We had requested an early check in as we had a dawn flight and needed to freshen up but no room was available for over an hour - no advance warning that this was the case and no apology offered. Reception staff not the friendliest - too cool for school - but otherwise our stay was superb. Location was great - very near Cibeles and Retiro, around the […] corner from the Castellana. Lovely room - roomy and spotless. Very contemporary, quiet, radio/CD player was a bonus. Robes would have been nice but otherwise would highly recommend it. Great rates as well. Devamı

The hotel staff speaks very limited English. The wood floors in the room are noisy. The hotel is modern. The water pressure is good. Average customer service.

The hotel should install an internet service for guests - the library area would be perfect for this. e don't all travel with our notebooks or laptops. This was our only serious reservation about AC Recoletos.

We ended our third trip to Spain in Madrid. We toured Barcelona and Bilbao before Madrid, AC Recoletos was the most pleasant hotel (most currently renovated?) we stayed in. The room was well designed with clean, contemporary lines and finishes; it had great toiletries (including slippers) and was fairly spacious for a European hotel. The free access […] to the mini bar was a very nice touch. The hotel is close to two Metro stations, it is easily reachable to and from the airport; which removes the stress of having to fight traffic to the airport in a taxi. There are plenty of restaurants and shopping in the neighbourhood. My only issue is that there were only two non-smoking floors in the hotel, 1st and 4th; we wanted to be on the 4th floor however, the only room available when we checked in was on 1st, not wanting to wait, we took the room. 1st floor is also where the lounge is and our room is located directly above the restaurant; during the afternoon you can smell fried calamari through the air conditioning system and in the early morning, we were woken by the smell of croissants being baked, which is less offensive, however still annoying. I needed a room for a 24 hour 'crash' visit to Central Madrid, in conjunction with a business trip. Easily the nicest room of weeklong a European trip, AC Recoletos exceeded my expectations. Modern room, great amenities. Great rate through Hotels.com, too.

Great location, great services, outstanding facilities

We absolutely enjoyed this hotel. The location is ideal for walking to the metro and even to downtown locations yet far enough to avoid noise at night. The area is safe with several restaurants within walking distance for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The hop on off bus is within a 10 minute walk.

Great hotel, excellent location, friendly staff, comfy beds! A great find which came recommended to me from a friend who stays there often. €8 to iron a shirt was a bit extreme, but all else was fantastic. I'll be back and hopefully surrounding road construction will be finished! Cheers!! Cheers!

the hotel was ideally located very close to the prado museum and very close to the shopping areas of calle serrano and the city center. free minibar in room was great. free wifi in hotel lobby. and most importantly very very cheap.would definetely stay there next time in madrid

Es la tercera ocasion que llegó a AC Recoletos y siempre salgo satisfecho. Sin lugar a dudas su ubicación en la mejor zona de madrid, a escasos metros de dos estaciones de metro y a pocos pasos de la Puerta de Alcalá, Cibeles y la calle Serrano, sin lugar a dudas permite recomendarlo.

Muy bien ubicado, el desayuno de lujo, el servicio muy atento, lo única queja podria ser que fue que la habitación que no nos toco estaba junto a la caja del ascensor y nos molesto un poco (hab 501)

Tanto el servicio de la recepcion como el de mucamas, han sido excelentes. El hotel muy confortable y muy limpio todo. Tambien muy silencioso. La cama super confortable. Lo único para corregir es el poco espacio que hay para poner la ropa. Casi no pudimos deshacer nuestras maletas. Muy buen precio, si bien estabamos en baja temporada..

Preisleistungsverhältnis ist top! Das Hotel liegt an bester Lage mitten im Salamanca Viertel. Es ist sauber, das Personal sehr nett. Einziger Wermutstropfen W-Lan Anschluss im Zimmer nur gegen bezahlung, Wir werden wieder kommen.

Muy buen hotel, limpio, comodo, a 15 minutos a pie del centro. Zona tranquila. El cuarto es amplio, minibar gratuito. Lo unico que le faltaria es wi fi gratuito en el cuarto.

Bien situado para barrio Salamanca y zona Museos;funcional y limpio.

Bra hotell nära Retiroparken, cueca och shopplingkvarteren. Hotellet har en bra standard, med bra rum. Men hotellet är ganska själlöst, servicen är ok, men så personlig eller gedigen. Känns som ledningen ej tycker service är så viktigt. Frukosten är bra, enkel men fräsch och bra. Jag skulle gärna bo på hotellet igen, men mera se det som ett lägenhetshotell […] snarare än ett hotell med bra stämning och trevlig service. Internet är gratis, men ej på rummen. Devamı

Excelente, el minibar gratuitio, la ubicación muy estrategica, excelente servicio, hotel moderno, genial para conocer Madrid

Dette hotellet har utrolig god service. Folkene i resepsjonen går langt i å yte maksimalt for sine gjester. Blide og vennlige. Fotballbilletter til Atletico Madrid ble ordnet i sin helhet fra resepsjonen. Strålende!! Rommene holder veldig god standard til denne prisen. Trendy og reint. Noen av rommene som vender mot heissjakta har litt støy fra denne, […] men dette trekker ikke nevnverdig ned. Hotellet har god beliggenhet i forhold til Salamanca som har mange bra utesteder og resaturanter. Også god beliggenhet til museene og hovedgata Gran Via og Plaza Major. Anbefales på det sterkeste.
