Residence La Reserve - Ferney-Voltaire

My wife and I have now stayed at RLR twice within the last 6 months. I myself have been coming to Geneva for 20 years. I wish I had had RLR to stay in during those 20 years! This is an incredible hotel. It gives you spacious suites at a price that most hotels in Geneva would charge for a tiny room. They are pet-friendly and the staff goes out of their […] way to help you with whatever you need. The furnishings are clean, modern and comfortable. This is truly a home away from home. Last Sunday, when I left, I forgot my telephone charger in the suite we had been living in. That evening I got an email from the manager that the charger had been found asking where they should send it. This morning (Tuesday) it arrived by express mail. I offered to pay for postage and they refused! Tell me where I can find another place like RLR, and I will stay there every time...which is just what I plan to do whenever we return to Geneva. Let me start with the positive. Kudos to the staff for having to run a hotel that is in complete shambles. The front office was extremely helpful. Now let get to why I would never recommend this hotel. 1) the room was not clean. The carpet had damp patches and stains. The fridge was stinkIng. We spoke to the front desk and they quickly sent someone […] to clean the fridge. However, there was no one available to come look after the damp patches on the carpet. 2) the restaurant has no options. It has a sad sad sad menu. For a 4 star in France (Euorpeans know food) this was comPletely disappointing. 3) While the location is close to the airport and to Geneva, the bus service (TPG) is very infrequent. If you plan to rent a car the whole time then ok. But otherwise not. If I really look back, my biggest disappointment came from my expectation of a 4 Star and the price I willingly paid because of that rating. Notch the star rating down and slash the price down by at least 50 euros / night and I may have written a very different review. To make matters worse, I wanted to vent to the Manager. I was told the Manager is off on vacation!!!!! Was this a family run Bed & Breakfast that did not have a manager to fill in? I am fully committed to write to the authorities that dish out star ratings. I first have to figure out who that authority is :) I would never stay here again. friendly helpful staff, ,easy access to geneva, many tourist attractions within short distance, kids had fun in the swimming pool and gimm and hotel garden, reasonably comfortable appartments,

Not a bad hotel, but not worthy of it's 4 star rating in my opinion. Room was large and comfortable, especially for the price. Bar and restaurant were not very welcoming, menu wasn't to my liking, and breakfast could have been better. Staff seemed friendly enough, and it was very convenient for me for the Palexpo in Geneva.

Because of work in Geneva, we stayed for 2 weeks in Ferney-Voltaire at Residence La Reserve. We chose it through hotels.com because of affordability and convenience. The hotel has a bus stop within the block on the F bus line that goes into downtown Geneva with good connections. There is a pharmacy and grocery stores close by. The inhotel laundramat […] is adequate but limited (better than most hotels/motels in Europe though). The staff were generally helpful and most had good to strong English skills. We heard the hotel rooms had been renovated, however, the apartment we were in had not been. Nonetheless, it was basic and satisfactory, but needs the carpet replaced or cleaned (lots of spots). De havde det der skulle være og vil helt sikkert bruge det igen. Prisen er god ift. de andre hoteller i området.

Très bel appartement. Très bon accueil. Excellent service. Personnel très professionnel. Coin lounge très agréable. Restauration sympa.

Bra hotel, med stort rom for 3 personer. Kort vei til flyplassen og inn til Geneve. Bra med parkeringsplasser

Het hotel bevindt zich op een uitstekende locatie voor zakenmensen die de Palexpo bezoeken. Het is een kleine 10 minuten per taxi en ook heel dichtbij de luchthaven. De kamer was zeer comfortabel en netjes. Het eten in het restaurant was echter niet erg lekker.

호텔에서 제네바 Cornavin역까지 버스로 15분정도, UN, WTO, WIPO, UNHCR등 국제기구까지는 10분정도 소요. 특히 버스정류장이 호텔 바로 앞에 있어 교통 편리. 방에서 조리 가능하며 근처에 까르푸, 약국이 있어 편리. 방이 넓고 쾌적, 깨끗하며 직원들이 매우 친절. residential hotel이라 원칙적으로 방 청소는 제공되지 않으나 추가비용 지불시 가능. 가족들과 함께하는 여행이나 업무 출장 경우 모두 추천할 수 있는 호텔.
