It was fabulous!!!

Had a wonderfultimes, great location, excellent service. Hotel breakfast and dinners were equally excellent.

As this was a special occasion for us, we splashed out on 4 nights in a superior room with a huge balcony. The view from the room and position of the hotel on the lakefront is first class. First the hotel is next to a prime ferry location including car transport for anywhere on Lake Como. The ride to Como was about 30 minutes but the scenery is fabulous. The hotel is beautiful and the view of the lake from our room was spectacular. The rooms are need some updating mainly the a/c. The hotel restaurants are great with long pants required […] for males. Definitely one of the best places to stay in if you want to experience the surroundings. Beautiful views of the lake from the poolside. Coffee is horrendous, though!!

This hotel has a great deal of old fashioned charm. Although the rooms were clean and freshly decorated, they do have a slightly dowdy feel. It is not a trendy place. However, the service was very good and it was relaxed and in a superb location. The room would have been more comfortable if the furniture had been arranged in such a way to allow a small […] sofa and table - there was lots of room to do this. The views from the pool and lounge are fabulous and the gardens with the wisteria and blossom just wonderful. It is also in a great position to get ferries to other lovely villages in the area. We loved walking into town (2 mins) to enyoy the lovely restaurants and please make sure you visit Gelateria Edo in the main piazza. My other one fault in the hotel which marred our visit slightly was the rather poor breakfast. The coffee was instant and always just too cold. The selection of food was adequate rather than sumptuous as I would have expected from a hotel of this calibre. Otherwise, just sit back and enjoy the old time glamour. Devamı

We stayed in this hotel during our honeymoon and I cannot praise it enough. The staff were excellent and the room cleanliness was fabulous. We booked a superior room with lake view and we were very happy with it. The hotel is also beside the ferry which is ideal for sightseeing, etc. Breakfast was delicious with a great variety of food. The only negative […] I have about this hotel is there was not free WiFi available to guests and we had to pay for it and go to the reception area to be able to access it. Devamı

The hotel was very much in 'the grand old style'...with courteous and very helpful service, a slightly dated decor evocative of past splendours...but nevertheless extremely comfortable, and with all modern conveniences. Very nice to have a fridge in the room, although space for drinks would have been useful. Quality of the quisine was excellent, but […] fairly expensive, and there were few alternative restaurants in Menaggio. When you walk in, wow!!! The backdrop of the pool, lake and mountains. Very relaxing hotel. Great to walk around in surrounding town as well as catching a boat to tour the lake. Could not have picked a better place.

Mennagio is a small resort but a great location for visiting Lake Como. The hotel is in an excellent location on the lakeside with the town square, cafes and restaurants only a short stroll away. The ferry terminal is near the hotel but there is not intrusive. The hotel grounds and pool area are great for realaxing in with plenty of sun loungers and […] a good towel service. The dining room wall 'retracts' prviding an 'al fresco' dining environment and there are also tables on the patio for breakfast and dinner. A very good breakfast buffet with hot and cold selections. Dinner is good but rather pricey! There is a range of alternative places for dinner in Mennagio itself and lower cost. Devamı

This hotel is an old European style hotle with very tiny, sparsely decorated rooms and even tinier bathrooms. They assume that you will spend time in the salon, reading, etc. The room was spartan for the money. The location, Mennagio, is a small town with very little to do, and became boring in a matter of a day. The hotel staff was pleasant and helpful. […] The breakfast was included and very nice. The dinner was nice, but a pricey for what you get. All in al, not a hotel I would stay at again, and not a vacation spot if you are looking for more than sitting by the pool and walking along the waterfront for coffee. Devamı

Hotel is situated in a perfect location with fantastic views of the lake and easy access to local amenities. With its own sun terrace and swimming pool it is perfect for those wishing to enjoy the sun, whilst the ferries and local buses are all within two minutes walk. Nice hotell and friendly and helpful staff. We had a nice room with a beautiful view over the lake.

