Liked hotel and location was great for eveything going on downtown. Stayed in two rooms on our trip and the only down fall was the showers were not very good in either one. In both rooms the shower heads were horrible. They sprayed water from all around the head and the one room had a glass door that did not seal at all around it and water got everywhere […] on the floor of bathroom. This was a beautiful hotel and very convenient to the River Center. It was a short walk or they offered complimentary shuttle service. Friday night downtown was hopping! There was lots to see and do and many close by restaurants. Ate in the hotel restaurant for lunch on a Saturday. The service was quite slow even though they had just opened lunch service […] at 11 am and didn't have many customers at that time, but thankfully the food was excellent! I can say this was the best hotel we have ever stayed in. everything was clean the room was beautifull. The hospitality was great. We met real nice people. The resteraunt was awesome, and our waiter was great. Definately a 5 star hotel...... <3 <3 <3 it

Very pleased would be mild. We were thrilled with the service of everyone that we encountered at this hotel. Very friendly staff. Rooms were beautiful and location was very convenient. Perfect southern hospitality!

For the bowlers, this hotel does NOT dedicate to bowlers as first priority, its running back and forth to the airport is there first priority. We asked to be brought to the tournament the first answer was yes, then theater got a call from the airport we were put on hold and ended up a half hour late. Great service. Free upgrade to executive suite. couldn't have had a better stay!

Many small problems with the room added up to an unsatisfactory stay. I expected more from a higher-end chain like Hilton. Some problems: Toilet paper holder was broken; roll kept on falling on floor; shower door didn't close well causing large puddle on bathroom floor; one bath towel for two guests; difficult to navigate to non-pay TV channels; hot […] and cold sink faucets were reversed. mildew on shower floor. Room & bed clean/comfortable; only gripe of room is bathroom doors, no lock and awkward, and stand-up shower sprayed water outside of shower door, no tub.

This hotel is gorgeous. I only stayed one night for a wedding, but enjoyed it tremendously. The entire wedding party and many of the attending guests stayed there, and I didn't hear anyone complaining about anything! It's convienently located downtown near all the capital city attractions. There's a great nightlife in downtown BR these days, and it's […] all within walking distance of the front door. I would prefer feather pillows instead of the ones offered, but that is honestly my only complaint. This hotel was absolutely perfect for our needs ! It is walking distance from the river center, restaurants and local bars. The atmosphere was very welcoming and the staff was friendly and helpful!

not good at all when you have a long day at marti graw and come in the evening to the hotel and your room has not been cleaned and the excuse short handed not enough employees and they did not offer anything to make it right and on top of that we complained about our next door room noise till 300 am and nothing was done about that will not recommend […] that to nobody Devamı

Got in at 12pm after an 11 hour drive and were not able to have an early check in, was told to come back at 3pm which is check in time. We returned at 3:15pm and was advised rooms were still not ready ,there would be a 20min wait. Our rooms were booked 2weeks prior to check in, then a guest comes in to check in with out reservations and recieved a room […] before we did. So then what good is getting a reservation. We ended up in our room until 3:45pm. This is the first and last time I will stay at this hotel. Not a very good welcome on our first visit to Louisiana. Devamı

I enjoyed my stay, although it was only for one night. My umbrella had turned inside out and broke in a storm, and they gave me one to use. The room smelled slightly of smoke, although the hotel is non-smoking. But other than that, everything was just right.

Stayed for one night to attend an event downtown and the farmer's market the next day. Great location right on the river - ask for a river view ! Staff is very very welcoming and accommodating. the Hilton is close to the LA State Capitol and other LA government offices.

I loved my stay here. The room was clean, cozy and well decorated. The bathroom was well lit, well appointed and clean. The restaurant and bar were the perfect refuge on a cold rainy night and the service at both was impeccable. The lounge on the executive floor has a very nice complimentary happy hour and breakfast. Horrible parking accomodations, our water front view room wasn't ready - they were cleaning the carpet? - Our replacement room was 2 floors lower, however the view was nice enough. The bathroom was tiny and mildew was present on the floor tiles, the remote for the TV didn't work and had to call the front desk for that too. The hotel is in a nice area with many restaurants within walking distance. A revitialized older downtown area. We came in for a football game and there is a shuttle that picks up across the street and goes dirtictly to the stadium. Only complaint is the beds in a double room are full size. Tight quarters for 4 people.

