We enjoyed our stay. Will be happy with the addition of the queen size bed!!

My stay at this hotel was overall quite good. The hotel is clean. The visuals are definitely outdated and a simple coat of paint (which was occurring while there) although improving is not enough, then again it is only a two star. Parking was decent, but their understanding of valet parking also means that you will be waiting for your car to be unboxed-in […] when you wish to leave as they oversell the parking lot at night. Other than that, the staff were very nice and the cleaning staff quite trustworthy. The free breakfast was no longer available and replaced with a less than suitable welcome basket. Devamı

It is a good basic, but not resort style, hotel on the NE corner of Waikiki (a couple of short blocks north of Kalekaua and near the Honolulu zoo). Rooms are clean and the staff was helpful. There is limited on-site parking for a daily fee. The breakfast buffet was discontinued in early April 2012. The hotel is in the area that caters primarily to Japanese […] tourists. Good value for the money.

This is a quite simple hotel, clean & includes a mini kitchen w/ dished & utensiles. OK for a quick lunch or dinner. Twin beds in room are a bit unusual...also includes sofa/day bed for 3rd guest if necessary. Do not hesitate to book if you want value and do not need frills. Good basic hotel. Not for romantic getaways or family vacations. No pool, the internet was sporatic and the tv remote was not replaced. but the staff was pleasant, the continental breakfast was good, it was next to the zoo, and we had a clean room and comfortable bed when visiting for the Aloha run. Would stay here again.

At time of check in the staff didn't even crack a smile, not even a welcome. They were the nastiest people I have ever met in hotel industry. At check in they asked for my credit card for incidentals, I travel a lot and I know places do that sometimes, but usually they let you know in advance. There is no smoking in the hotel anywhere and their little […] dumb paper that we signed said that if you are caught smoking anywhere in the hotel, they will charge 200 dollars ... There is NO VISITORS past 10pm rule in this hotel as well ( what am I 12 years old ? ) When they gave us our keys washer room , it was an old key with a number plastic keychain... gross do hotels still have that? we walked into the room and it smelled like smoke Dear lord I thought ... they will charge me $200 if I stay here because they were already not very friendly to begin with. We went downstairs and asked for a different room. they said that they are all sold out... but the lady said that the do have another room and it is open. ok we finally get our key. and there is only one key they didn't have another one they said but the next day they magically had one made even though it looked just as old as the other one... then we asked to get one bed instead of two tiny once ... we got quite a glare from all of the front desk clerk.. So two men asking for one bed were not really excepted. do hotel staff stiff behave like that? Our room also had a shower cap covering the one smoke detector in the room and I asked the front desk what that was all about and the answer was that they have to do that when they ionize the room so that the smoke detector doesn't go off.. That's just downright illegal. And I am emailing a fire marshal. BREAKFAST : this is not a joke ... I am going to post a picture of this ... the storage room for the breakfast stuff was wide open and I had to take a picture ... all the eggs are NOT REFRIGERATED and there must of been a weeks orth of food with no refregiration in a warm room... Great stay - just a few blocks from the beach, walking or bus distance to all the attractions. Also friendly and helpful staff. Clean rooms and comfy beds.

Room was run down and in disrepair. I had to go to the front desk to get towels, they couldn't bring them up to my room. This place didn't even have a clock in the room. Worst hotel experience ever.

Hotel was close to the Honolulu Zoo - which is what we wanted to see. The room had two single beds and a couch, was very reasonably priced, and had a solid free breakfast. The breakfast was in a large room that encouraged conversation between groups; delightful. I booked a two nights stay at Ewa because of the descendent price and convenient location. Unfortunately, my son and I got bug bites the first night. I report it to the front desk, they did NOTHING. I called for the housekeepers to clean the room from top to bottom and then report to the hotel manager, finally, we were moved to another room. Free Internet access, and the City Bus to everywhere in the island, is just a few feet away from the hotel.

The staff is super friendly. They do a great job in cleaning the room every morning (sometimes they would come just a little too early, like before 8am). The location is amazing, walking distance to bus stops, the beach, the Diamond Head, parks, and the shops. Mom and I stayed there for a 6 days get away and we felt the beds were pretty uncomfortable. […] But other than that, this were great. The EWA is superbly located minutes frm the beach and park.Rooftop sun deck. Breakfast OK, kitchenette units elderly, but don't need medicare yet.Good night's sleep at a fair price.

