It was a great place to stay - nice & convenient to everything & reasonably priced. Would stay again

Nothing is included in this hotel. The view is of a construction site. it's $30 to park. The night clerk is dismal. Can't recommend it.

This hotel isn't ugly or anything. It just has really bad energy. Perhaps it is the grumpy hotel clerk that doesn't welcome you, the construction going on right next door under the window, or the $30 parking fee. Whatever it is, I don't recommend this place. We couldn't wait to leave.

Rooms are small but fortunately there was a small balony to escape to. Building works next door can be noisy if you want to sleep in. Pools are very nice and overall was a pleasant stay.

Very friendly staff and our room was spacious, warm and comfortable. Very clean and tidy.

I enjoyed my stay - was impressed with the room and I loved the location. However my credit card got charged for an item in the mini bar that we did not consume.

Best Room service ceasar salad I've had in NZ - very good thanks! Any help we needed was fast and efficient - room service was super quick, hot and tasty. Room layout was neat - and not like every other room in a hotel. Pool area is a little dark and towels there would be nice, but 3 small pools is neat. Car park layout a little confusing and pull out […] bed was a little lumpy for the kids - couldn't done with a little more spare bedding in the room. Staff were helpful and efficient. Had problems getting into the room, had to change rooms and didn't get offered a parking space. Not very friendly service

Check in was very slow due to computer problems and short staffing. The room was not great. The bath had chips in the enamel. The walls were thin. We could hear the neighbors talking in a foreign language till mid morning. The noise from out side was bad with drunken people yahooing their way up the road for many hours into the morning.

Enjoyed our stay, magnificent view of the harbor and even got upgraded to 2 bedroom apartment. Would stay again, great location.

We stayed in the Grand Chancellor the night before our flight to the south island. It sits on a rather awkward location to get into. The neighborhood was questionable and very noisy. We checked in and they gave us a smoking room. They never mentioned that there were non-smoking options and the room smelled awful. Since we checked in late at night we […] were to tired to go ask for a new room. The carpet had several stains, bathroom was not very clean and the desk chair had potato chips still in the creases. No wireless Internet available. I would not recommend staying at this hotel. For a better price, location and amenities I would suggest the Mercure Hotel. Devamı

It was really close to the viaduct and Queen Street so it was easy to just walk everywhere. The room was nice and clean. The only thing was it was quite dull and dark. But there wasn't any trouble with the noise like I thought there would be which was nice. The pool was a wee bit of a disappointment as the spa seemed to be only about 30degrees. Room […] service was extremely quick which was great! Everything else was great, and if I had stayed more than one night I would definitely have tried the restaurant as the menu looked so good!! Good room, good size, clean, great bed and pleasant well equipped kitchen area. All you could want for a quick break. Pool and spa nice, though the spa jets need sorting so floor ones work. Breakfast next day was ample and usual variety of cereals, fruit and full cooked. Nice and close to everything, ferry, buses and train station.

中心街までは徒歩５分程度、その割にはホテル前は交通量はあるものの人通りは多くはないので比較的静かです。駐車場を利用の場合は30ドルかかります。週末はホテル前一帯のホブソン通りのパーキングメーターが無料になるので、週末滞在で車利用の方はわざわざホテルの駐車場を利用せずともホテル前に停められて便利です。エレベーターが２台しかないので、混雑する時間帯だと満員で乗れずに待たされる場合があります。フロント横、プール手前等に15分２ドルで利用できるパソコンが置いてありました。ホテルとして使用しているのは４階まで、上層階は住居になっています。よって写真の見た目だと高層からの眺望を期待できそうですが、実際には低層階にしか客室はありません。

Positiv: Gute Lage, sehr zentral, nur 2 min zum Hafen und zur City. Zimmer und Hotel waren qualitativ gut, kein Highlight, aber gute Ausstattung. Kleine Kochnische und Fernsehecke vorhanden. Couch leider schon alt. Sauberkeit gut. Negativ: Leider Straßenlärm sehr laut, sodass der Balkon nur eingeschränkt zu benutzen war. La chambre ne correspondait pas à notre attente, famille avec deux enfants, pourtant signalé à la réservation,matelas du canapé n'avez que le nom, et non fait, rideau dechiré, baignoire douche avec pomeau fixe ? Rue tres bruyante. Service voiturier correct
