Scottsdale area again. Devamı

I loved the pools and all the free activites offered to us.

I travel 45% of my time and had I not checking in so late (10pm) I would have gone to another property. The room has a bad feel, it's old and dingy looking. The staff is very nice, but the room was so unpleasant.

We are a family of 4 (with 2 kids age 9 and 10) and needed a large hotel room that could accommodate all of us with sensible sleeping options. The newly remodeled large room with separate king bed and pull-out sofa we booked online was perfect for us. The complementary breakfast was too Continental for our taste, so we started to use the build-in kitchen […] in our room and made our own. A close shopping mall was close enough to quickly get some groceries for lunch or our daily afternoon coffee prepared in our kitchen and enjoyed on the balcony. The restaurant belonging to the adjacent gym and tennis courts had some basic things on their menu. It's acceptable for a fast dinner, but not recommended if you look for more elaborate menu options. My wife and I enjoyed the complementary well equipped, well maintained and professional gym with lap pool. Again the hotel had anything we wanted and the kids played hours in the hotel pool and rode their bicycles around the hotel grounds. This hotel is perfect for active people who play tennis or want to visit one of the many golf courses of Scottsdale. We definitely would recommend this hotel and would go there again. Devamı

Could not be happier with the Hotel and Staff.

I have been to nicer places that cost less. For the price, next time I would stay somewhere else. Like I said, Just OK. They could aslo benefit by getting some newer TV's and VCR's for the rooms. Maybe if they improved those features, I would be more likely to stay there again.

The location was perfect! It was close to a grocery store & a train park. It is a great place for families!!! We had plenty of room & the kids loved the childcare at the athletic club... It was a great hotel & we are going to go back again!!

The prior reviews were dead on. The rooms are clean and well appointed and the bed comfortable. However, if there was somneone staying next door, you can hear most of their activities, they sneeze, you hear it. If their TV is on, i hope you are watching the same show. My problem with this is the hotel had a 25% occupancy, but they fill each building […] so it was packed for all practical purposes. If they had spread everyone out, it would not be a big deal. The restaurant does not open till 8:00AM, my meetings started at 7:30. Sure would be nice to grab a bite before you start the day w/o leaving the hotel. I tried to get a massage, their hours were very limited, last appointment at 3:00. I did not get out of meetings till after 4:00 Devamı

There wasn't too many other people around. It was kind of scary being on a side where it seemed there was no avtivity, and where the back of the hotel sits a city canal.

the first room i was in did not have hot water, the fan on the patio was not operating and the bathroom shower/bath was broken..i was very kindly moved next door with a roim upgrade however the floors & carpet were very dirty. overall deferred maintenance once addressed, this is a great property with full kitchen laundry living room patio. large bed […] and bath..lots of walk areas and close to pool. The hotel / resort was very nice. It was not over crowded. The staff was extremely pleasent and friendly. The room was great, they gave me an upgrade to a 1 bedroom, extremely nice of them. It had a full kitchen and dinning room. seperate bedroom. I did not use the spa facilities, because it's just not my thing, however they did look very good, nice, […] clean. Even though I was early in arriving, I was able to get my room. Again it was very nice of the resort to do so. I will stay again if I am in AZ again Devamı
