Hotel Capannelle - Roma

I chose the hotel on location and price. My husband and I wanted to walk the old roman road and this hotel is close. We found a way in behind a tennis club and had a fantastic easy interesting walk towards central Rome. The hotel itself is very nice, clean comfortable and the staff are helpful and friendly. Location near Ciampino airport and some attractions like Castelli Romani, easy access to main motorways and to nearby Tivoli and Villa Adriana. Abundant breakfast and in site parking.

Enno, one of the front desk staff members, left me stranded ALONE with 7 pieces of luggage!! He wouldn't even call a taxi for me. Prior to booking this room they told me that if I took the train to the Capannelle Station that they would MAKE SURE to get me a taxi to get to their hotel, seeing that I couldn't take a subway or bus with all of the luggage […] that I had. On top of this taxi companies kept hanging up on me too. I desperately needed the hotel to help me!! Enno (RUDE FRONT DESK GUY) had NO problem leaving a woman, who's a foreigner, alone at a deserted train station with tons of luggage! It was a TOTAL nightmare and I was terrified!! BTW, good luck trying to flush the toilets at this hotel too. Devamı

While the hotel is no architectural marvel and located in a boring residential area but everything was fine with our visit - staff friendly, room clean and decently furnished, restaurant reasonable, price reasonable...

the hotel itself is roomy and clean with a very supportive staff - mulit-lingual. The breakfast buffet is great. It is a bit outside Rome proper, however, once one gets used to the public transportation system it is no problem getting into Rome and back.

After booking hotel I was worried that it was too far from city centre, however this was not a problem as there was a bus/metro service which was very good. The cuttle service from the Hotel to the nearest metro station could be improved by having a later one at night as the last one was 18.45. Great hotel a bit far out of rome but can catch bus on the appia road about 500 meters away to metro. Great breakfast and wifi. good for business location and for people with a car as free parking.

The hotel is good and the staff are ok, although located a bit far away from city centre, the free shuttle helps. overall is better than expected with such price.

Very nice hotel for the price. Good! Good!!

We only stayed one night as we had an early morning flight out of Ciampino airport. The hotel was perfectly located for quick and easy access to the airport.

New hotel, with spacious rooms, friendly staff. Close to city center, quiet neighbourhoud.

Good position for Ciampino airport but beware that the airport shuttle only runs 3 times a day. Good service and friendly staff. Not enough beds by the pool. Nice quiet location and good black out curtains for that very important lie in!

The breakfast is awesome. Very clean rooms. Not well located but they offer a shuttle that takes you to the metro station. Form the metro station you can go everywhere for just 1 Euro each way, or you can buy a pass for many day and save even more.

Chose hotel because of proximity to Ciampino airport. It was only for one night and we had a rental car. If we go back to Rome we will probably stay at that hotel instead of downtown. The facilities are great and the included breakfast was good and with plenty of variety. Only negative would be distance from downtown and the touris attractions. I knew would be far away when we booked it, but I thought careful planning around their shuttle bus schedule would keep us happy. When I unexpectly fell sick, it took us 4 hours to get back to our hotel after getting off at the wrong exit from the city bus - as the shuttle wasn't available for a 4 hour period of the day. It was a nightmare and put a […] big damper on my Rome experience. The hotel seems well kept but the beds were really hard and there were no extra pillows in the room. Also, they were out of shampoo which wasn't easy being far from the main area of shopping. The hotel restaurant doesn't have many choices and isn't open late. It also requires a reservation which is pretty silly. The staff was friendly, which was the only plus. There is very little hotel shuttle bus service to and from Campiani airport, which means a cab ride is your only choice - costing 30 euros. If I were to visit Rome again, I'd pay more for a hotel closer to the attractions giving us a break in between all the sight seeing and night life. If you stay out all day you get too burned out by evening. Taking a couple hour break would have been nice - as the sites at night are great and the city is full out tourists and a good time. Reasonable hotel in good location, but too expensive to recommend in comparison with alternative choices.

Big hotel and conference centre with restaurant. It's away from the City and its history. Hotel's bus will take you to the nearest metro station that was convienient and easy.

