Relais Borgo San Pietro - Cortona

We had a great stay, staff was very nice and we had a very pleasant dinner the day we arrived. Local wine was delicious and the food was very tasteful. Breakfast was also great. Cortona is very charming and we ate also at a very nice restaurant called Dardanos.

This is a beautiful Tuscan Inn - a place to truly unwind during an Italy vacation. Scents of lavender, marvelous breakfast (homemade yogurt), a pool overlooking the Italian countryside and a beautifully furnished room created a perfect respite for us. Relais Borgo San Pietro was absolutely charming- very attentive staff, wonderful breakfast in a picture-perfect room- we hated to check out. Have always stayed at another farmhouse inn, but will return here, for sure. Very close to the market on Sat. mornings- one of our reasons for coming to Cortona.

Welcomed as we stepped out of the car by a warm smile and greeting from the lovely Italian receptionist who was oh so charming. Lovely set up in very large gardens and large pool i tranquil setting. Breakfasts were just right with prompt service from yet another lovely and cute staff member who was full of smiles and happy to help. Very spacious room […] with good pillows and large comfy bed, nice en-suite that was immaculately clean with the nicest toiletries. All in all a very nice hotel that we are happy to recommend and will return to. Beautiful grounds & pool, great rooms, nice people, perfect location for Cortona (5 min drive) and surrounding hill towns. Would definitely stay again. They also own a place in Cortona proper (no grounds), next to which is the best restaurant in town.

A causa di un disguido sulla chiusura della struttura per fine stagione abbiamo soggiornato presso l'hotel San Michele nel centro di Cortona:personale gentilissimo e disponibile ha riparato in maniera eccellente al disguido coccolandoci sotto tutti gli aspetti:ottimo il servizio e molto buona la colazione.Quindi il nostro gradimento è relativo a questa […] struttura anche se ci è rimasta la voglia comunque di ritornare prossimamente presso il relais perché è una struttura molto bella ,immersa nel verde e circondata dalle campagne della bellissima Cortona. Dieses Hotel ist ein typisches toskanisches Landgut! In einer wunderschönen Anlage gelegen ist ist es entfernt von Lärm und Abgasen. Nur die Zufahrt - es ist eine sehr staubige Naturstraße mit Schlaglöchern - lässt zu wünschen übrig! Man kann hier aber richtig relaxen. Das Frühstück ist ausreichend, leider nicht unbedingt als abwechslungsreich zu bezeichnen, […] aber doch wesentlich besser als in den meisten anderen italienischen Hotels gleicher Kategorie. Die Standardzimmer sind für zwei Personen unserer Meinung nach zu klein, vor allem kann man kaum Gepäck abstellen. Doch gibt es ein größeres Zimmer gegen eine geringe Aufzahlung mit genügend Platzangebot! Das Swimmingpool liegt traumhaft mit schöner Aussicht auf Cordona. Zwar haben wir vom Restaurantangebot keinen Gebrauch gemacht, da wir immer unterwegs waren, doch die aufgelegte Speisekarte lässt doch einige Freude aufkommen. Das Hotel ist für den Besuch der östlichen Toskana und auch Umbriens bestens geeignet, die Bedienung sehr freundlich und bemüht, das Service vorzüglich. Die Zimmer wurden immer sehr sauber gehalten. Equipe bem treinada e muito simpática. Localização muito agradável numa propriedade rural com todas as melhores características da Toscana. Conforto e segurança.
