Hotel Byron - Venedik

An old hotel with grandeur but under maintained. The hotel is in a nice quiet location close to the beach and 5 min walk from cafees, restaurants and a few shops. The main sights are 20 min away. Good service from very friendly staff.

Stayed for 3 nights for a Venice city break. The Lido is ideal for popping into see the sights of Venice but provides a restbite from the hustle and bustle. The hotel is a 10 min walk to the water bus stop and only 3 mins from the beach. The rooms were clean and quite spacious and we got lucky with a balcony. For the price, would recommend it.

We stayed in Hotel Byron for 4 nights. We had joined double rooms which was convenient for 2 adults and 2 children. The staff at reception were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is old and a little shoddy in places .. but it was very clean. The breakfast was quite basic but the service at breakfast time was awful. Each morning we had to clear tables […] ourselves before sitting down. The hotel has no bar in evening and the wifi access was very poor. It was very convenient to the beach and local restaurants and cafes. It could do with a makeover but overall it was quite satisfactory. Devamı

Very kind, good english speaking staff. Hotel is located at Lido di Venecia in a residential area and a very good choice for people travelling by car. Hotel itself has no parkings but around the Hotel are places with free parking. At least during the week. Transportation with Vaporetto to Venice is perfekt. Only 5 Minutes walk. Nice hotel with friendly staff. Room was clean and there was lots of space for two people. Bathroom had a walk-in shower. Room had a working air conditioning. Breakfast was typical Italian breakfast. There was croissants, yogurt, "fruit"juice and thats it. But not disappointing because this kind of a breakfast is more a rule than exception in south […] Europe. Hotel Byron is well past it's heyday (probably in the 1920s or so), but the current incarnation is nice enough and very cheap, by Venice standards. It's on Lido di Venizia, which isn't Venice proper, for better or worse. Lido is like any beach resort town you'd find--lot's of hotels, vacation homes, and tacky overpriced restaurants all serving the same […] food. But it's easy enough to get to the main tourist sites using the vaporetti and it's right by the beach. The hotel was clean but old. Breakfast was awful--stale cereal and dry bread. The staff were friendly enough and spoke decent English. When I booked it wasn't quite the high season yet and we payed half what any other hotel in Venice would have charged. First room I got was very hot as the air con was not working. I moved to another room - no air con but cooler. One issue I had was the problem getting water from the bar at night. There was no bottled water available from the bar on two occasions. Given the high temperatures and lack of air con the hotel staff need to address this. Das Hotel ist deutlich in die Jahre gekommen. Überbordende Service - Orientierung braucht man hier nicht zu fürchten. Wer den diskreten Charme vergangener Zeiten mag, dem kann es hier gefallen. Wir waren Ende Oktober im Hotel Byron und hatten einen Balkon. Das war klasse. Ohne wäre das Zimmer schwer erträglich gewesen (Nur fürs Schlafengehen groß genug.) […] Wer gerne abblätternden Putz in Badezimmern fotografgiert, darf schon mal einen Film bereit halten. Das Preis - Leistungs-Verhältnis war okay - und für Venedig richtig gut. Wir hatten eine sehr gute Zeit, aber inwieweit das Hotel dazu beitrug? Da bin ich nicht ganz sicher ... Devamı

Herligt ældgammelt hotel med masser af charme. Hjælpsomt og venligt personale WF er alt for dyr, men hurtig. Morgenmad med frugt, musli kager der bages på hotellet, croissanter og god ost og pølse. Alt i alt elskeligt hotel

great location, so easy to get to lots place. 5min walk to the private beach,u just take ur stuff there dont need to pay for enterance, have shower in ur hotel. Lots lovely ibfos just ask the hotel. 10~15min walk to main street, where have big super-market&shops.

Chambre impeccable avec un immense lit parental, un très bon lit d'appoint pour notre fils de 5 ans et un lit bébé avec un vrai matelas pour notre petit dernier. Salle d'eau très propre (très grande douche), des petits accessoires de lavage en cadeau et des serviettes en grande quantité. La décoration est certes désuète mais cela présente un certain […] charme. Le ménage est fait tous les jours, serviettes propres tous les jours. La climatisation fonctionnait et heureusement (37° en moyenne)! Le petit-déjeuner est très chouette : croissants, yoghourts, fruits frais, beurre, confiture, pains, biscottes à volonté. Les jus sont très sucrés et artificiels mais le reste est plus que convenable. Le jardin est très agréable. L'hôtel est à 200M de la plage dans une rue très calme : cela fait beaucoup de bien après l'agitation dans Venise. Le personnel est agréable, souriant mais ne parle pas le français. Nous avons été agréablement surpris après certains commentaires négatifs. Nous sommes ravis de notre séjour et comptons y retourner. Devamı

Das Hotel strahlt das Ambiente vergangenen Glanzes von Venedigs Lido aus. In sehr angenehmer Atmosphäre mit Gartenterrasse, sehr reichhlatigem Frühstücksbüffet und freundlichem Service konnten wir eine sehr schöne Zeit dort verbringen. Wir kommen wieder. Einziger Mangel: fehlende Klimaanlage

