Villa Laetitia - Roma

This hotel was not near the centre so had either a long walk or taking the metro/tram to the sights. It is set behind a large villa which is being renovated so not easy to find and had to walk thro the site to get to it which smelt of drains. The room was quite spacious and unusual but the kitchen area was cramped and dated. The bathroom had a small […] Jacuzzi bath with only 2 out of the 5 jets working. It had only a hand held shower so not much good and there was very little room to move around in. Most of the time we were the only ones in the hotel which was just as well as there was a lot of noise from the the room above when someone walked over the floor. It would be hard to imagine a more satisfying stay. The friendliness and professionalism of the staff, the prompt attention to request and the comfort and loveliness of the room itself all exceeded my expectations. I had the Green Room which comes with a garden setting, a private porch, kitchenette with stove and refrigerator, a commodious bath and […] even a separate dressing room with computer desk at one end. I was pampered as if I were the only guest; the desk staff gave suggestions for where to eat, special places to see including insider information on the best bridge to approach Trastevere by foot. And when I left, they encouraged me to hire their driver for the ride to the airport and it was one more great suggestion. The price was a bargain for a comfortable ride with a gentleman who spoke English and who made interesting comments about Italian culture and politics in response to my questions. I even met Ms. Fendi, who was utterly gracious. A charity event was on the schedule at the Villa on a Monday evening. We were all told in advance but the event in no way impinged on our privacy. Séjour avril 2012 avec bébé de 1,5 ans (suite avec 1 chambre). Chambre propre et confortable, design intéressant. Hôtel et quartier très calmes, chambres en retrait de la rue et jardin très agréable à l'ombre des arbres. Chambre assez sombre, qui nécessitait d'allumer la lumière même le jour, donc plutôt un hôtel pour un séjour estival. Wifi gratuit, […] mais connexion assez lente. Petit déjeuner très bon, même si l'on peut regretter le manque de plats chauds. Quelques améliorations possibles: le personnel ne nous a parlé que du métro, à 10-15min de marche, alors qu'il existe d'autres solutions notamment le bus 628 au coin de la rue qui dessert plusieurs points touristiques très intéressants. De manière générale le personnel offre peu d'informations touristiques. L'emplacement n'est pas le plus central, mais c'est le prix à payer pour le calme. Prévoir entre 1/2h et 1h de temps d'approche total pour le centre touristique. Attention cet hôtel est catégorisé comme appart hôtel mais nous l'avons trouvé plutôt mal adapté à cet usage: pas de four ou de micro-onde, très peu d'ustensiles de cuisine, meubles pas toujours pratiques, etc. C'est une cuisine d'appoint pour des clients qui mangeront la plupart de leurs repas en ville. C'est pourquoi nous ne le recommandons pas forcément pour des familles, même si les enfants seront très bien reçus et que le personnel est très sympathique, attentif et serviable. L'hôtel était plus qu'à la hauteur de nos attentes. Rien à redire que ce soit au niveau de l'accueil, de la propreté, de la chambre même le petit déjeuner était très correct. Seul bémol, 30 minutes en moyenne pour aller au centre-ville à pied (or réseau de transports très complexe) ce qui fait un peu loin quand on rajoute toutes les visites de la journée. […] Mais l'hôtel était tellement bien que ça vaut le coup!!! C'est un hôtel d'été...avec de jolies terrasses et un beau jardin.. Mais en hiver, ce n'est pas l'idéal et l'hôtel est trop éloignée du centre historique. Le petit déjeuner prohébitif coûte 15€ par personne avec rien, des biscottes, et du jus d'orange délayé dans de l'eau...Assez scandaleux ! De même, il n'y avait pas de housse de couette, juste […] un drap sur la couette, j'ai demandé d'en changer, mais il n'y en avait pas...Assez peu hygiénique non ? Pas génial pour le standing et le prix des chambres, je m'attendais à mieux...Pour le 31, juste un micro gâteau et une mini bouteille de mousseu...bof ! Devamı

We had a very good stay in the hotel. The service was excelent and the standard was very good. We even got an upgrade of our room, which was a very pleasant experience. I can highly recommend this hotel.

Nice location, elegant and well positioned but unfair service with breakfast excluded from room price and high priced without being at the level of the requested price. It's Hit negatively the like level.

Litt utenfor der "alle" andre hoteller ligger,men nær metro - trikk og buss. Hotellet ligger litt tilbaketrukkent fra trafikken, en liten "oase" i Roma.

Leuke eigen stijl en sfeer, prachtig ingericht en vriendelijk personeel: een aanrader!

Not much service in the hotel but it is a fantastic, calm and quiet oasis centrally in the busy city of Rome. Almost like an apartment with kitchenette, so the fact that there was no breakfast didn't matter much. Breakfast on the private terrace in our room with food from the nearby small supermarket was just as nice. Cool design everywhere. Very comfortable […] pillows. Devamı

Cet hôtel est un bijou de fraîcheur au coeur de la ville de Rome. Son jardin presqu'entièrement sous un couvert végétal nous apporte une extraordinaire détente par journée chaude d'été. Il y existe une tranquilité étonnante compte tenu de la rue très passante et bruyante sur laquelle il est situé. Le schambres sont très petites mais en même temps […] très confortables, le lit tout particulièrement. Le service Internet sans fil dans chaque chambre est un plus. La longure entrées en gravier que nous devons franchir péniblement en arrivant avec nos bagages ne donne pas une juste impression de ce qui nous attend. Le personnel est particulièrement gentil et compétent; il sait rendre notre séjour agréable. Nous recommandons cet hotel sans hésiter. Devamı
