Overall positive impression, but guests need to be aware that accommodations in Barstow can be (very) crowded, and come with associated noise levels. Here, guests were greeting by a big party in the adjacent area to the reception ...

The staff was wonderful. I had my grandkids with me and the baby made a mess during breakfast. The breakfast staff was so kind and understanding. The front desk was also extremely helpful, even came up to my room to help me set up the crib I brought. The room was huge, comfortable, with awesome beds and linens. We stay at Hampton Inn Suites when we go to Barstow for Off Road Racing. It is a perfect location near desert off road racing and also Barstow and Shopping Outlet. The Queen Suite is perfect.

We diverted off the I-5 and got to Barstow , only to find the roadways on all stop into LA also. It was really lucky that the plan to stop in Barstow had congealed earlier in the day . Our drive down to Phoenix was pleasant and the Barstow Hampton was out life raft in the sea of traffic we were able to avoid.

I really wanted to give this hotel all 5s and I would have had they not put 2 charges on my credit card after check-in. I had the hassle of calling my credit card company and then hotels.com to get to the bottom of these charges. Hotels.com CS called the hotel on my behalf and was told these charges are for any incidentals and would drop off my pending […] CC status in a few days. This was the 1st time something like this happened to me. They should warn guests this is going to appear on their credit card. Before this happened, I would have had nothing but great things to say about this hotel. The staff were friendly, the breakfast buffet was outstanding. The fresh fruit salad was a welcome change to normal free hotel breakfasts fare. There were several different types of cookies during the evening, along with hot beverages and water. She was the Desk clerk who gave the greatest service we recieved all year.

Consistently great. Clean rooms and good hot breakfast. Hot oatmeal daily which is great.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Hampton in Barsto. All of the staff we met were very nice and took care of our needs. When ever possible we stay in Hampton Inns due to there rooms and breakfasts. The Hampton Inn in Barsto is a good halfway stop between Santa Maria, CA and Laughlin, NV.

Personal check in, welcoming cookies and coffee, and clean, clean room. Across the parking lot from the Tanger Outlet Mall. Quiet. Always stay here when going East as it is great for a couple or family.

Nice hotel, excellent staff and clean fragrance free room. Less than a mile from I15.

After a long day of fighting traffic out of Vegas, this was an oasis in the desert for which to lay my head and rest up for the long day of driving that would complete my trip the next day. Comfortable beds, super-friendly staff, clean rooms, close proxiimity to a ton of dining options. Great traveler's inn.

Really close to a five star hotel for a mid-size chain price. I gave five stars because, for a Embassy Suites, it deserved it. There was nothing they could have done better for what they had and the decor, etc. I was impressed!

The single best thing was the beds! Very comfortable - I slept very well. The breakfast each morning was great - lots of good selection as well as having it ready well before 6:00 a.m. was wonderful for the early work schedule I had that week. We've stayed here several times on our trips back from New Mexico. The best part is the no charge for a pet. There's also a huge field next to the hotel for exercising. Breakfast was fine...the usual for Hampton. It's new, so rooms and lobby are quite nice.

We stayed here en route to Las Vegas in August 2011 The hotel looked well maintained and clean. Our room accomodated the 2 adults and 3 children in my family well - 2 x double beds and a large sofa bed. The room was very large, clean and comfortable and had stunning views of the desert. The air conditioning was effective, allthough very noisy, and […] situated right next to the sofa bed, which caused my son some difficulty in sleeping. The pool area was large and we had it completely to ourselves during our stay. It was clean and there was a good supply of pool towels. There was a spa and also a smaller pool for small children. Breakfast was excellent and included a wide range of choices from the buffet, including fruits, cereals, yoghurts, omlettes, pastries and a good choice of beveridges. Devamı

Hot, hot day driving for 8 hours, so we were ready to relax... but you just never know what you'll find in an unknown hotel. I chose Hampton Inn because of good experiences in others, but hadn't been to this one. All was very good... biggest complaint was that they could have used a few more small palm trees around the pool, so essentially nothing else […] could have been improved upon. The lobby and room were lovely, breakfast was great, and we got such a good restaurant recommendation we'd go back there again. I give it a 5 star rating for a travelers' hotel! Devamı

These folks really know how to run a motel. This is definately not a destination motel but a great stopover to where you are going. Breakfast was great (healthy too). They even accomodate pets. Staff was friendly and helpful. I'd definately stay here again!

While our room was noisy - both an air conditioner and thin walls - it was clean and the staff was great. It was on the high end price-wise, especially for July. I'd stay again for the convenience to meeting rooms and restaurants/shopping.

I travel all over the world and this is the best hotel staff I have experienced. Patty, Ryan and the breakfast lady are top-notch, professional and presonable to the max. Made the trip outstanding. Five Star all the way

As a quick stop in a small town on a long trip, we weren't expecting much, and were pleasantly surprised. The room was clean, new, large, & very serviceable. It's conveniently located by the factory stores, and many services and restaurants. The bedding and pillows were comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was quite satisfactory.

Everything was ok, except for having to stand in the hall waiting on the fax to come through for almost 2 hours and the water was to cold to take a shower.

The room was clean. The free breakfast was pretty good too. Anything free is good. The entire hotel was clean, neat and well taken care of.

Upgraded to a suite using Hotel.com for a cheaper price than their website. Very clean !!

A standard place, but newer. Ice machine worked, free cookies, and a massive breakfast that was pretty good. Not sure what else you could ask for.

Nice to find a new and upcoming area in Barstow. A little conjested at intersection to get to hotel. Very nice staff.

I like Hampton Inns. I am rarely disappointed in my stays at any of their establishments. The room was clean and comfortable. The service was friendly and very helpful. Would stay there again for sure.

One of the nicest Motel we have ever stayed at especially since it was right next to a outlet mall.

We had a soccer tournament and we selected this hotel. We were very satisfied with the rooms. they were very spacious and clean. The customer service was wonderful specially Sally and Joe. I will recomend this hotel to my friends. Also the breakfast was very good and the service girl was very nice and friendly....

The Hampton Suites were a perfect half way meeting point for my boyfriend and me. The hotel was clean, comfortable and the staff was friendly and accomidating. We also got to bring our dog>>>>for no addtional fee. Thank you for a pleasant experience and we will definitley return.

Quite new hotel next ro shopping outlet. Good value. Very clean. Decent breakfast with friendly staff.
