The hotel was nothing like the pictures on line, the room was very tight, the bedspreads were shabby and looked cheap, not what we are used to at all. I relocated to another hotel. I will never ever book there again. Our room seemed like it was hanging off a ledge. BUT The hotel staff made sure we were settled in another hotel.

The best thing about this hotel is that it is on the beach. The hotel is nice but not great. Our room had old tv's and old decor. Couch was kinda dingy. Renovations were going on at the hotel - so hopefully they plan to redo more rooms with updated furnishings and rug. Location is near other hotels but not within walking distance to any boardwalks. […] You would have to drive and park. Free parking was nice. I would stay here again if I came with kids, but probably not if with just spouse. I would look for something nicer. Devamı

Great family spring break at the Grand Atlantic would definetly stay here again.

This is a great place to stay on the beach. Our room was on 16th floor and we all enjoyed our stay there. I only wish we had more days there..... This hotel is located right on the beach front and very close to family amusement park & water park. We will surely go there again this summer.

We booked for New Years weekend and it was great! The room was very clean and the layout of the room was very nice! I also love that the parking garage was connected to the hotel so we didn't have to walk too far to our car. My only complaints are that the bed were very hard and uncomfortable and the front desk takes forever to pick up your calls. The lady who greeted us at the front desk on the day after Christmas was VERY cheerful and helpful. We were pleasantly surprised with the room. The two bedroom has two full bathrooms, the kitchen is as big as my kitchen at home and AS PROMISED, it was an ocean front room and the views were beautiful. My family & I stay @ this resort every year @ Christmas. This resort has all of the amminities you could think of. Lazy River, Heated Pool, Full kitchen, wall bed & couch let out. Master bedroom. All around Great resort!

We stayed ina 3-bedroom apartment. The hotel offers all the amenities as advertised. It is at a great location just overlooking the Atlantic. One bedroom and the living room are ocean facing and the apartment we stayed had a huge balcony as well. Kitchen is also well equipped. The two negatives I can think of - 1. This hotel was great for a family get away. The veiw was awsome, the kitchen was well stocked for cooking meals, and the location was great as well. We live in Charleston sc and go to Myrtle Beach ALOT and have stayed at MANY of the hotels, condos, beach houses in the area, and really, for the price this place was amazing! I'm a clean freak so the cleanliness is super important to me and I was sooooo happy when we walked into this place. The front desk area was perfect and decorated very cute for […] the holidays. The on-site parking garage is clean, well-light, and reassuring. The rooms are spacious, adorable, and comfortable! And the view..WOW! Dont think we wana stay anywhere else! Staff was great too! ONLY complaint is theres no hot tub on property, and must go outside to access the neighbbor hotels jacuzzi. FREEZING walk in winter! LOL! Great place to stay, especially with kids. The Grand Atlantic Ocean Resort could be something special if the owners invested in maintaing and upgrading. We chose to stay here for three nights in the offseason. I was very excited to get a 1BR ocean front condo for a great price. When we arrived, we were greeted by the friendly and helpful staff at the reception desk. Upon arrival to our room, […] we were hypnotized by the view from the balcony. The pros of the condo were the location, as we were in south Myrtle Beach, but close to Market Common, and just down the street from Family Kingdom. It was a fairly spacious condo for my small family. The two indoor pools and lazy river were nice; we enjoyed swimming in December. Some of the things that could be fixed with the "Resort"... GET SOME NEW BEDS!!! I think I have a high pain tolerance, but sleeping on those beds was torture! They are the equivalent of sleeping on a concrete slab! The carpet in our room was coming apart from the edges and our front door was "swollen", making it hard to open and close without using force. The balcony door sensor was so sensitive that we had to figure it out and close it a certain way to ensure the thermostat sensor showed it was closed. (The thermostat and balcony door sensor are connected; if the back door is sensed "open", the HVAC system will not work.) Lastly, I REALLY wish that Hotels.com would add the resort fee into the bill so that we are not surprised by additional fees when we arrive. Was a good hotel, but I don't know that it's a Resort. I have been staying at Myrtle Beach for over 25 years and I have to say that was the nicest, and most comfortable stay I have ever experienced! I can't wait to get the chance to stay there again.

Everything was good except hotel asked for $10 for some silly charge at check in

Very nice place..clean...and very courteous staff...room was huge. Had king suite w ocean view....room 1105....

The bed was hard and flat. There were only 2 pillows and they were of no support. The commode in the bathroom rocked when you sat on it. The sliding glass doors in the shower left little space for entrance and the height of the tub was somewhat of an inconvenience. I have knee issues and it was challenging just to take a shower. The maintenance staff […] completed request to fix lock on balcony in a timely manner and the desk staff brought toilet tissue to room in a hurry. Ad stated hotel had premium bedding in rooms! Beds were very hard and uncomfortable,as was the murphy bed. Furniture was worn, 2 tv's old and in desperate need of replacement! Best part of the room was the vew of the ocean! I do not plan on staying here again!

