Absolute Hotel & Spa - Limerick

Nice Hotel.. Good Gym nice rooms good breakfast.. My only issue is I stayed at the Hotel for five weeks and many night had to work to 7pm.. When I got back to the Hotel never any parking spaces in the car park below.. I asked the girl on reception if she could book me a space as I am a long term resident she said no. I asked her if she could inform […] me when a space came available, again she said no.. Not really good enough for a long term resident in a Hotel.. Had to park in area across from Hotel and got blocked in.. The breakfast and dinner staff are fantastic.. Again only issue was parking issue.. Otherwise Hotel was great.. Devamı

The hotel was very nice, but I was disappointed the the pool and fitness areas were not available to hotel guests without an additional charge.

I have stayed here on a number of separate trips. Its a very nice hotel, a small gym, nice breakfast, and the food in the restaurant/bar is surprisingly good a d great value.

This was my fifth night to stay here in two months! Love the hotel, beautiful rooms for the price, not the usual room layout which was a nice change! Great rain shower and comfy bed! Nice staff too, we were late checking out and it was not a problem!

The hotel is beauitful, and only a 5minute walk away from the heart of the city. Price was outstanding and would highly recommend for a break away for those on a budget

absolute well named hotel was absolutely fabulous and for such young staff service was excellent

I travelled on business and arrived late. The staff were great, the room was of a really good standard and the food in the restuarant was really nice too. I would have no problem recommending this hotel to anyone. I didn't have time to use the gym or other facilities and left early so didn't try the breakfast either but will do so on my next stay.

This is a lovely hotel. The check in staff were lovely and very friendly. There is a free small carpark but if it is full you have to pay for parking. The buffett breakfast is ok but I have had nicer in other hotels. Very clean and modern hotel so overall would recommend to others.

Needed a place to stay in Limerick for only a few days. Room was nice, as was the staff. Location was just ok as had to take taxi to train station, but taxis weren't too expensive and it was worth it since the room was so affordable.

Nice hotel less than a ten minute walk from the city centre. Not sure if i would wl walk the area at night

This place may be the best hotel we have ever stayed at. Limerick is an ok town, but this hotel was amazing. From checkin to checkout, we were thrilled. Food in the restaurant was amazing, and highly recommended. If you stay in Limerick, stay here. Trust me.

Lovely hotel and huge room. Only issues were: - that our room was near the lifts which made a loud noise everytime the doors opened - the bathroom doors are frosted panels which had gaps all around. Not the most private. Would choose again, but maybe ask for room away from the lifts

Decent location - short stroll to the centre of town. Nice pub called The Lough just down the quays. Hotel is in good condition and staff were nice. Reasonably priced for my stay but breakfast was not included which I think is a bit mean in this day and age. Bad: Hotel car park is much too small - had to park across the road at €4.50 per day.

Nothing great but does the job. That said, not terribly cheap for a regional location in a recession ridded country for a room overlooking a carpark. Overall, would stay again due to it being clean and functional and a short walk from town. Limited parking though.

Friendly service, efficient, easy to get to. Parking available at the hotel is limited but there is overflow parking available across the road but mind the one way system when you have to use it .

Restaurant staff ignored me for 20 min when I signaled that I needed my check - a different waitress ignored me that night for 10 min while I waited to be seated - so I left. \ Front desk staff were wonderful, though! The hotel was lovely. It was comfortable, staff was very pleasant and helpful. Hotel was in a good location of shopping, restaurants. I would stay here again.

This is a perfectly adequate hotel in a very rundown town. All of my relatives were impressed that I was staying at the Absolute. Seemingly upscale bathrooms but showers are treacherous -- slippery sloped floors with no grab bars whatsoever. For the two nights I found myself in Limerick, it was fine.

My wife and I stayed there just on a whim and it turned out to be gorgeous! Very modern as European hotels go. Clean, free wi-fi, free parking, close to everything. Highly recommended.

Good quality hotel, friendly staff, central location for bars and restaurants. 15 min walk to Thomond Park. Be aware on busy days (i.e.big rugby matches) hotel car park fills up early. However multi-story car park available across road at dicounted rate.

Excellent stay at the Absolut. Good location in downtown Limerick. Rate it a 5 Star. WiFi in lobby.

A modern hotel--however: . cannot use the steam and sauna without booking a treatment . internet is expensive to use . garage area is very narrow . no wash clothes . asked for directions to a place to do laundry--was told there are no coin operated laundries in Limerick---really?

Nice room, convenient location and parking is included. We had a great time here.

This hotel is beautiful in every way. The rooms are fantastic, the food was fabulous (GREAT deals on lunch menu) and the staff are really helpful. The only downfall was that the Jacuzzi is an extra cost and had to be booked!

Great hotel, great location, great value, VERY comfy beds. Frosted glass bathroom door not the greatest idea but looks nice.

Hotel was beautiful, very modern and classy at the same time. Great value for the room and wow the rooms were amazing, we try to get away a few times a year in Ireland and the Absolute was definitely the nicest place we have stayed in ....ever! Will be back there again soon!

Myself & my boyfriend stayed here in January for my sisters Graduation at U.L. We were very impressed with the hotel, staff were lovely, room was fab & food excellent. Would definetly recommend & will stay there again

Modern clean and very comfortable. Food was good, service fast and staff very friendly. 20 min walk from Thormond Park. It felt and looked like a 4 star hotel.

Basically OK but its location/neighborhood is dicey and the parking garage is tricky to find and navigate the first time. Room was out of a 1970s Playboy fantasy room design but to say the lighting was subdued would be an understatement. If you want to read you'll have to go to the bathroom! Speaking of the bathroom, the one we had was handicapped accessible […] although neither of us are handicapped we were offered it as an upgrade. To that point, the shower was designed without a shower stall; it consisted of two short glass walls that allowed water to go everywhere! Unless you require being seated during a shower, stay with a conventional type room. The restaurant was OK: we ordered off the bar menu for a late night snack and the continental breakfast was OK. first class hotel with free parking which is a real bonus as most are on street (payable during the day). a short walk (3 mins) to town centre and just a great place to stay.
