Gorgeous hotel, perfect location. We stayed at the Grand Hotel because our son is attending school in Bordeaux. The hotel was amazing. Beautiful finishes, great service and perfect central location. Close to restaurants, shopping and transportation. We would stay here again without hesitation.

"very nice hotel"
beautiful site, fantastic location, feels like in a cocoon. rooms are a bit small though and not enough light to see what's in your suitcase. But we really loved staying there. Wish we had more time to enjoy the spa.

We stayed here in February, probably not the best month to visit Bordeaux as it was freezing cold, but it gave us the opportunity to enjoy the wonderful hotel! The staff could not do enough for us, albeit service a little slow at times in the Orangerie, but the room was so comfortable and exceptionally clean. Dinner in the Brasserie was wonderful and […] the wine list extensive. Did not try the Spa but it looked wonderful. "Grand Hotel Bordeaux--close to everything"
Our room was great. Other reviews say the room was dark, which was true. All the lights on and still hard to read. Bed was super comfortable and included all amenities. Julian, a concierge, was especially helpful, setting up two days of visits at the last minute.

"Nicely grand"
This is a nicely grand hotel in a handsome building on the opposite side of the square from the very grand theatre. It is spacious, calm and well-staffed. The room booked for us was up a curving staircase and it was obvious that my husband, who has walking difficulties, would be unable to cope. So we were kindly upgraded to a junior suite, on the second […] floor, overlooking the square. The room was spacious and the furnishing and decoration were appropriately grand, with a large bed, plenty of comfortable seating, all the drawers and cupboards that s we could wish for, and an easy to operate safe. There were occasional and offerings of macaroons and canales (local specialities) and fruit. The concierge lends laptops to guests (but if you fail to return it, they charge €1000). We did nose find the Bose machine, but then we did not look. We were well looked after and greatly enjoyed our stay. Staff were plentiful and rushed to help my husband down the wide front steps (no hand-rail). We ate in both restaurants and enjoyed the experience. Even in such luxurious surroundings, there are niggles, or, as one might say: the designer was here. Our room had seven lamps (plus two smaller ones for reading in bed) but we had to move them around to get enough light for comfortable reading while sitting in the room, and could have done with some stronger bulbs. The bath had a high and wide marble edge, which would have made getting in and out difficult in any case, but the problem was exacerbated by the shower screen which, because of the position of the basin, could only open a few inches; that made it difficult to get at the taps. And much of the space around the basin was taken up with a tray of clear plastic with nail file, cotton buds etc., leaving little space for our own things. This is an expensive hotel and you are, in part, paying for its location. "Excellent end to a great vacation"
We just finish a two week whirl wind tour of the UK and Spain. So to have a peaceful relaxing night in a first class hotel was music to our ears. Very nice. Rapheal the host - was superb. Room was incredible. Definitely on our list when we are in Bordeaux again.
"A sumptuous hotel in the heart of Bordeaux"
The Regent is a classic grand hotel right in the heart of Bordeaux. Rooms are beautifully appointed and spacious. The buffet breakfast is excellent but was not included in our room rate, and we didn't return after receiving the 64 euro charge for the two of us. There are several cafes nearby for cheaper (and lesser) breakfast options.
Quality hotel and service. Very pricey, but A great experience if you are not price conscious. Great location. Go for the superior room if you expect the space of a US hotel room

It's not only very, very central, but it also offers everything you are able to expect from a Grand Hotel. I think, it's simply the best place to stay for your first visit to Bordeaux. If you take a regular room (called "chambres supérieures") watch out of not getting the room at the end of the corridor, there's less light and the room is slightly smaller […] (but it makes a big difference). We were very impressed with this hotel. Centrally located and able to walk everywhere. However the room, although beautifully appointed, was incredibly small for a superior room. On mentioning this when checking out we were informed that this was one of the larger rooms. Beware if you do not want to feel claustrophobic. One night was OK

スタッフは全員がきびきびとしていて、きめ細かく親切な対応をしていただきました。部屋の内装も素晴らしく、隅々まで清潔です。客室がやや狭く、室内・廊下ともに段差が多いのは難点でしたが。 ヨーロッパには珍しく、スリッパもありました。室内では無料Wifiが使えます。 ロケーションもこの上ないですし、ぜひまた利用したいホテルです。

Mais à ce prix là, j'aurai bien aimé avoir un tout petit peu plus grand ! Un seul point négatif, quand on est "jeune" : Il faut justifier le fait qu'on dorme à l'hôtel. Rien à redire sur le personnel, la chambre et la literie. Nous étions au 4ème et n'avons entendu aucun bruit. Repas à la Brasserie de l'hôtel de très bonne qualité. Seul bémol, la description de l'accès à l'hotel en voiture qui devrait être précisée sur votre descriptif ou celui de l'hotel car il est situé sur une place non ouverte aux véhicules et […] nous avons manqué les plots d'accès. Il nous a fallu pratiquement 30 minutes pour refaire un tour un samedi en fin d'après-midi en passant par les quais de Bordeaux. Le parking des allées Tourny dont l'entrée est juste avant la place de la Comédie, est le plus simple à utiliser (et meilleur marché que le voiturier de l'hotel à 30€ qui de toutes façons va la garer au même endroit). Le SPA et la terrasse en toiture valent également le coup d'oeil, nous reviendrons au printemps. Devamı

Deze is chaotisch , bvb drinken kan je niet bestellen aan de dame , die je een tafel aanwijst , maar moet gebeuren aan een andere dame , die dan soms wegblijft , zodat je , zoals eens voorgevallen is , 10 minuten moet wachten.