A nice quiet and peaceful hotel that's just a short walk to the Kuhio Beach. Right around the corner is the bus stop for all the touristic buses. And on the opposite direction, the public bus stop that's easy and convenient. The room is clean, simple and bright. Great view of the mountains behind and the seaside from another angle.

Location was OK, near the zoo and a few blocks from Waikiki beach and Kalalaua Ave. Near enough the busy section without being right in it. Hotel was OK for a basic place to sleep, although it could use some repair and updating. Wallpaper above sink was coming off the wall and lights for the sink and in the bathroom were just a single small bulb. 2 […] double beds. Decent budget option in good waikiki location. Just a block from the beach, smooth and quick check in and check out,on the bad side included breakfast was poor and could be disregarded, staff was barely courteous.

The hotel is older and has not been refurbished for a while. Our room carpet was dirty and stained. The hotel was difficult to find because the street sign was turned 90 degrees so it was hard to find the one-way side street. The breakfast was minimal with doughnut holes and poor quality toast. Tired hotel but clean, quiet and brilliantly located especially if with a car. Breakfast is basic to say the least but it works. Overall we were pleasantly surprised but don't expect anything fancy.

Very clean, Convenient and safe location. Healthy complimentary breakfast to start with(boiled eggs, fresh Orange juice, toast and doughnut holes) The staff is very nice. Overall a good,safe,convenient place.Walking distance for Zoo,Beach,shopping,market place and bus stops. Close(for driving) to Diamond Head, iolani palace, Convention center, airport. I preferred staying this part of town because when you walk out of Hotel, it is so lively with waterfront, people, shopping and eating place. This is a great hotel with comfort, large room, close to beach, zoo, shopping, entertainment, restaurants. I would highly recommend it to everyone. One of few hotels that serve a convenient breakfast.

Pro Room and bathroom were clean. WI-FI connectivity available. It worked! Breakfast was fair and very limited Service was very good. Hotel near the Waikiki beach. (2 blocks walk) Cons: A lot of noise from the main street (police, ambulance and firetruck sirene)

Our stay at this hotel was very pleasant. The staff is very kind and took the time to answer all our questions.

We were pleasantly surprised by this hotel. Didn't expect much since it's a budget hotel and the cheapest we could find on the Internet. Was upgraded to a nicer room when we checked in. The hotel has no security on duty. Claims it's a non-smoking hotel but allows smoking of pot in the rooms. The room next to me was smoking pot and when I called the front desk all they did was call the room and was told they were burning incense. I know the smell of pot. Hi, we were staying in this hotel for a week in August 2011. The staff of the hotel is friendly. The location is really good, only one block away from the beach and next to the Zoo. The room was clean as well. Breakfast wasnt spectacular, only some bread, donuts and eggs. At night the street is loud, so earplugs are welcome.

A basic hotel, with free but basic continental breakfast. free wifi, but you have to pay for internet , min 1/2 hour if you want to print boarding passes etc. Very close to Honolulu zoo and beaches at that end of waikiki.

Excellent local and very pleasant staff. Accomodations were great and will recommend to all friends attending next Slack key festival at Kapolani Park,next door. Mahalo

It looks like a hotel apt. with the equipment (mini kitchenette) proper for longer stay. The bed is small but the room is large enough for two persons. I found a dead small roach in the washroom at arrival. The elevator is old and slow. However, they povide a breakfast including butter, jam, eggs and small sweets. Located on a quieter side street right next to the Zoo. Breakfast basically toast, boiled eggs, coffee, juice and donuts. Beds are high quality, rooms small. But who stays in their room this near the beach?

It was an okay hotel, but nothing really noteworthy. The room was a bit small, but the amenities were fine. There was complementary breakfast, but it wasn't much of anything.

The Staff were most helpful and courteous. The location is very convenient to the Beach and Zoo and just a short walk to all the shops and attractions. Beautiful court yard for smoking, several ABC convenience stores right around the corner for snacks and beverages. Not one of the newest hotels on the beach, but clean and efficient for my two nights […] in Waikiki. Individually controlled air conditioners in the rooms. Was very pleased with my accommodations considering the price. Only cleaned up, changed clothes and slept in room, too much to do on the Island to spend locked up in the hotel room. Enjoyed my visit! Great location. Only half of rooms have balconies. I had 2 twin beds. They have very good Simmons mattresses, but twin is too small for any adult. Parking is $15 a day, like all Waikiki hotels. Breakfast is very limited, but OK. Rooms are cleaned and maintained well.
