Ambassadeur Hotel - Quebec

Huge pothole in the parking lot. Lot of kids in their teens running in the hotel especially at night. As in running across the floors at midnight. The room was well kept and very pleasant. But would not stay here again.

It was a good hotel,rooms were nice and well maintained. It's worth if one goes for a weekend trip to Quebac City as its at a very convenient spot for that. There is Mc Donald right next to the hotel so that was good for me :) Cost could have been a little less but overall its alright. Cheers!

Great place to stay! Beautiful pool area!! When we did encounter a minor problem in our room, they quickly moved us to another room. We had a great view of Old Quebec at night. Would definitely stay again.

1 of the nicest hotels ive ever been in.....i was surprised! considering how affordable it is....id compare it to hampton inns

This is a great location to easily get into Quebec City and the surrounding areas. The staff was friendly, helpful and efficient. The kids loved the pool. Would recommend this for a family get-away. We'll be back again!

This hotel is a great venue for a family vacation. Conveniently located next to a highway that brings you to the heart of Quebec City in less than 10 minutes (outside of traffic hours, of course). we found the pool to small and very cold the hot tub was not even worth getting in since it was under 100 more like 90, the sauna didnt work and the work out equipment looked like they bought it at a garage sale our room over looked some garbage containers the fan was very loud and hard to sleep with it run during the night maids didnt do a very good […] job cleaning the bathroom, we found a few left over hairs not impressed and will not be returning to this hotel Devamı

Overall it is a nice hotel. The indoor pool is simply amazing! We were in a double queen room. The room was clean, but the only critique I have is the lack of ventilation in the room. After just one shower, the whole room is humid, and uncomfortable. We would keep the air conditioning on, even if it was winter. It made it more comfortable. This was a great place to stop for a rest. They have a really cool atrium with pool/spa which is about 5 storeys high. The staff was very accommodating and would let us stay up by the pool area pretty late ;-). The pool area has a whole indoor park feel to it. With walking distance, many restaurants around the area. Not too far for driving to downtown.

Good value for the money. Rooms with fully transparent glass between the bedroom and bathroom slightly too ... revealing.

The only thing that I can say about the room is that the heating unit was extremely noisy, I had to shut it down. I had the same problem in the summer. The other is the service on brakfast was very slow.

We were passing thru from the east coast and needed to spend a night to rest. Nicely laid out room, bathroom was neat with the tub and frosted glass. Bed was large and comfortable, furniture in good condition and a new tv. Only downside was the smell of whatever cleaning solution had been used was very perfumy and I have an allergy to this sort of thing […] but managed to survive. Devamı

We stayed two night and paid a cheap price thanks to coupons and hotels.com (much more expensive if you buy on the hotel website). We paid for a double standard room and were upgraded to a suite with hot tub and king size bed. The bus stop is located just 5 minutes walk from the hotel and the bus takes you directly to Old Quebec. The pool and atrium […] are good but very humid and our skin wasn't that good after enjoying the jacuzzi...Don't know if the water was really clean. Beds are very comfortable, furniture in the room was great. We didn't try the hotel restaurant but went to the one just on the other side of the street which was really good and cheap. when we entered the room, it smelled moldy and the air condition was on. i went to open the window but there was no window in the room. then i went to the bathroom to see if there was a fan to turn it on but unfortunately there was no fan in the bathroom. so, after taking a shower there was no place for air to go but stay in the room thats why it smelled […] like that. we kept the air condition on all the time. it helped a lil bit but it still smelled bad. and there was no towel at all in the room when we checked in. overall, cheap hotel cheap service Devamı

I stayed at this hotel with my wife for a night. We stayed in one of the deluxe rooms. The front desk guy was great. The keys didn't work for the first older room so the front desk guy came up with us. His key worked fine but ours didn't. The first room was one of the older style rooms and had a massive jacuzzi in front of some kinky mirrors and the […] room was large. Because our keys didn't work, the front desk guy upgraded us to one of the top rooms which also had a jacuzzi. The room was large with a lot of rooms. The only thing it was missing was a table and chairs for eating. Excellent front desk service, free parking, 15 mins to Old Quebec by car and around the same to the Montmorency Falls. after spent one night in howard johnson with the bedbug,i came to this hotel second day.it's a nice clean place.reception are kindly,even have swimming pool inside building.i will choose this hotel again and recommand to my friend.

I've book a king side bed, and we never find that king size bed in our room, also the sink was block, we brush our toot in the tub, to finish the window in our room was so dirty we could barely see outside of the room.

It was so peaceful and the pool was great The hut tub was at the right temperature The only thing was we had trouble finding the timer for it. Loved it

convenient and close to all must see sights, but away from the noise and bustle of downtown; pleasant and accomodating staff; clean and welcoming; reasonable rate; fully bilingual making it easier as a non francaphone

For the price, it can't be beat. Beautiful hotel,fantastic atrium,large rooms,very clean,excellent service,close to renown restaurants,15 mins. to downtown old Quebec. Couln't ask for better!!!

It's an older hotel, the hallways certainly smell like older carpet... It's dated and away from the city. You should make sure you have a car to get to the city. There's not much around. It was cheaper than staying at the city tough and ok, nothing great.

this hotel is a waste of time. Location might be okay if you have business in the remote area. Otherwise visitors to Quebec can expect a 15 dollar cab ride to anything worth seeing. find somewhere else.

It's an ok place to stay, not in walking distance to the old city, you could drive there,but we took the bus which has a stop a few minute walk from the hotel, make sure you have correct change for the bus. The hotel has a pool, the room was ok, but the beds were very hard and uncomfortable, there are only about 5 or 6 english speaking channels on the […] tv. My biggest problem with this hotel was the bed comfort, if you like a hard bed then i would recommend this hotel. Devamı

Good price! Good service! About a 15 minute drive to downtown Quebec City. Good deal for your dollar. Will certainly stay there again.

The hotel staff was very accomodating, the airconditioning system was loud in our first room and they moved us to another room with any fuss. I think the noise is a problem throughout the hotel as the second room wasn't a lot quieter and the system in the hallways was noisy as well. A little maintenance could go a long way to fix it.

The hotel is in a nice, quiet neiboorhood, with easy access by car to Old Quebec and the falls. Several good restaurants and a Maxi super market very close.Good breakfast although not included. Free parking and internet. Poor fitness room.

Overall the hotel is OK for those who look to be in a hotel 10 minutes from downtown but needing to drive. This is one of the weaknesses of the location: You cannot walk to Old Quebec. We had a big problem with the air conditioning 2 nights in a row and was not 100% fixed when we left. Becareful, ask to make sure the room has a good A/C. Nice place, very nice small indoor pool and spa, perfect for families. Hard to find, our GPSs could not find this hotel with the address.