Three things I liked about the hotel : - Clean rooms - Friendly staff - Reasonable rates Three things I din't like : - Location. Not well connected by public transport. Either depend on hotel shuttle or take a taxi. - Shuttle. As per the timetable, the shuttle was to arrive at Cinacitta at 8:20. But, it never came. my only problem it was to far from the city center. but for the price it was worth it. breakfast was great.

The hotel was outstanding. It was the best hotel we stayed at in Italy. The restaurant and breakfast was very good. The service was excellent. Room was very clean. The only negative is that it is outside the center of Rome and the taxi fare will kill you (about 25 euros one way to get to city center). They do have a shuttle to the Termini during the […] day and city center at night for a reduced price but it does not run that frequently. We were not able to utilize the shuttle to our schedule. There is also a bus that stops close by. Overall, if you can figure out the transportation issue it is a fabulous hotel. Devamı

The only thing that wasn't up to par was the pool that needed a little cleaning. There is a bus stop about 400m from the door, turn left out of the lobby and turn right on the firs street, there is a little market on that corner, buy water and snacks if you want to save some money, straight ahead on the busy street is the buss stop that will take to […] the metro. Great hotel for the price; only issue is that you would want to be aware of is distance from the city center and major tourist sites. There is a convenient bus line that takes you to a near metro station which then will take you right into town near the biggest sites. Cannot fault the hotel. Clean, spacious, nice decor, nice pool, good service. If I had to be picky, the restaurant was pricy & there is nowhere to eat locally. This hotel is far out. We chose this hotel because of the pool and were so glad we did. The location is in a suburb of Rome but easily accesible by bus and subway. There is also a shuttle bus going to the Central train sta, the airport (not Da Vinci) and to the subway, and to a point in downtown Rome. We had already been in Rome for four days and then done a tour of the Amalfi Coast (worth doing but be sure about your driving as the roads can be tricky with plenty of bends to navigate around). It was after this that we returned to Rome for a cuople of days, just to relax from our trip, possibly catch a last brief look a Rome and be close enough to […] the airport so as not to require a lenghty journey and reduce the risk of any hold-ups. This hotel met all our requirements and even had a shuttle bus too and from the airport and Rome. (we didn't use it as we had a hire car, but other guests did and were getting around fine). The hotel is situated about 20 minutes away from the airport, close enough, but not so close that you can hear the planes flying over. The hotel is about two years old and in fine decorative order with all rooms air conditioned - very welcome in the summer heat!. It is located in a nice, leafy, residential part of Rome and within easy reach of a local coffee shop and supermarket if you want to go for a walk or need some extra's for the kids. It has a small pool which is adequate for cooling down after sun bathing and if you prefer to read or chat with friends over coffee, a shaded outside area to relax in. Would we use this hotel again? Definately....in fact we plan to go back to Rome before the year is out and use it for our base. Devamı

Transportation by bus-subway easy access you can go around without taxi,nice new hotel with pool and nice spacious areas, front desk staff not that friendly at the beginning but overall good experience @ this hotel.

great price for rome, but you are in suburbs have to take bus or subway and bus to get to hotel. easy in the day, they have a bus to the train station. use the city bus stop a couple of blocks away instead of the one near the hotel. need a taxi for late at night. friendly staff, great breakfast

this is just another prime example of giving up location for price...the service was great, but was hard to locate and had to take time and money to get to the location of the hotel from downtown, rome.

This hotel is great for those who are willing to pay for every small luxury. It feels very uptight. The staff speak many different languages and are always available to answer questions. I enjoyed the stay, but would not stay here again.

I was a little worried of the location, but it wasn't an issue with the shuttle the hotel provides, they take you to the metro station (cineccitta) several times a day and pick you up, it is a 30 min drive and then another 30 mins to the city in the metro but we didn't miss anything in rome. the shuttle also has 2 services at night to take you and pick […] you up directly from downtown. The breakfast was outstanding, full buffet of everything, and the bar at night provides hors d'oeuvre if you are ordering drinks, and they have a live music and a great pool area. we had a great time. The hotel has beautiful facilities and large rooms. We were very happy with the hotel.