Die Lage des Hotels ist gut, die Zimmer sind zu teuer und entsprechen nicht einem 4 Sterne Standard. Der Service und das Personal ist nicht Kundenfreundlich, es wirkt abweisend und überhaupt nicht hilfsbereit, als Beispiel, bei unserer Ankunft hat es sehr stark geregnet, als wir mit dem Auto vorfuhren, hat sich der Portier sofort abgewendet und verschwand, […] so dass wir die Koffer selber durch den Regen an die Reception schleppen durften. Auch der Empfang an der Repception war mehr abweisend als willkommend. Wir werden uns hüten, in diesem Hotel nochmals Gast zu sein. Devamı

Très bel hôtel avec belle vue sur le lac, de belles possibilités de promenade, belle piscine, service agréable, rien à redire en particulier.

Nous avions pris une chambre vue mer Notre chambre possédait un balcon avec vue direct sur la piscine et le lac sublime! Par contre nous avons été très déçu par l accueil du personnel du restaurant qui a littéralement agressé verbalement mon compagnon lorsqu il lui a demande si nous pouvions diner dans la chambre Quel dommage! Het Grand Hotel Menaggio is vlakbij het centrum gelegen. Tevens als voordeel de ferry's die vertrekken naast het hotel. Nadeel is de parkeerplaatsen, deze zijn veel te weinig.

das Hotel liegt in unmittelbarer Ortsnähe und ist eines der wenigen Hotels am Comersee mit direktem Seezugang. Das Preis / Leistungsverhältnis ist absolut OK. Das Hotel ist allerdings für Kinder unter 8 Jahren nicht geeignet.

hôtel bien situé, juste en face du lac, c'était magnifique, la chambre propre et bien entretenu, l'accueil sympathique, le petit déjeuner gourmand, des navettes chaque 10 min en bas de l’hôtel pour visiter les villages à côté. franchement, on est très satisfait de notre choix, pas de regret!!! a recommander.

Réceptionspersonal nicht sehr freundlich, das andere Personal war sehr nett. Wir hatten ein Zimmer zur Strasse, eher laut, auch mit geschlossenen Fenstern.

Magnifique édifice du siècle dernier donnant sur le lac, proche du centre ville animé et de l'embarcadère. Piscine très agréable, jardin-solarium et restaurant-terrasse de qualité. Etat impeccable des chambres, petits déjeuners copieux et savoureux. Parking gratuit. C'est un lieu de détente et de repos remarquable, idéalement situé au coeur du lac. Bon "vrai 4 étoiles" - chambre vue lac superbe - sdb et petit déj décevants compte tenu du reste des prestations mais pas un pb. Rare : la route passe derrière l'hôtel, donc pour chambre vue lac - resto - bar - piscine il n'y a plus que le jardin et le lac, magnifique !

très bel hotel , plutôt luxueux, d'un grand confort , avec piscine, idéalement situé pour partir à la découverte du lac et de la région

Ein traumhafter Urlaub in einem wirklich schönen Hotel in der Bucht von Menaggio. Man sollte unbedingt etwas mehr Geld ausgeben und "Seeblick" buchen!! Einziges kleines Ärgernis ist die unbefriedigende Parkplatzsituation...

Ett fint anrikt Grand Hotell med superfint läge, bra service. Riktigt bra frukost och mkt bra service i både reception, bar, restaurang och övrigt.

Mycket bra hotell med mycket bra restauranger och service. Kanske inget för barnfamiljen. Fri parkering, pool (samma djup (~1,5m) i hela), direkt vid vackra Comosjön. Det kostar men det är det värt. På själva hotellet så är det sedan bättre priser än annars på mat, dryck, minibar osv.

Take care!! It says that you are 4 km from Bellagio, but thats by boat!! Its a very nice hotel, but you are stuck in a small town. I find the restaurant too expensive compared to other restaurants, and there are not to many other choices in the small towm of Mennagio.

Tres bien situe, mais service mini. Frequentation 3eme age. Petit dejeuner tres pauvre en choix et qualite.
