Hampton Inn & Suites Grand Rapids Airport 28th Street - Grand Rapids

Excellent hotel- everything was great. Friendly staff. Food was good. Pool and hot tub were clean. Very enjoyable.

Nice hotel, clean and roomy

Only negative...the heat unit cycles on and off, you cannot turn it off! Everything else and all the staff wonderful!

You cannnot see the hotel from the street. You need to go into the Target parking lot to find the small sign directing you to the hotel.

Hotel was clean, staff was friendly, room was nice, pool was very appreciated by the kids and the breakfast was really good. What more can you ask of a hotel stay, right? It was a bit of a challege to find by using the GPS but if you remember to follow the road around Target to the area behind it, you will have no issues finding it.

Our stay was very pleasant. The staff was friendly and the room clean and comfortable. We will stay again when in town.

I read it would be difficult to find this hotel and everyone was correct. Although, once we found the hotel everything was great from that moment forward. Hotel is just off busy street but far enough back to be quiet plus there is a lake snaking around the property that gives you a country feel. Room was big and comfortable. The hotel was very hard to find, tucked away behind Target. The hotel staff was very friendly, wonderful breakfast and the pool was very nice. The couple negiatives were you could hear very clearly the noice in the rooms next to us and the smoke alarm had two green lights that blinked all night long.

This hotel is a very clean, well kept hotel! I had absolutely no problem at all! The free hot breakfast was excellent and my overall experience was simply great! This hotel is right off the main strip on 28th in Grand Rapids and the mall, Wal-Mart, Target, and a host of other stores are right in their backyard! I would highly recommend this hotel […] ! When we registered I asked if there were an upgrade available with my HH points and status. There were any number of reasons given why they couldn't upgrade me; from you don't qualify to we don't have upgrades available and systematically referring me to HH.com for answers. First time that I've been not answered directly or with a positive attitude. […] That was the one disappointing part of our stay. it's the first time I was not awarded an upgrade from the Hampton Inns with my HH status. I was told when we checked into our room and I called down about an upgrade and they confirmed that they had an upgrade unit available, so we went down and when we got to the front desk they informed us we didn't qualify. Then the next day they conceded that I qualified, but then they didn't have upgrade room available. All in all somewhat frustrating. That's my review. Devamı

Arriving on a delayed flight into grand rapids, this hampton Inn is impossible to find in the middle of the night. There are no signs along 28th Street giving directions. The local sheriff finally guided us by sayong its about half a mile behind the Target Store on 28th. Still you don't see and sign, until you are within 200 yards. I like Hampton Inns, […] but they need to give directions. This is not on 28th street. Rather it's about 2/3s of a mile OFF 28th. Devamı

Always enjoyed staying at this Hampton. The person in charge of the breakfast and kitchen in the morning, Tammy is a sweetheart. Always making sure everything is well stocked and clean. A change was made at this hotel that is a bit inconvenient -- they took the microwave off the counters that were easily accessible and put it in the back kitchen area. […] Even though Tammy was happy to help warm up any food or drink, it was much more convenient to have the microwave on the counter as before and also as we have seen at other Hamptons. Good location for shopping and not far at all from downtown Grand Rapids which has many things to see and do. Devamı

this hotel is a brand new hotel. Very very clean and a nice hotel. However, unless your familiar with the area, the hotel is very difficult to locate. you can not see it from the main road, its tucked behind numerous commercial stores and its a maze to get to the hotel.

Everyone was very friendly and accommodating. The room, hot tub and pool were very clean. The pool could have been a little warmer. Overall, we were very happy with our stay.

While the cleanliness, comfort and service at this Hampton Inn was very good, finding the place was a totally different story. There should have been directions or a warning because having an address was totally a waste of time. Thank goodness the clerk at the desk was able to guide us to the hidden gem.
