The staff was very cordial and helpful. However, the maid cleaned the room and took our extra pillow with the linen to be cleaned. I was surprised when I arrived to learn we had to pay $100 security deposit. We were not prepared for this and was not told about it before hand. We were told we would get it back when we checked out. At checkout, the girl […] refused to give us the deposit or a statement saying we would get it back. The manager checked the room ,found no damage and said the $100 would be credited back to our account immediately. So far I have not seen it, it has been 3 days. Devamı

Great place to stay - and our regular stop when going to Myrtle Beach. Janet is super helpful! Great rates - clean rooms - close to great restaurants. Don't waste your time looking for another hotel....this is the spot!

I will definetly come back to the resort if the price is write it was a home away from home my girlfriend loved it definetly recommend this resort to anyone who loves to stay in luxury

The rooms in this hotel are HUGE!! We had tons of room to move around even with two queen beds in the room. The glass for the balcony is sound proof too. The bathroom was nice and large and the pillows were nice and fluffy. I go to Myrtle Beach all the time, and this is one of the best. Definitely in my top 2!!

I took my young daughter here for a girls weekend and was very pleased with everything. The room was cozy and clean, all of the staff were friendly and professional, and I'm sure in warmer weather the pools would be amazing. The indoor pool was enjoyable and the views were great. Overall I'm very happy with our experience.

Everything from Check in to check out was great. Facility was well maintained and clean, Amenities were as advertised. Location is excellent. Staff were very helpful! Myself and my three sons enjoyed a guys away trip together and will return to the Paradise.

So my wife and I were looking to get away for 1 night and we decided to give the Paradise Hotel a try. It was good except for 2 reasons... 1. When we got to our room the balcony door was wide open, so we closed it. We then went out to eat and by the time we got back it smelled like pure smoke. The only thing we could figure is that someone smoked in […] there before we got there and the cleaning lady left the door open all day to air it out! So we left the door open all night and even when we left. 2. The beds were EXTREMELY hard!!! My wife and I didn't sleep much at all. Other than that we had a nice stay at the Paradise Hotel. GREAT FOR HONEYMOONS ON THE TOP FLOOR!

Everything was great but had 1 minor problem. The parking garage filled up and had to park on the other side of the street. Would not have been a problem but it was the last night of our stay and had a ways to go with all our luggage the next morning. The front desk said next time to call them and they would have someone help us. I was satisfied with […] that. If you stay here be sure to go to the Market Commons. Very nice place. The ocean view was beautiful from the 7th floor. The room had 2 queen sized beds, so my daughter and I were very comfortable, and the room was large enough so that I could practice yoga! The bathroom and shower were very clean.The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. We used the hotel computer to print up maps and look into local attractions. […] The waitress in the coffee shop was so friendly , she gave us information about great places to visit like the boardwalk and Broadway. She told us about the colleges and living in SC. The pools were clean and warm. We swam outside in 65 degree weather and then went in to the indoor pool as well. We certainly took advantage of everything the hotel had to offer in our short 2 day stay. Plenty of parking in Jan, because of off season. Would love to go back Devamı

Visited during off season but weather was still nice. We stayed in a suite and it was very nice. Only complaint is that there is no breakfast included although there is a restaurant downstairs. If you decide to eat at restaurant it is cheaper if you pay at hotel lobby.

Cool people, tv's pretty outdated but being u don't go there to watch tv it doesn't count, but very pleased, rooms fully loaded and simple at the same time also very clean

Beautiful hotel inside and out. Will definitely recommend.

The hotel was exactly as represented on line. We went to Myrtle Beach to see the Night of Ten Thousand Candles in Murrells Inlet, so this hotel was very convenient. Our oceanfront deluxe suite was very spacious and well kept.

We needed a few days away and everything was perfect. Room was very clean and well furnished. It was very relaxing and had a beautiful view of the beach. Price was very good and we would love to do it again before the busy season comes back. Thanks to the owners of the condo for allowing us to share it for a few days.

Hotel and room were fine. Bed was comfortable and room was clean. Nice view of the beach, though it was rather foggy at times when we were there. The only thing was the AC controller in our room was missing batteries somehow, and we couldn't control the AC. The WiFi was fine when it worked, but it had its share of hiccups too. Also complimentary tea/coffee […] would have been nice too. Breakfast was ok for additional $7.95/person, though it would be nice to have proper orange juice, either freshly-squeezed or the pulp type, not the syrup type, especially after being charged an extra $1.68 for it. But it was fine, it's not that much and more or less personal preference. The waffle machine and freshly cooked eggs were nice. The lazy river and the spa were nice. It was also convenient to have direct access to the beach. Overall, it was a pleasant stay. Devamı

In the "Ocean View" Room, our view was of the street and the side of the next building... and between our hotel wall and the wall of the building next door you could see the ocean. When I asked the hotel clerk she said: It is not an "Ocean front" but an Ocean View".... it did not seem to matter theat 50% of the view was the street and 35% building […] walls. Devamı

I'm usually a Marriott traveler, but chose this hotel/resort because of the deal. The stay was on par with most of the Marriott stays I've had. Rooms clean, great location, and courteous staff. Did have a mixup with a late checkout request, but staff was courteous as well as myself. From me calling to see if we could check in early from the time we left everything was great. I've stayed at a lot of nice places around the country and never write reviews but felt obgligated to comment on the Paradise Resort. The front desk staff was great, room with a great view, and very clean and comfy. Will surely return. Brian

