Huentala Hotel Boutique - Mendoza

The hotel was very comfortable, enjoyed the location. Breakfast got a little boring after 4 days. Lots of good quality but and it was good, but it was the same ole thing day after day. It would be nice if one could order from a menu to give a little variety, even if there was a small nominal charge.

My husband and I traveled throughout South America and we stayed at Huentala during our visit to Mendoza. It was the highlight of our trip! Mendoza is a must. Between visiting vineyards and having wine tastings in picturesque settings, or going zip lining and white water rafting in the Mendoza river, or having some of the best dinners of all time, we […] had an amazing time. Breakfast & dining area were very nice. Hotel room was comfortable, but the floor (wood) seemed a little dirty & we could sometimes smell odd "exhaust" smells from the building behind. Also they had some kind of flowery "Febreze" smell that was very overpowering in the lobby. Hotel staff was helpful. When we visited, they pool was closed for maintenance, […] but they had an arrangement with the Sheraton next-door to use their pool (which was bigger & probably nicer, so that worked out good). We stayed three nights at the Huentala in January 2013. We found the staff to be very professional and helpful (there was always someone at the front desk that spoke english). The rooms are cute and well appointed. The restaurant is worth visiting. The food and service were above average. The Huentala is only about 20 to 30 minutes from the heart of […] Mendoza's wine country. The only issues I had were that the hotel was being renovated at the time of our stay so there was scaffolding on the facade that made it hard to find (I do not consider this a reason not to come back) and that the air conditioner struggled (this I found to be true on our entire trip in Chile and Argentina). We had a great stay at the Huentala, however would have appreciated them making us aware of the construction to the hotel when we booked. Our suite was beautiful but received no sunlight, no usable patio, and plenty of construction noise. The construction workers were on scaffolding directly outside our window. Luckily we had a busy schedule and were […] not planning on sleeping in! The hotel is adjoined to the Sheraton and the casino, which add to the amenities of the Huentala hotel. Overall, great hotel. The rooms are really small and noisy. The breakfast was the best I have seen in Argentina. The location cannot be much better.

great location, breakfast buffet was very good with a great variety of items including eggs. free internet included in the rooms. beautiful lobby area and dining room. Staff was always present and ready to help without being overbearing and very helpful when asked for help or information.

It is on the main road so very central. Our room was a bit small but the hotel staff was very helpful, especially Ana at the front desk.

This was a nice little hotel but not near to other things. If you want to be in the middle of it stay in town. They do have a shuttle that runs regularly so getting around is not a problem. The scenery is beautiful! Food is not so good. Great restaurants in town though for lunch and/or dinner! Great Value!

While the location is great (near center of town) and the included breakfast was nice, the "king" bed (two twins pushed together) was not comfortable at all, and the staff was mostly useless. Be sure to set up your winery visits and transportation on your own, otherwise the staff will push you toward the overpriced tour company operating out of the […] Sheraton next door (a partner hotel). They were not happy when we told them we wanted them to call us a remis (livery cab); on one occasion, they scoffed and said "Just take a taxi" - and that, really, turned out to be a much better option. There also was a persistent acrid smell in the air from the very strange cleaning products used by housekeepers ... like I said, you can do better in Mendoza. Devamı

friendly staff, clean hotel, very nice breakfast, my only complaint was that the twin beds we were given ( as opposed to full size or queen size ) were so very narrow I thought I might fall off!

We had a fantastic stay here. After a late arrival (due to border between Chile and Argentina!) we were welcomed with opened arms. English was well spoken by everyone which made things easier with our limited Spanish! The pool is very small and a little dated but a nice escape from the heat. The gym was good too. Very good location, closet to the main plaza with easy walking distance to restaurants and travel agencies. Swimming pool to cool down in close to 100 F weather. Very helpful stuff. Highly recommend. Kris

We reserved a suite at this hotel, as did our friend, her room was far superior to ours. We asked the front desk if we could switch rooms, because of the position of the toilet my husband couldn't even sit on it (he's very tall). They kindly gave us a new room which was much better than our original room, but still nowhere as nice as our friend's. We […] were satisfied with our new room, but surprised by how widely the "same room" differs. If we had not seen our friend's room we probably would have kept our original room and been miserable. This hotel is close to shopping, parks and restaurants. Ssveral of the front desk staff can speak English and they were helpful in making reservations, etc. Overall, for the price, this was a good choice for a stay in Mendoza, and our wine tour.

. I was really impressed with the level of service from the beginning. We arrived in Mendoza from an overnight bus trip at around 9am and the employees rushed to get us in our hotel room super early. Our 3-person suite had ample space, good furnishings and the staff was very friendly. It included a varied, excellent free breakfast. The location is ideal near city center. When TV and air-conditioning malfunctioned, the staff acted quickly to straighten it out. Highly recommended.

The Huentala hotel is in a great location. Its a 3-4 star hotel with clean and comfortable rooms. Close to the main area of town and easy walking distance. My only issue with the hotel and Expedia is that I had booked a 2 double bed room only to find out on arrival that they don't have any 2 double bed rooms in the hotel. Only twin single beds! I paid […] for 2 double beds and had to settle for a queen bed or two single beds! Devamı

The hotel looks nice. Our only problem was the check in. We arrived after the stated check in time but we needed to wait for more than 30 minutes for our room to be ready. We got a double room, but the beds were just really small twins beds, not really matching the price and the 4 stars that it was supposed to be. This is a very well located hotel, in a quie place, close to comercial areas, restaurants, squares and casinos. People in charge is very nice and helpful. Very good cost/quality relatioship. Mayor shopping centers are at a short distance as well as museum, big parks and official buildings. This stay was a grate experience for us.

The first night we were on the 2nd floor my wife didn"t have a good sleep because of a noise from a foutian below the window. We asked to be moved and the next nights there was no problem.
