CBD Qianyuan International Business Hotel - Pekin

This hotel was simply satisfactory. The staff speaks almost no English and the neighborhood is totally Chinese. It's not in a tourist area. It's only about a 10-minute walk from the subway, but the opposite direction from where the tourist area is.

Fairly standard cheap hotel, big rooms, clean, comfortable and everything you'd expect for the price bracket. Make sure you find out where it is on the map independently of the booking websites as it's between two stations - not a big walk but if you don't speak Chinese it might be tricky to work out where it is. Nothing special, but I was expecting […] a very basic room and I got a very big basic and comfortable room. It could do with an upgrade in a year or so but it's a lot better than some other places. Pretty good value for money Only glitch was housekeeping "forced open" the door on a rainy Sunday morning. Good thing I latched the door!

Location is great, 5 min from two different subway station. A lot of local restaurant just beneath. Close to raffel shopping center where you have free wireless at several coffee shops. Rooms nice but small. Maintenance below expected. Rooms are a bit noisy since the hotel is located directly at a pretty heavy traffic road. 夜９時過ぎにホテル到着。フロントには２名の若い女性が立っており、チェックインしたい旨言いましたが、挨拶もなし。一名は下を向いたまま顔を上げず、もう一名は本当に面倒くさそうに対応。 ルームキーを渡されたが、それは客室ではなく、ホテルの事務室のカードキー。 唖然としました。ビックリカメラかと。 フロントに戻ってルームキーを交換しましたが、お詫びの一言も無い。 こんな経験は中国を含めて初めてです。 ある意味いい経験をしました。 翌朝、早朝のチェックアウト時は若い男でしたら、この男はいたって普通の対応。 他にも言いたい事は盛り沢山ですが、他にホテルが全くなければ別ですが、宿泊すべきではありません。

Got upgraded to a suite, very big room with little furniture, but the room was very dark because there was no ceiling light. All lighting was dim and made it quite uncomfortable. Room is clean but not new, for the price they charge it was reasonable. Make sure to call the hotel ahead of time to reconfirm any additional requests made during online booking […] - i.e. late check in/out, smoking/non-smoking room, etc. I called the hotel ahead of time and realized they almost missed my reservation. このホテルの周りは眠らない街と言われていて、一晩中飲食店が営業しています。店数もかなりあり、今回は利用しませんでしたが、楽しいところです。近代的な北京を望んでいる人には向きませんが、私は食べ歩きたいのでいいロケーションだと思います。 価格もホテルの質の割には安い。
