Alpine Haus - Vernon

I stayed at Alpine as a last min trip up North. This bed and breakfast was very sweet and very clean. Cute little place, I felt as though i was staying at a relatives house. They even had breakfast for me in the morning (which in fact i missed, due to slepping) but when i was leaving I was asked if I wanted to take a muffin for the road. My husband and I stayed here recently on a late summer getaway. We really enjoyed the size and the amenities in our room (the Buttercup suite in the separate guest house): the fireplace was awesome and the jacuzzi tub a nice touch. Besides the bed, the furniture in the room was extremely old, however; I was a little afraid I was going to fall right […] through the chair. The (stand-alone) shower had accessible features, but they were annoying for us since we didn't need them -- the shower head kept falling out of hook (falling on each of us, separately). And unless the people staying above us were innate stompers, the insulation between the two rooms was awful -- we could hear them walking around, using the bathtub, etc. The microwave and fridge were weirdly in the bathroom, but at least they were there. We didn't see the main house, besides the "lobby" and dining room, but both were comfortable. The breakfasts were delicious. There wasn't much to see or do in the surrounding neighborhood besides hiking (though I'm sure this is different in the winter -- I think there was a ski lodge nearby), but there are plenty of cute towns and wineries within a short driving distance (over the border in NY). I would definitely stay here again if we were to return to the area, though I'd choose a different room. Devamı

Had a nice stay and enjoyed the hospitality and creative breakfasts served. Jack and Allison were great and we look forward to going back again!

There were 2 things which were fairly outstanding about our visit to Alpine Haus: the breakfast was really wonderful, especially a yogurt cup that was amazing...I'm not a yogurt lover, either. The owner also directed us to a nature walk a few miles away and we went out of our way to take a walk. It was such a relaxing and nice way to spend about 45 […] minutes after breakfast and we were grateful for her suggestion. Tucked away in northern NJ, this would be a relaxing and inexpensive B&B weekend. There is public golf nearby, a 3* or 4* restaurant nearby and close to NYC, too. I don't think hotel.com's price was discounted more than $5, but it did help us to find it. So, good job, hotels.com. Devamı

We throughly enjoyed our stay at Alpine Haus. The owners/hosts were gracious and accommodating. The breakfast fare was outstanding. We definitely would stay here again if we were returning to the area.

+: accueil et confort trés agréable petit déjeuner plus que délicieux. -: situation en bord de route ( surtout quand elle est refaite dutrant votre séjour).