The hotel staff person at the registration desk was not very friendly and only wanted to make her little speech that she has to give to people as they register. No chit chat nor pleasantries exchanged, only a cold stare. Our room was an efficiency with a side view of the ocean. The view was very limited and there was only a very small portion of the […] ocean viewable due to another hotel next to the Paradise obstructing the vies. We tried to upgrade to a ocean front but we were told none were available yet there was only one other room on our floor that we saw guests going in and out of during our 5 night stay. I think the clerk just didn't want to be bothered with changing our location even though we were willing to pay the difference. This place does not provide amenities commonly found at other hotels. Examples, if you want to wash your hands you had better take your own soap. If you want to shower and wash your hair the same thing applies they don't provide soap, body wash nor shampoo. Need to blow your nose, take your own tissues because they don't provide them in the room. Want to make a cup of coffee or tea in the hotel provided coffee maker, take your own because they do not provide coffee or tea. I also suggest you take some disposable hot drink cups because they will leave the same 4 cups in your room without washing or exchanging them with clean cups. The room was reasonably clean and our beds were made and clean towels left every day. I could not tell for certain if the carpet was vacuumed during our stay for sure but I suspect not. The location is good because it is far enough from the center of Myrtle Beach to be a little less hectic traffic wise. Parking was adequate with easy access in and out. There are 4 centrally located elevators and the move quickly so you don't have to wait very long to get on or off. Bottom line is that we have been to Myrtle Beach many times and we have stayed at nicer places with better guests services for around the same or ev Devamı

Very quiet. Ocean view was immaculate. Carpet was extremely clean!! Staff was attentive! I will most certainly stay again!

Wasn't our first visit, but was the nicest accomodations so far. Nice condo, comfortable and conveinent. Pool and lazy river nice, beach access easy. Must have transportation to see the sights. Parking was easy because we were off season. Hotel staff was excellent, especially house keeping. Might want to stay long term during winter????

The room walls were paper thin, you could hear everything around you. Our air conditioner was broken and the hotel was unable to fix it. The women at the front desk were very rude and had terrible customer service skills.

The efficent room that we stayed in had nasty carpet and the bed was very very uncomfortable! However, the room was cleanier than I thought it would be. There also was not a table in the room to eat at even tho there were 2 chairs. The outside of the hotel is deceiving as I thought the room would be nicer like the outside, so I was disappointed. We […] stayed in a room w/ an ocean view (not ocean front) and we were able to see the ocean if we sat in a chair on the balcony and looked between the buildings. FYI- Don't be scared that their towels come in different colors (white and beige), we were concerned until we found out that the hotel did that on purpose and that the towels aren't dingy. Even though our room looked like a room from a run down roadside cheap motel, it actually had some good qualities like: the closet is in the bathroom, it's very deep. We were able to put our luggage and beach chairs in it w/ room to spare! The bathroom sink has a cabinet below and it was nice to store the extra towels and etc. inside and out of sight. The mini frig is on the bigger size so we were able to buy a gallon of milk! The microwave is bigger than expected and sits on a counter top above the frig w/ enough room to make a sandwich. Also having a parking deck to park our car in out of the weather was really nice as well. If you can get past the nasty carpet, the beds being horrible to sleep on and there not being a table to eat on, it's a decent hotel. Devamı

The reviews of this hotel said it was very clean--for the most part, that was true. But I looked at my white socks after walking around the room for a while and they were filthy, so the carpet definitely needed cleaning...This was a side view room. it contained 2 doubles, a very small tv, no tv directory, no coffee for the coffee pot that was in the […] room , and a very strange sound eminating from the bathroom, that sounded like a giant bees nest in the shower. The room had 2 occasional chairs, but oddly enough, no table, so if you brought in food, you had to sit on the bed to eat... Our room was on the ninth floor, but the parking building only goes to the 4th floor, so then you have to take the elevator to your floor--odd! Make no mistake, it was a very nice hotel, the room was well kept, but we probably won't return for a lot of little things, that if they were corrected, could be a great hotel. Devamı

I was worried but it really turned out great. First time using hotel.com wont be last.

The hotel staff were friendly and had everything ready for my arrival. The deluxe suite was clean and had ample space for more guest. Our room was equipped with a full kitchen and a washer and dryer; everything was in working order. The room, hallways and parking deck could have used some additional ligthing and or higher wattage bulbs. During the […] night these areas looked poorly lighted and caused a "dingy" look to the hotel. There were pleanty of attractions near the hotel with the main strip just 3 miles away. Beach access was easy to get to and there was ample room to socialize around the pool area. For a moderately priced hotel it exceeded all my expectations from service, location and amenities. I would recommend this hotel to families who are looking for a safe and secure location to enjoy all Myrtle Beach has to offer while on vacation. Devamı

Overall this was a great place to stay. The only thing I was disappointed in was the pools. I was under the impression that there was an indoor pool but it was still open to the outside. The staff was excellent!

The hotel staff were fantastic, which is such a rarity. We declined daily maid service, but the front desk called each evening to see if we needed anything. It was nice to get extra towels, trash bags, etc, without the hassle of full-maid service. The room was clean and came with standard amenities. We stayed in a suite. Two negatives: no in-room safe […] (get a personal travel "safe," beforehand), and no internal doors to separate the rooms of the suite. I should have noticed that from the floor plan on the website, but it didn't occur to me that the main bedroom would not have a door to separate it from the kitchen and living room with Murphy bed. The kids slept in the Murphy bed, but we had to be extra quiet and keep lights and TV down after they went to bed. I hope they will install a doorway between the bedroom and kitchen, because we really liked everything else. Devamı
