Comfort Inn And Suites - Cave City

Staff was very hospitable and eager to help orient us to the National Park at Mammoth Caves nearby. Suite was very comfortable and well appointed.

Great room, very nice bed and bathroom. But...some minor investments in technology would push this location to Great. Only 14 or so TV stations and slow internet signal, using an old 11 mps system. Pop for those improvements and I would score all 5s.

There are hotels in Cave City, then there are NICE hotels - this was a NICE hotel. We've stayed at several others and this one was undoubtedly, by far, the best. Make your stay even better by going to Sahara for dinner.

It was actually a pretty normal hotel. Nothing to rave about but not too much to complain about either. I suppose if there was something I would improve it would be the breakfast. Not too good. Should have gone to Cracker Barrel across the street.

There was a musty smell coming out of the AC which was unpleasant, and it was quite unfortunate that the windows didn't open to offset that. Other than that, the bed was very comfortable, and the room was clean.

Staff were very friendly, room was very clean. Hotel is minutes away from Mammoth Cave, Kentucky Action Park, and other area attractions. For the price, I would highly recommend. Kids also loved the pool. We went to Cracker Barrel, which was walking distance from the hotel, for breakfast, so I can't comment on the hotel food.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. We like Comfort Inns, including this one. But half of the equipment in the exercise room was not working.

I like Comfort Inns and Suites, as do my young sons, but this wasn't as nice as many that we've stayed at.

maid service was terrible. They emptied the trash cans but did not replace the glasses or make the bed or throw away the newspapers and wine bottles that were placed right by the trash can.

We stayed 3 nights and apparently they are only used to one night stays. We had to constantly ask for soap and shampoo. Nothing good to eat in the area other than Cracker Barrel and a Mexican restaurant.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel as the room was always clean and we never heard any other guests. The breakfast was actually more than we expected. It was nice to have a small refrigerator, coffee maker and microwave in the room as we were traveling to visit family in Glasgow, KY each day. I was on the 1st.floor next to the registration, i prefer to be on the top floor, where you can't here noise above you.

The Comfort Inn at Cave City was a clean, comfortable hotel in a good location close to Mammoth Cave, many extra activities, and interstate 65. Several good restaurants and gas stations were also nearby. Would recommend.

The staff was polite and efficient. The rooms were new, very clean and comfortable. The price was very reasonable. The FREE hot breakfast included scrambled eggs and ham, waffles, plus donuts, bagels, etc. -- all you could want in the way of variety. Perfect. The bed was like a brick. I couldn't hardly sleep and eventually woke up sore all over. My wife slept in the chair which was more confortable. Other then the bed, the hotel was very nice. Would not stay again unless the mattress was replaced. Mexican restaurant near hotel which was very nice.

This hotel maintained the minimum standards of comfort for our taste. It was fairly clean and comfortable. But the breakfast was bare bones and the wireless internet connection was non-existant. We stayed at the Sleep Inn next door 2 nights later and were much more impressed. Competition has this place beat hands down !!!

This is a very nice hotel to stay at when in Cave City. I would recommend it to others. This was my second stay at this establishment and will probably return on my next visit. We were in the room next to the pool, which was a little noisy during the day, but after they closed the pool for the evening it was very quiet. Quality and cleanliness were very good, as expected for a Comfort Inn. The location is great being so close to Mammoth Cave and within walking distance of a few restaurants. However, it was rather pricey compared to the other hotels in the same area.

Everything was great about this hotel. It is located reasonably close to all of the surrounding attractions, especially Mammoth Caves. My family and I enjoyed the friendly staff, complimentary breakfast (although, it could use a protein addition like sausage and gravy or something like that), and the indoor pool. The pool came in handy at least 3 times […] a day for my kids with the temperatures being close to 100 degrees F. The hotel was clean and new and and a completely enjoyable experience (except their wireless internet was down all 3 days we were there, which was a real bummer because who really uses dial-up much anymore these days). Hotel is located near Cracker Barrel, Pizza Hut, and some fast food places. Room was quiet, clean, and surprising larger than I expected. Breakfast area was an okay size but needs too be larger. We ate early and had no problem getting a seat. There were 2 waffle makers but no fresh fruit. Thay had instead a bowl of mixed fruit, We prefer the fresh fruit! […] Would we stay again? Most likely. The hotel is convienent to Mammoth Caves but not a whole lot more to do around. Our room had stained furniture, the pool area was dirty and looked old and that it needed maintenance. The hotel was expensive for the quality of our experience, I would not recommend this hotel at all.