Upon arrival the front desk staff was wonderful. Come to arrive in my room and the suite had clearly been used. They quickly got me to another room, which was ready to go and comfortable. The room service was fast and tasted good, but my gumbo came in a bowl half the size from the night before. Not sure what was up with that, but was certainly disappointing. Tried […] to order a movie and the LodgeNet system was on the fritz. They gladly gave me a credit and apologized. And the last morning of my check-out, I called down 20 min. ahead for valet to pull my car. It wasn't ready and there was no apology. Annoying. In whole, the staff was pretty professional and warm, but there certainly are kinks in consistency. The location is good with a nice view of the river. I heard the location is relatively new, so maybe it's growing pains. I'd recommend this hotel based only it's potential. Let's hope it get's there. Devamı

I was there for a business conference. It was convenient to conference and downtown eateries. My roommate forgot her toothpaste and toothbrush. Within minutes the hotel provided those items. Service was wonderful!

I stayed here on a business trip. It was middle of the week in early August. First, the location. It is in downtown Baton Rouge, along the river. There really isn't any activity in downtown Baton Rouge during the day. There are a few restaurants that open up for dinner. But if you are looking for nightlife, this isn't the place to be. Second, the […] price. I booked a regular room with a river view. Unfortunately, my boss upgraded everyone in our group to the concierge level. Don't pay the extra money for this!! The "perk" is the concierge lounge, which includes breakfast. The breakfast choices were ok, but for the upgrade price, you could have a much better breakfast (actually 2 breakfasts) in the hotel restaurant or from room service Finally, the room itself. The bathrooms are tiny, especially the showers. The A/C was set so low (62) when I arrived that everything in the room, carpet, bedding, etc. felt damp. I felt like I was sleeping in a wet bed. I think it felt this way because of the huge temperature difference. The city was under a heat advisory during my stay. Despite these minor flaws, the staff is extremely friendly and helpful, the hotel is quite beautiful and is very easily accessed from I-10. However, having stayed in nearly all the major cities in this country, I don't think it is worth the price. Devamı

My husband and I have stayed at the Hilton Capital Center twice and we always enjoy the unique history of the hotel and magnificent river view. The building was "the" place to be in the 1920's-1930's when my grandmother was growing up. The Hilton renovated it beautifully to reflect its history. The rooms are small, but are beautifully decorated and […] the river view is why we like to stay there. The location is walking distance from great restaurants and bars. Good service. The bar was great, especially the bar tender Kimmie! Food was very good, breakfast quite hearty. Rooms clean, a bit old and no flat screens...

Nicely appointed, comfortable room. We faced the street and there was quite a bit of road noise. We were only there 1 night, but it was very nice.

This hotel was very nice and worth every dime, The free shuttle anywhere within 5 miles made up for any additional nightly fee we paid above the other hotels. Only complaint is that the pool did not have enough lounge chairs for such a large pool deck. I am surprised the bathroom was passed by a health dept. Shower dangerous, smallness made room uncomfortable

My husband and I were in town for a wedding. Gosh, what a wonderful stay at this Hilton. Lobby is very pretty. Met by valet parking-only at door. Hotel is a city block away from the Shaw Center for the Arts and the wedding. The two double beds were on the small size as was the room, but all was clean. The staff was excellent, professional and friendly. We […] had a great breakfast via room service one morning and then had the buffet breakfast the other morning. Expansive buffet for only $13 pp. We parked in a $5/night nearby parking lot a block away. We also were able to see the levees and the swollen Mighty Mississippi. There are lots of eateries nearby. I was very unhappy with this hotel, while it was in a great location and my room did overlook the river. The hotel was not very clean in my opinion. The bathroom was very moldy. When I went to take one of the water bottles in the room I noticed it was opened and half gone, pretty gross in my opinion. I travel alot, and understand that hotels have mold […] in some bathrooms etc. But this was one of the worst I have seen, the lobby of the hotel was very nice and clean to be fair, I must have just had a bad room. the hotel and staff were fine,easily the best in baton rouge. only complaint was small shower configuration made it difficult to turn on water without being sprayed by cold water before it became warmer.

It's a very nice hotel - close to the 3rd St night life as well. Only compaint is that they over-charge for game day weekends and it's about $100/night more than the usual costs. Otherwise, highly recommended for visitors not familiar with Baton Rouge.

Excellent hotel on every measure. Great location, very comfortable rooms, wonderful restaurant, and fantastic people
