"Beautiful location"
This hotel was nicely maintained and has a pool deck and a view of the ocean, and a decent free continental breakfast. Currently the roads are being upgraded, and the streets are hard to pass, but this is not the hotel's fault and it's only temporary. The room was nice and had a view of the water. We enjoyed the sunset on the balcony. Ask at the desk […] for some of the great local restaurants, they were very good. Fort Pierce is not the bustling and happening place like Miami Beach, or Fort Lauderdale, but it's a beautiful quiet little city. "OK for Area"
This is a decent hotel although a little pricey for the product. Great location, building condition is ok as is the room but both could use some polish. Friendly staff. Good cookies
"Very Pleasant"
We loved staying at the Sandhurst. The staff was more than friendly and helpful, the room was very comfortable and surrounding area was delightful...we definately recommend it!! Not to mention the nice free breakfast!

The Sandhurst was a good value for the room price. Not fancy, but everything we needed while on the road.

"Very Welcoming"
Walking distance to two restaurants and a tiki w/food. Checked in and was offered fresh baked hot from the oven chocolate chip cookies. Pleasant rooms each with a small balcony. Older furnishings in my room.
They allowed us to check in early. They told us good morning when we came downstairs each morning. In other words, warm, friendly service. We enjoyed our stay. The view from the fourth floor balcony was awesome. And we especially liked the decor of the breakfast room.
"Excellent Staff"
Our stay for 8 nights was very enjoyable. The staff was excellent and the breakfast was very good. The one main thing I enjoyed is that they had a computer hooked up to a printer and I could print our boarding pass for our plane at no charge. That was very nice. A nice touch.

The bed was quite hard to the point that we woke up with shoulder and back discomfort. The overall room was mediocre, with a quite tiny balcony.

We really liked the the Sandhurst. the staff was very friendly, the room was clean, the hallways bright. The hotel faces the Indian River inlet and is a short drive to the beach. If you age going to Hutchison Island to visit the beach make this hotel the place to rest your head. If you are looking for a spa hotel - go to a spa hotel. Beach by day and […] pool by night. "Stayed during a "monsoon"..."
The front office desk, security, breakfast personnel) were super! The maid service was a little lacking...didn't refresh all towels or properly vac. the room. The room was in need of updating (drape needed cleaning an hemming and couch needed cleaning) and better venting. IIt rained 3 of 4 days an the room seemed to hold th moisture. Parking was good […] and convienent. View overlooking the water was great an we even had manatees come near the shore and we enjoyed watching them. If you have a boat they have a small dock for mooring an fishing. The pool and hot tub were nice too. With all this said - I would go back! Devamı

"Needs Updates"
When I first got to the hotel I was thinking to myself nice picture on the advertisement but what kind of place is this. I checked in and the lady at the register was really helpful and wanted to make sure everything was in perfect condition for me. I extended my time here and the gave me the price that i paid on here at hotel.com; not many people give […] the same price. The place was kind of 5 star from the 90s I would say because some of the designs and area just dont look up to date. I didnt like how the stair ways where only one way (exit). Great service but the some of the looks in the place need remodeled and up to date. Also because they except pets I was thinking they would have an area for them to use the restroom but they dont. I went across the street to a plane grass section and I just wondering how i would get my dogs to use the bathroom other than on the mulch. Devamı
"Sandhurst /Fort Pierce"
Once again we enjoyed our stay at the Sandhurst. The staff is friendly aand extremely helpful. Breakfast is always good. The view of the Fort Pierce Inlet is great. Sunrise and sunset views are spectacular. 'Can't wait to go back again.
"Hotel Stay"
This hotel needs to be refurbished, it is worn out. I checked in on a holiday weekend (4:30 p.m.) and there was not enough cleaning staff to get the hotel rooms ready. I was upgraded to a suite which was no more than regular room with an old couch and refrigerator. Location was excellent. "The Sandhurst Hotel & Suites in Hutchinson Island,"
We had a wonderful stay. The staff (Neil) was great! He was right on top of anything we needed. He took time to tell us about the area and the sights we might be interested in. Great view and I loved the cat that lived on the docks. That was a true picture of living the sea life. Thanks for everything and we will be back!

if you don't mind just a place to sleep is Okay. View fromt the rooms not even partial ocean or inlet. Breakfast 65 items? misleading, but I do have to say the staff very friendly.
"Clean Friendly Bargain"
Clean hotel, friendly staff, and good price. Advertised as 'Resort and Spa' is a little exaggerated. It has a small pool and jacuzzi facing the inlet waterway, but it's relaxing. Way better than staying at the hotels lining the interstate. Also, excellent free breakfast and internet. Was very pleased.
"Sandhurst hotel Fla. jensen beach area"
This is the worst hotel we have ever stayed at. It was very noisy . There were drunk people yelling. They were slamming doors at all hours of the morning. We finally left at 2am and canceled the next night there. Now to find out that they have charged us for both nights...never again very rude also couldn't get hot water in the shower...

The staff was very friendly and gave us helpful recommendations on local places to eat and visit. Our only disappointment was they ran out of big pool towels and had to substitute smaller bath towels later in the day. Breakfast was very good, too.

"The Sandhurst hotel in Fort Pierce"
My wife and I returned to our hotel room after a day at the beach to find our room had not been cleaned. Dirty towels were left in the bathroom, trash cans not emptied, etc... The night manager did not offer to clean the room but did replace the wet towels.
"Beautiful view"
Wonderful place for a couple or the entire family. Lots to see and do as long as you like the outdoors. Great food of all kinds from fast food to fine dining.

The Hotel was clean and the staff excellent. The hotel is located close to the beach and reasturants and a good place to stay.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The setting is great on the Ft. Pierce inlet. The hotel has a private docking and fishing area. Downtown Ft. Pierce is 2 miles away and the walk is scenic. The staff at the hotel was very friendly. I highly recommend staying at this hotel. By the way, the crew of the Goodyear blimp was staying there too. Even the hotel was average for the star ratings - no frills, but very pleased with the stay, the staff were very nice and helpful! Gave good advice for local stores, sights and even where to get bait for the fishing. They made local calls to check stock and opeing hours. Hotel does say it offers 65 different items for breakfast - well, if you count […] the individual sugar sachets, maybe! A good breakfast, no complaints - but dont go counting! Devamı

Extremely nice personnel at hotel. Facility is older and hows age, but is right for the price. Bathroom shower curtain was soiled and needed cleaning.

Parents and 2 young children. Just wanted a couple of days away and saw Sandhurst had good rates and was on the water. It's on a waterway about a half mile from the beach and you can drive to the beach if you like in 2 minutes. The pool is a little small but clean and we enjoyed it.
