We were being taken advantage of by a taxi driver .Kemal came to our rescue. He spoke with the driver and told us the correct amount to give him. 20 euro less than the driver wanted. We were very upset when we got there ready to find the first plane back to united states. He sat us down offered us tea and breakfast. Everyone in the hotel made us feel […] so welcome.. We had just left a cruise ship of 24 days and this hotel was exactly what we needed. They arranged everything else we needed for our trip, guide, shuttle to restaurants. The location is very good, just 200mts from Beyasit tramway station, 5min from Grand Bazaar and 10min from BlueMosque/HagaSophia. Couple of convenience stores only at 200mts and restaurants within 5min walk (even a Burger King, in case you are a lousy native of the US that cannot adapt to loacl habits and survives only with nothing but your crappy regular […] habits). It's worth mentioning the staff, always in a great mood to answer your questions, give advice, etc. The reception has a computer with web access also very useful. They sent me a huge cab to pick up at airport for euro25 and euro 20 to get back (almost same price as a regular street cab). The restaurant/breakfast room is quite small but nice, pretty well served. Our room was quite small, and that's the only minus of the hotel I can mentioned. I truly recommend it. Devamı

We stayed at the Niles for a romantic long weekend and really enjoyed our stay there. The rooms were very clean, breakfast was good, and the location was excellent. It is about a 10 minute walk to all the main sights. Surely, there are hotels closer to the main sights but these are a lot more tacky. In agreement with all other reviews, the hotel staff […] were extremely friendly and helpful although they had the tendency to recommend the "touristy" option. This is basically a very nice small and friendly hotel.The basic rooms are very small and there is not much hanging space for clothes. It's in quıte a noisy area and the rooms are not very well soundproofed. Breakfast was good and served on the very pleasant rooftop terrace. However a club sandwich ordered at lunchtime took 40minutes to arrive and consisted […] of breakfast leftovers! In the evening they will order in reasonable Turkish food from a local restaurant The tram stop is 5 minutes walk away and gives easy access to all the sights. The hotel is in a great location close to most sights and restaurants. The staff are friendly and very helpful. The rooms are small but are clean and comfortable. The roof top is a great place for a drink in the afternoon. The hotel arranged tours for us and a shuttle to the airport at a reasonable price. Overall a very good place to stay.

We chose this hotel because the numerous pictures on the website made it appear that the rooms would be beautiful. This is not the case. The room that we were provided was big enough to hold a double bed and small sitting chair. It was difficult for two of us to be standing in the room at the same time. I asked why the rooms didn't look like the pictures on the website and they told me that the pictures on the website were of the two suites. Near most all of the tourist spots in the old city. Staff is great and is always helpful.

We took advantage of the Hotel pick up service from the airport. The Niles was a good Hotel, and well positioned for walking to most of the attractions, and was a short walk to the tram stop, and the Grand Bazaar. The rooms although small, were very clean. Staying at Niles Hotel Istanbul was very enjoyable for us. Not only it was very clean and comfortable, but very close to the places we wanted to see. The personnel of the hotel were also very kind & friendly. We definitely recommend it to those who like to travel to Turkey & visit Istanbul.

Our stay at Hotel Niles was great! The hotel staff was very hospitable and helpful. The hotel was clean and the service was great. Hotel location is perfect to get around and see the sights (Grand Bazaar, Blue Mosque, Hagia Sofia)--all within walking distance.

A very nice and friendly hotel within short walking distance from main tourist attractions without being in the really tourist ghettos. Or the tram is 2 minutes away and . The room was a little small compared to standard chain hotel size but certainly wasn't cramped. The Niles Hotel is everything we had read from other reviewers. The staff were friendly and helpful and the rooms very clean. Breakfast was on the sunny 5th floor terrace room with the cockateils with good views over the fishing port. The buffet consisted of a simple cooked breakfast of scrambled egg, sausage and chips with various salads, fresh & dried […] fruit, yogurt and biscuits and pastries to finish with. We were grateful for the free internet access when we were informed that Gatwick was closed due to the snow back home. The hotel is within a short walks of the the Grand Bazzar, the Blue Mosque and the Aya Sofya and close to the restaurants on the way down to the port. We ate one night at the fish market near the port and had fresh blue fish, red mullet and a huge whelk washed down with raki. The meal was a lttle pricey but a very enjoyable evening. We also recommend the Pinces Islands, just a few TL on the ferry from Kabatas, good views of the city and once again lots of great fish restaurants. Oh, and not fortgetting the trip to the Cemberlitas Hammam, very relaxing after a hard days sight seeing. All in all we had a great 3 days in Istanbul and would reccomend it for a short break and stay at the Niles again now we have mastered the public transport system! Devamı

overall it was a good hotel. staff and the view were AMAZING!!! so friendly and kind people. the hotel is a good place to start discovering istanbul and its touristic places. every sightseeing spot are close by. but if u want to expirience and see the rea nicel istanbul, then go to taksim,beyoglu and the asian part of istanbul.

The service really was outstanding, the reception staff in particular did everything in their power to assist. The standard rooms are a little pokey, but well-presented.

The Niles Hotel exceeded our expectations. Particular highlights are the relaxing lobby area with internal courtyard and the roof top terrace. It is a sanctuary amongst the busy streets of Istanbul. A gorgeous boutique hotel.