Очень хороший отель, расположен рядом с пляжем ( 5 мин.), рядом с главной улицей с магазинами и ресторанами (5 мин.) и остановкой вапоретто (10-15 мин.), с которой отправляются корабли до Венеции ( 3 остановки до площади Сан-Марко). Персонал очень доброжелательный и готовый помочь, мне очень помогли выяснить недоразумение с предыдущим отелем в Милане […] и дали выбрать номер из нескольких, т.к. у меня был день рождения во время пребывания в отеле. Комнаты большие, ванные тоже. А еще очень понравилось завтракать во дворе, под магнолией, и сам завтрак тоже хороший. Рекомендую этот отель. Loistava sijainti jos haluat ottaa breikin Venetsian väenpaljoudesta. Vesibussit kulkee nopeasti Lidon saarelle ja hotellilta on vain 5min rannalle. Hotelli ei ole mikään luksuspaikka, mutta jos suunnittelet viettäväsi aikaa muualla kuin hotellihuoneessa, niin Byron on hyvä valinta. Palvelu pelasi, henkilökunta oli ystävällistä.

The hotel is located 10 minutes walk from the waterbus and 5 from the beach. Hotel Byron is a majestic but warn down and have absolutely seen better days kind of hotel. That been said I thought it was a perl I love these old Hotels with a lot of charm. Es un privilegio caminar tan solo 50m. por la misma calle M. Bragadini cruzando la calle Lungomare y encontrar la playa pública.

Hotel antiguo situado en el Lido de Venecia. Cómodo, muy atentos en recepción, limpio y desayuno tipo buffet escaso. El mayor inconveniente es que es muy antiguo y no se corresponde su situación real con lo recogido en la web.

Sehr grosses Zimmer, für zwei Personen schon erstaunlich, grosses Badezimmer, alles sehr sauber. Ruhig gelegen, nahe vom Lido und Morgens bei offenem Fenster ein Vogelkonzert von Schönsten. Frühstück einfach. Leider war der Kaffee fast ungeniessbar, haben das aber später in Richtung Stadt nachgeholt. Prsonal sehr freundlich.

belle situation, un peu loin cependant de l'embarcadère pour Venise. Accueil moyen, très anonyme; état des chambre très moyen pour un trois étoiles (douche défectueuse, tapis de bain avec un trou énorme...). Petit déjeuner sympa dans une belle salle à manger donnant sur un jardin.

For å være 3-stjerners hotell er Vime Byron Hotel ganske greit å bo i. Hyggelig, blide og hjelpsomme mennesker som jobber der forutenom en... ble møtt av en afrikaner som jobber der. Han ga oss ikke akkurat det beste inntrykket første gangen. Gruet oss hver gang han var på jobb. Ikke kunne han forstå så mye engelsk og virket så oppgitt hver gang. Pass […] på å kjøpe noe fra ham, kan lure dere med veksel. Frokost er ikke noe å skryte av, men mett blir du;) Ikke langt å gå til stranden. Ulempene er at de ikke har minibar og hårføner. Så drikke kunne man ikke ha med seg hvis ikke man likte det varmt:s Foruten det lille negative var vi kjempe fornøyde!! Koselig sted og stille strøk. Devamı

Personal: gewandt, sehr zuvorkommend, z.T. bestes Englisch Hotel: gepflegt, gediegene Austattung, ausgezeichnetes Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis. Wir hatten 2 Zimmer zur Auswahl, eines mit sehr guten Matratzen, das andere mit einem etwas sehr weichem französischen Bett. We were a bit apprehensive when booking Vime Byron as one of the hotels previous guest had commented "never VB again". After staying there myself I cannot understand why anyone would say this. Yes, the receptionist were never smiling much and the room does get very warm without air condition, but the hotel provided us with a nice fan and the room was […] nice and big. The out door terrasse is a great place to have break fast and is partly shady and partly sunny, which ever you prefer. The beach is 10 min from the hotel, just make sure you don't enter the private beach which is closer to the hotel. You'll know from all the tents and huts. Venice is a 13 Euro boat ride away and well worth the money considering the prices of hotels in the city center. We paid 60 Euro for one room, and it was well worth the money. I do see now that prices are higher in August (we went in July) so make sure you don't pay more than it's worth. Quiet and nice area. Did not have a balcony, though. One thing to note: Lido is slightly like staying at a resort somewhere in the Grand Canaries; lots of tourist who are there to sunbathe and eat. If you want to get away from the crowds, Lido (or Venice for that matter) is not the place to stay Devamı

Rien à redire, rien d'enthousiasmant non plus. Jolie vue sur la frondaison et la mer du dernier étage. Le moins : mini télé avec des chaines en italien only, ascenseur sinistre et surtout, surtout: un mauvais café au petit déjeuner, ce qui est fort dommage en Italie où il est bon dans le plus modeste bistrot