Prisvärt och lätt att ta sig med bussen till Metron Colli Albani. Hotellet erbjuder också en shuttle service men den är ofta full och går inte alltid när man vill åka. Hotellet ligger nära häftiga ruiner av en av Roms äldsta förorter. Vi hittade en bra och prisvärd restaurant ca. 500 m från hotellet som heter Girasole. Vraiment trés satisfait du séjour dans cet Hotel, une chambre spacieuse, trés propre et bien équipée, trés bon et copieu petit dejeuner. Le seul bémol reste l'emplacement de l'hotel (éloigné du centre de Rome et le quartier résidentiel donc trés trés peu animé....manque quelques restos à proximité....) L'unico neo è che è un po lontano dal centro quindi se siete a Roma per turismo studiatevi prima bene le strade e i mezzi pubblici (che poi non è nemmeno tanto male), io che ero in questo hotel non per motivi turistici mi sono trovato benissimo. La camera in perfette condizioni, pulitissima e comoda e spaziosa. Colazione di ottima qualità e molto varia. […] Il personale è gentilissimo e molto competente. Devamı

チェックイン前の荷物を預かってくれたり、近隣の情報を教えてくれるなど、スタッフの対応がよかった。郊外のため、ローマ中央へでるには、時間がかかるが、地下鉄B線へは、ホテルからシャトルバスが朝、夕に数本出ていた。

e´um hotel médio, situado num local razoável, estava a espera de mais , visto se tratar de um hotel 4estrelas... nem tem tv. no quarto! o tampo da banheira nao estava no seu melhor, etc...

Nous avons séjourné à 2 reprises dans cet hotel : au début et à la fin de notre séjour en Italie. Nous avions loué une voiture pour l'intégralité de notre séjour, de ce fait nous n'avons eu aucun problème pour circuler au départ de cet hotel.Il est vrai qu'il est situé de façon un excentré par rapport au centre de Rome mais il semble qu'il y ait des […] bus en dehors de la navette de l'hotel. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié cet hotel moderne, certe très grand, mais présentant un très très bon rapport qualité prix. Les petits déjeuners se prennent sous forme de buffet, sont très copieux et de qualité tout à fait correcte. Nous avons pris des repas le soir pour un prix de 15 euros par personne : très bien. Les chambres sont bien y compris lorsqu'est trajouté un lit enfant. La salle de bain est parfaite. Nous n'avons pas été dérrangé par les bruits. Le quartier est résidentiel. Hvis man skal hjem med Ryanairs søndags morgenflyver, så er dette sted perfekt. Det tager ca. 10 minutter i taxa fra hotellet til lufthavnen. Kvaliteten på hotellet er i top. Kan varmt anbelfales!

Dommage pour la situation dans un quartier résidentiel. Mais ça, tout le monde le dit. Le personnel est vraiment charmant et c'est un excellent standing. Le restaurant est agréable aussi. Pour rejoindre le centre-ville, si on ne veut pas se ruiner en taxi, il faut prendre les bus; Ils passent régulièrement. Le n° 654 est pratique pour aller en ville. […] Il vous amène à la station de métro cinécitta en 1/4 d'heure. Pour le retour, surtout s'il fait nuit, il vaut mieux prendre le 664 depuis la station de métro colli albani. L'arrêt est "appia claudio" Attention, il y a 8 arrpets nommés "appia". Hotel calme , près de la gare ,excellent point de chute pour qui veut visiter Rome et alentours, à 1/4 d'heure de l'aéroport de Ciampino, service bus de l'hotel (se renseigner), restaurant de l'hotel correct avec menu sympa à 15 euros le soir (conseillé réserver, attention pas de menu enfant), très confortable.Clientèle variée, affaires, couples , jeunes […] touristes, étrangers .Personnel agréable .Trés satisfaite de l'hotel , à conseiller. Dette hotellet passer perfekt for den som skal ha en overnatting f.eks. før en tidlig avgang fra flyplassen. Relativt nytt, rent og pent. Litt harde senger. Grei gratis parkering. Vinduene på rommet lar seg ikke åpne uten nøkkel fra resepsjonen, men ok aircondition. Meget bra pris / ytelse-faktor, i alle fall da vi var der i februar.