All the staff at the hotel were extremely friendly, polite and helpful. They were always ready to provide any information or extra service you might need, from an arranged transportation to the airport to an early breakfast in the room. The views from the terrace where breakfast is served are absolutely gorgeous and the perfect way to start the day. My friends and I occupied 2 rooms for 5 nights at The Niles and we could not have had a more pleasant experience. If you go to Istanbul, you must stay at the Niles. Whilst this hotel is not a plush 5 star premesis it certainly ticked all the boxes for a comfortable budget stay in Istanbul. Wir haben uns im Hotel wohlgefühlt. Der Service war sehr gut. Das Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Zimmer sind relativ klein aber sehr sauber. Die Lage in unmitelbarer Nähe des Bazars ist ideal. Die blaue Mosche und Hagia Sophia sind zu Fuss erreichbar. Auch die Haltestelle des Trams befindet sich in unmitelbarer Nähe. Hotellets personal var mycket vänliga och tillmötesgående. Jag hade oturen att bli sjuk under min vistelse, men personalen hjälpte till med taxi till ett bra sjukhus och de ringde även dit och förvarnade att jag skulle komma så jag slapp vänta särskillt länge. Standarddubbelrummen verkade överlag vara väldigt små, under 10kvm, med badrum på ca 1kvm. […] Dvs väldigt trångt, men å andra sidan är man ju nästan aldrig på rummet. SKicket på rummet var ganska slitet med lossnande tapeter etc. Sängarna var stenhårda i vanlig ordning när man kommer ner till medelhavsländerna. Receptionen och entreplan var det dock bra skick på. Läget är helt OK med gångavstånd till de flesta sevärdheterna, dock ganska ruffigt område men inget man behöver vara rädd för, bara inte så kul att titta ut genom rumsfönstret. Frukosten serverades på takterassen som var helt underbar med mycket grönska, kvittrande burfåglar och en härlig utsikt mot Marmarasjön. Själva frukosten var tämligen standard men godkänd. Automatkaffet smakar skitdåligt men annars var det OK kvalitet på resten. Tycker priset för rummet var lite väl högt med tanke på standarden, men det är överlag dyrt med hotell i IIstanbul tydligen. Skulle nog kunna tänka mig samma hotell igen om jag inte hittar alternativ som verkar bättre. Devamı

Tranvía cercano, Gran Bazar igual, la situación es muy buena, el hotel sin lujos está bien....el baño es demasiado pequeño. El desayuno deficiente y la limpieza muy bien

Das Hotel ist total in Ordnung, es hat eine wunderschöne Dachterrasse auf der gefrühstückt wird und sehr nettes Personal. Einzig störend sind die Nähereien rundherum um das Hotel, die tw. die ganze Nacht durch arbeiten. Laut Rezeption wird der Stadtteil ab 2012 umgestaltet, heißt, Nähereien weg, Cafés und Restaurants hin. Dann kann ich das Hotel durchaus […] empfehlen. Die Zimmer im Altbau sind bereits Suiten, die im Anbau werden es 2012. Damit dürfte auch der Preis steigen. Devamı

I found Niles Hotel an excellent choice in Istanbul. It was near all the main sights, and service was excellent. The staff was helpful, and the breakfast choices were many. I had a suite with Turkish bath, wchich was roomy and comfortable. They also had good pillows, which is not always the case in hotels. Ett perfekt hotel med glad, tillmötesgående och serviceinriktad personal. Takterassen med utsikt, var en grön oas för frukost och en perfekt plats att komma bort en stund från ett Istanbul full av liv! Ett hotel man vill återkomma till helt enkelt!

Imellem 11 millioner mennesker i Istanbul, og så være på et hotel i stilhed, havudsigt fra den frodige blomstrene tag - terrasse og et suplimt personale, så vil vi kalde det ferie. Hotellet og byen kan anbefales. fem stjerne.

清潔で従業員の対応もよく、観光スポットにも近いという点では５点なのですが、泊まった部屋がクラシック・ルームという一番低いグレードだったためか、部屋でくつろぐことはできませんでした。せまくて、ちょっときゅうくつでしたね。ただ、これはここのリビューを見て知っていたことなので。。。次に泊まるとしたらもう少しいい部屋にします(笑）

die Bewertung des Zimmers bezieht sich auf die Suite, das gebuchte Zimmer war zu klein für zwei Personen. Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral, man kann gut alles zu Fuss erreichen. Das Hotelpersonal ist ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend

スタッフの対応とサービスが素晴らしいです。観光スポットの説明やレストラン紹介など丁寧にしてくれます。 場所もバザールに徒歩3分、トラム駅に徒歩2分で便利です。アヤソフィア・ブルーモスクへもトラム使えば10分くらいで到着できます。屋上にあるオープンルーフでの朝食・カフェは気分がよいです。 一点だけ残念だったのは、角部屋になると隣のビルの工事騒音がかなり気になってしまうことです。私は角部屋だったので部屋の変更を依頼し、快く変えてくれたので良かったのですが、空きが無かったならば不満が残ってしまったことでしょう。予約時に角部屋でない部屋を指定することをお勧めします。