We enjoyed our stay,the service,convience,cleaniness, and accomadations of the hotel. I would stay there again in the future. The rates were wonderful.

Beds are really hard, TVs need updated... Good location and built in convenient store and food.. Recommend.. Wasn't to shabby.

The hotel room was clean, the beds were not comfortable. There were no chairs on our balcony, which faced the side of the building, only Ocean view, not Ocean front as expected. If you like working out this Fitness Center is a joke!! Plus you have to pay $5 per day to use this "Fitness Center" as a Resort Fee. The Beds are hard as a rock. This Resort overall was Okay

Great hotei, good rate. No major issues, Beds could be more comfy & SD tvs need to be upgraded. Those things aside we enjoyed our 3 nites in 2 br of condo. FH.

The cleanliness of the room was good, but the hallway carpet in front of our room was dirty, as was the front of the room door. We came on a Saturday, they didn't clean the hallway until Wednesday. The beds were a bit hard and the colors in the living room area were depressing. Part of the floor was covered with laminate, which is much better than carpet, […] but was very loud when you walked on it, and disturbed others who were sleeping. The chairs and tables on the balcony were dirty; I washed them myself. We had to contact the front desk for several things...enough silverware for dinner, sheets for the pull out bed, etc. Although things were not in place when we came, the staff accomodated us when we were able to reach them. It was hard to reach the front desk by phone, we usually had to go down to talk with them. The layout was nice, decent sized kitchen, good sized bed rooms, looks like they made some nice renovations. Just need to fix the laminate floors, make sure the room is stocked properly before guests arrive, and clean the balconies, hallways, and outside of the doors. The old carpets need some attention too. Oh, and the front desk either needs to answer the phone or get more help so they can assist everyone. Devamı

Almost everything about our stay at the Grand Atlantic was perfect with one or two exceptions; the mattresses in all 3 bedrooms were HORRIBLE (unless you like sleeping on plywood) and the living room chairs were small and uncomfortable as well. We stayed for two nights and after the first night of total discomfort, we were dreading going to bed the […] second night, it was that bad. The room was clean, the kitchen stocked well enough for occasional use and the pool and beach access were nice and clean. I would probably give this resort 5 stars if it weren't for the beds. Devamı

The one bedroom condo was perfect. What I liked the best was the price for everything. It made it the perfect vacation. The location is away from all the noise and the security at the hotel (have to use your key to get in after 5 pm) was a comfort to me, as I was traveling with just the 3 girls.

The hotel itself was very nice and clean. But the ac in the room was not efficient. Did not regulate all the rooms. Many master was freezing and the other bed rooms were muggy. Beds were uncomfortable. And plumbing shock the shower so much the nails came out of the wall.

The staff was friendly but I would not recommend this hotel. The bedrooms were right by the hallway and doors were opening and slamming early in the morning.

If you like a VERY firm (hard) bed, you will love this room. It was somewhat old looking on the inside compared to the outside. The pullout mattress in the couch was utterly gross. It was SO nasty and stained. The phones did not work at all. We had to use our cell phones the entire trip. None of the bedrooms were ocean front or view. TV's were small. […] I felt it wasn't worth the price we paid. Do not have any plans on staying there again. Hotel employees were very nice though. Devamı

Stayed in a 3 BR condo, staff was very friendly during stay, room was huge, there were 3 full bathrooms and a full kitchen, the beds are very firm and the pillows thin but this wasn't a big deal to us. The room is pretty basic but I don't care much about decor on a vacation as we spent most of our time out of the room anyway. The balconies for the units […] are huge and accessible from the room only but is visible from some of the balconies of other rooms. The parking is tight for full sized vehicles but aren't most parking garages and it was not very crowded for this time of the year so that was not much of an issure. All in all we had a pleasant stay but keep in mind this hotel is on the south end which is not where the majority of the malls and night life are located but again that wasn't important to us. The location of this hotel is right on the beach, a real plus. But the room was sparsely furnished. Two hard and very low beds (difficult to clime in and out of), a dresser, a night stand, and one chair were all the furnishings. Missing were a table, microwave, coffee maker, and hair dryer. They did not even have a Gideon bible. The ocean view was the […] condo next door unless you had a long rubber neck to look around the side of the balcony. All went smoothly until we got ready to retire. Granted we enjoy a Sleep Comfort bed at home, but that is no reason to present such a poorly constructed and terribly uncomfortable bed. It was extremely firm which made for restless nights. In addition there wasn't a table and chairs available where one could take advantage of the free wi-fi.
